..UNTIL SEPTEMBER!

Thanks to our distributions manager for releasing this list of 60 stores selling our magazine so quickly on request. This list is subject to change and will most certainly grow as I am receiving PMs and emails on a regular basis that people's local stores are being persuaded to carry it.

If you recognize a store name on your list, please visit it to purchase your copy and support Bitcoin Magazine! If you visit and they are sold out, please ask them to carry more copies!

Rofl. I had missed that. So Bitcoin Magazine is being sold across the street from the US Treasury. Let's hope some people there notice it on the newsstand.

The White House and Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and Capitol Hill are not too far away either. You are welcome!

Curious, in the future what time line are you guys thinking of printing the subsequent issues? Monthly? Weekly?

better map

http://batchgeo.com/map/bc9c5270ba531eee0c2455f4a8959215

it seems like, for Wisconsin at least, better presence is caused by order from Bookworld chain.

If the hardheaded Sconnies and Yoopers start accepting Bitcoin, the magazine will indeed succeed. I'll be ordering my Swiss Colony Cheese Log and Fruitcake cryptographically!

P.S. Porn of Issue #2

Amazingly, you weren't kidding... Barnes and Noble! Congratulations! Grin

Now, this is probably not the right place to point this out, but I think the fat yellow pixelfont used in the magazine logo is ugly and retro in a bad way. Using yellow text makes for really bad contrast on glossy, whiteish background, this could make it hard to read in a brightly lit store. I really like your project and wish you all the best, but the magazine covers for issues #1 and #2 look like amateur work.

The white-on-black web logo would be better, in my humble, unprofessional opinion.

For comparison: http://bitcoinmagazine.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/Press_release_logo.jpg

These things will start to matter once you target retailers like B&N, with audiences outside the always forgiving and sweet Bitcoin community. Smiley

Is there a Bitcoin Magazine feedback thread somewhere, where this comment would be more appropriate?

#2 and #3 are booked with so called "matt gloss and spot UV finish" those yellows will look OK. Also you are being mislead by RGB's of your monitor.

SOLUTION: Sneak them into local book store chains and find a spot for them. People will see them there at the very least, and it best try to buy it. Eventually someone will ask to have it stocked. repeat this as much as possible in big book chains until they stock it for real.

Curious, in the future what time line are you guys thinking of printing the subsequent issues? Monthly? Weekly?

Due to the contract with major bookstores such as Barnes & Noble, we are already on a monthly schedule and can't change that easily.

Easiest way to do this: if you have a magazine title/cover you think would be more suitable, email it to info@bitcoinmagazine.co.uk and we'll take a look.
