The type of insurance that coinbase has would have covered that.  Because the funds were in cold storage, which points to inside job, or really, really lazy mgmt.

It's definitely a plus that they now have a plan to return every cutomer their hard earned funds.

It only makes me wonder how many of these customers will still use their trading platform after being paid back in full.

At this point it's nothing more than a plan. Let's hope it works out as their are stating. Action speaks louder than words.
