This must be a well-paying scam, ... It started out as EaszPay.com, til that got shut down. Then it was MtGax.com til that got shut down. Then MtGix.com ... for several weeks, but now shut down. And ... the latest incarnation: - http://i4dollars.comThe PayPal account has changed though, and now the scammer is receiving payment through: pay.techo@live.com

Well that didn't take long. - btkoin.com But it was already offline, presumably taken down but if so that happened before I caught a glimpse of it.

This site is up and functioning for me. Assume it is a scam.
Ah ... very clever friggin little scammer. I get a 403 forbidden from my IP, but from a proxy I get the page. So I'm blacklisted.

Aaaaaaaand they're back:
Domain Name: MTGIX.COM Registrar: SHANGHAI YOVOLE NETWORKS INC. Whois Server: whois.yovole.com Referral URL: http://www.yovole.com Name Server: NS.YOVOLE.COM Name Server: NS1.YOVOLE.COM Status: clientTransferProhibited Updated Date: 03-aug-2012 Creation Date: 03-aug-2012 Expiration Date: 03-aug-2013 Does anyone who speaks the language call or write to their domain registrar ( http://www.yovole.com ) and request a take-down? This must have been a nice and profitable scam to be this persistent after both easzpay.com and mtgax.com got shut down. They keep posting where bots pick it up and retweet, like forum and reddit threads, etc. I can write and speak in Chinese - but I doubt that'll do a fat lot of good here. Chinese registrars don't give a damn about take-downs unless it's from their government. Never know you are a Chinese. Then file a complaint to the Gov. The government doesn't care.

For posterity, here's the PayPal account that the payments on BTKoin.com are going through: - btko@yandex.comHow PayPal isn't on to them I have no idea. Almost makes me think PayPal is allowing it to be able to track the flow of funds. Anyway, others are asking about it. - http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=117528.0

I wonder if the people at Paypal are doing the scamming, to make people lose confidence in Bitcoin.
That is the common denominator. The current incarnation: BitcoinTalks.com The e-mail address for that PayPal account: bitcointalks.org@live.comPrevious scams (in chronological order) likely by the same scammer: - EasZPay.com [Fixed.] - MtGax.com - MtGix.com - i4Dollars.com - BTKoin.com There was one other, I can't remember the domain. Please report this scammer as badware: - http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/report_badware/?url=http://bitcointalks.com
