I like the idea of Nefario keeping most of the GLBSE's Bitcoins in a offline wallet a lot.

I consider any BTC on a online server as a hacker's funds on layaway.

how does or how would 1-2 day wait provide better security?  isn't most of GLBSE funds already in cold storage?

To give users adequate time to detect security breaches and allow Nefario to verify if the withdrawals are legitimate and not from a security breach.

i would rather get email or sms with confirm code that i could enter at the site to complete withdraw transaction, or have GLBSE send confirm codes table with something like columns a, b, c, d, etc and rows 1, 2, 3, 4 etc and then at each withdraw GBLSE could ask to fill in randomly selected code, for instance B2 or F3 and so on
other option is to have user lock withdraw to specific ip/s
or lock withdraw address like pirate does

1-2 day wait is too long in bitcoin world.

honestly i'm more worried for assets being present only at GLBSE site than bitcoins on there, if anything goes wrong with GLBSE, there is no way for me to confirm/verify/restore my assets with issuers

Take a screenshot of them with your taskbar's date and time in the picture as a receipt.

heh, it's very easy in photoshop to draw some extra 0s on a screenshot )) not that i'd do that, but my point is no screenshot can be proof of anything

Nefario, we need some public and private addresses for securities ASAP.

What are your feelings on government and value?

Governments are just militarized corporations. Value is subjective.
