So how many are aspiring to join this exclusive group? How many are already in it? Vladimir has stated that he thinks BTC2100 coins is a good number to acquire going forward. That's 1% of 1% of all the coins ever. It means the maximum number of members of this club would be 10,000 if it were formed 125 years from now and all the coins were divided equally. Right now it's not even half that.

Unless we get a freak dip into the pennies I'm probably way too late on the scene to make it into those ranks. However I'll keep dollar cost averaging until things get too rich for my taste (a long ways from the $10.65 it is right now).

A few members of the club I would suspect:

Satoshi (maybe x10 or x100)
pirate
knightmb
zhoutong?
Gavin

Who else? Obviously the entire bitcoin rich list is there. If enough committed to join the club and not sell until coins top $1,000,000 that would make a lot of new billionaires. And Forbes already tracks the bitcoin rich list so it would be no big deal to merge it with the Forbes 400. http://www.forbes.com/sites/jonmatonis/2012/06/22/the-bitcoin-richest-accumulating-large-balances/

So how many members of this group do you think exist?

There's already a 25k club that is invite only with proof of holdings (BTC&TCCCPPT not counted), and a "century club" has been discussed.

I don't know how many are eligible for the latter but I know there are about 1-2 dozen in the first.

By "century club" are you talking about BTC100,000+? Like the ArtForz's of Bitcoin? So any clue if allinvain's thief joined the 25k club? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=16457.0

I don't know if the str4wm4n club (or would that be strawman club?) would sound quite as cool. Although seeing as how it's a bit less exclusive maybe that's OK.

Im pretty sure memorydealer's coins are mixed up with my coins from bitcoinica unless he had a lot more before that.  I feel pretty bad for him, I believe he lost thousands of coins compared to my couple hundred.  I'd take those coins back any day now....

I don't think anyone is going to respond here saying "I'm in the club," especially since Bitcoiners value their privacy so much.

How many do you think are eligible for the club today? I would think it is far less than 5000 individuals, maybe closer to 500.. Undecided

HIM TVA Dragon, AOK-GM, Emperor of the Earth, Creator of the World, King of Crypto Kingdom, Lord of Malla, AOD-GEN, SA-GEN5, Ministry of Plenty (Join NOW!), Professor of Economics and Theology, Ph.D, AM, Chairman, Treasurer, Founder, CEO, 3*MG-2, 82*OHK, NKP, WTF, FFF, etc(x3)
