I can't tell if it's just me being stingy, or people are just insane with what they valuate their domains to be. Might wanna lower the starting bid there mate.

I agree. I've seen several domains worth < BTC0.25 being published for > BTC10.

yeah its really insane, however it was alot worse a year ago, people where asking for 100btc on a domain like thebitcoinluxury.org
