Today was not a good day for miners or those holding.

At losing around 30 dollars each it was a better day for buyers then miners.

Definitely not a good day at all for earning Bitcoin, anyway you slice it.  Although, we all want to stand on it's own two feet, for now we still put a numerical value on what 1 Bitcoin is.  In theory, we want to say 1 Bitcoin is 1 Bitcoin, but until that day happens, we have to place a price tag based on the existing monetary system.

Miners, I can't even see anyone really, profiting at this extremely low Bitcoin price, especially factoring in the hosting/cooling/electrical costs.

Only positive like you mentioned, is it's cheaper buy in now then it was a couple days ago.  HODLER's, as long as you never sell out, will never lose anything when these dips and crashes happen, so keep doing what you doing.

Haven't done my faucet rounds in a while now but I made a trade on the marketplace so that is something.

I remember the good old days of my faucet rounds all day earning about 10cents but i learned a lot and would do it again even though they do need to pay more.

I got lucky today op and won around 0.23btc and i actually walked away from the table which is good news as i usually don't lol My investments hit the dirt so i am at a loss overall but onwards and upwards.

TC is the worse thing to happen to default, needs to open his eyes and not jump to conclusions, not everyone lies!!! Anyway as promised I have left, pass word changed to long random which I will forget like that plonker who ruined a perfectly fine account.

Made $25 (in BTC) today by offering some wordpress help to a member here. Nothing too much, but it was a small task, too.

In general, i try to offer services every other day (when i have some free time), just to get some Bits in a regular basis.

Loosing my investment on an altcoin that I have purchased thinking it will still go up, sadly I was able to buy during a pump now it seems, I might be able to sell at a lost in order to purchase something that I need this coming days.

nice, I think faucets serves an important function as it can be the first taste for anyone to 'get a taste' of bitcoin.

I haven't done any "fauceting" since my first days in Bitcoin community.

I think it's just a major waste of time. Good for starters to get their first tips (i remember the feeling  Cheesy) but other than that why bother? I mean you could invest your precious time into something else!

There are many places out there (not just the bitcointalk services) with people looking for your services.

And there are many ways to monetize your site / blog / twitter / facebook and get paid in BTC.

Combining any or all of these (+ a good signature campaign) and soon you'll find yourself getting BTC in a regular basis.

Right now i am getting paid for posting (see my signature), for tweeting and for selling my services (small design tweaks, wordpress tweaks, simple logo desigs etc).

It's not so hard after all.  Wink

I was trying out some smartphone money earning apps. AppCasher supposedly allows you to cash out to bitcoins but I can't find the option anywhere. My ref code is 2255990 is you're thinking of trying it out and we both get credits.

You are right they are a good addition to bitcoin i learned about bitcoin threw a faucet yes it took some time to accumulate even close to a dollar but it teaches you about addresses how to send and receive funds without having to lose your money in which you deposit before you fully understand.

I appreciate the few faucets i used and the one you mention above was one of them that has been going ages lol

Today i have just started so hopefully in a short while i would have registered some trades and my account will be up a few dollars but who knows it may well be down a few dollars.
