I certainly wouldn't write it off yet but if you are concerned, start gathering all the information that you might need in case you have to submit particulars to law enforcement or your lawyer or whoever. |

Did anyone notice that the original post was from August 2012?
At that time, 500btc wasn't worth $70,000 yet, so the investment probably looked like a moderate risk.
The cited transaction also seems to fit the story then.
However, OP raising a slight concern about the interest one year after he made the investment sounds a little trollish, indeed...
