hey guys i have a simple question
do mining pools really ban botnets users?

what will happen to the account who gets banned?
will the botnet infected computers still be mining even though the user gets banned?

I don't know much about it but I'd imagine botnet owers can swap pools remotely and can manage their own private pools if needed. And I'd also think they won't mine to the same address with hundreds of computers.

Not your keys, not your coins!
