Details: List is big, 41k emails in it. One file. Mixed worldwide. Many custom email domains, not many free like gmail, hotmail and yahoo. More like business. It is private method how I got it. Buyer must agree to use escrow so no one gets scammed. Escrow will be someone from this board, trusted and without any bad reputation by my selection. I can upload somewhere by your choice with password protect, can be too by your choice or I can send to your email after payment. 1 file all emails. List is 1 emal per line. Anything else? Oh so because he is not selling passwords it is ok to sell a list of emails?

If you are harvesting people's email addresses without their explicit permission for the very purpose which you want to use the email address for then it would be illegal in most countries.

If you got the explicit permission from those people's email address you gather and they know that their email address would be used for whatever purpose it is intended for then it would be okay.

It all boils down to whether the email address owners knows what their email address is used for and if they given full permission or not.
 And lets be honest these email owners have no idea what this guy is doing with their mails SO YES ITS ILLEGAL

This is the problem:

It is private method how I got it.

For this to be legal every user would need to agree their information can be sold.
If the seller doesn't even say how he got this list then there's 100% chance he doesn't have that authorization.

It's not illegal to have a list of e-mails and sell it. It's illegal if you send unsolicited  email to those address. Before you copy paste some lines from a forum using google, it's better to do a research.

Law varies per country, for example UK's Data Protection Act and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (source).
And if it's illegal to use then buying and selling knowing it will be used for something illegal is illegal too (conspiracy).

I just went through the site you reported. Just letting you know US laws don't apply worldwide. And sorry about that edit thing. I am kind of a new to this forum. Didn't know you can't edit in auction section.
