Try www.coursera.org for some courses.

For javascript console editors...
http://repl.it/languages/JavaScript
http://jsbin.com/?html,output

Try Teamtreehouse.com

It's free for 14 days and you can learn Android, Python, IOS, CSS, Webdev, and other things for 25 bucks a month.

You can even pay in Bitcoin.

You could also try some of those Udemy courses for more specifics.

Udemy has a lot of good courses to choose from, even some that aren't related to Javascript or even coding. Another site I found on Google that offers paid JS lessons is Codeschool, but I have not tried it before.

The cost is less than $30/month, but it's still pricey considering that you can find the same information online for free. You partially pay for the clear lesson format.

Try doing things hands on, take a project and work it out, find examples on other sites.

W3Schools is a nice reference with editable examples. Use Stackoverflow for the more serious questions.

Javascript is fun to learn. Find sites you like and try to copy the functionality, tweak and learn along the way.

I used to have a book, Javascript in ten minutes, it had some examples and used it as reference on my desk for years, but that was over 15 years ago Smiley

Google, W3S and Stack are your friends in this one.. And JQuery Smiley
