Hey everyone. I'm very new to using bitcoin so I'm still trying to figure it all out. Just out of curiosity, I was just wondering what many of you use bitcoin on? Do you use it for online services or for more physical goods and services?

I use bitcoin mostly on online goods which I can usually resell for more bitcoin : )
At this point though, I'm trying to show others the uses of bitcoin in local shops where I live. Mostly, I tell them how much a bitcoin costs and they freak. They freak even more when I told them at one point that it was worth pennies.

I've used, in a few occasions, for online gambling but mostly to buy stuff online. I know many people here say that you shouldn't spend but instead collect and keep. If you are interested in buying stuff from ebay, amazon or any other website I'd recommend you brawker.com. You will see whats it all about on their homepage. I've already bought a coat, a tablet and a few little items trought them from ebay.

I am not sure if I understand you correctly Op. But since bitcoin is digital creation it only can be used via online network. If you asking if we are buying stuff with bitcoin or paying for services for it the answer is in both cases - yes, we are. There are online shops already accepting bitcoin, you can buy almost anything and pay for your VPN service with bitcoin.

Mostly I use it for gambling and to buy certain digital products like cheaper porn accounts, ebooks, games etc. I haven't bought a physical good using BTC so far but I would like to buy a souvenir like one of those BTC Silver/Gold coins.

You can buy gift cards with bitcoin and buy anything you like from large online stores. You can buy Dell computers with bitcoin if you live in US.

I use Bitcoins to buy VPS and other online services. I don't spend e'm all i hold some of them in case if the prices moves upwards i exchange them for fiat. I also sometimes buy altcoins with Bitcoins.

My personal bitcoin use at the moment is very low, I am holding like the other users (because I'm waiting the next block reward halving 25 BTC > 12.5 BTC). However I have used bitcoin as currency for buy some stuff online (video games on steam, a couple of bitcoin stickers, electronic products) I find it is more easy, fast and secure to use respect the fiat.

Currently I have been using my bitcoins for trading purposes but I find it easier to convert the bitcoins into cash via other payment processors. I wish to buy gift cards and paying bills which is more useful to me.

In my country I can order food and pay with bitcoin, so that is a great spending oppertunity. I am looking at buying some whiskey with my hard earned bitcoins(for consumption, not speculation). Most coins I put into online business to get some roi, that is how I earn my bitcoins, put in some coins, wait a bit and hope they return multiplied

Bitcoin can be used for buying both digital and physical goods, recently I've used it to buy games on steam, product codes for software and a small amount of day-trading (with other alt currencies). More are more companies are accepting bitcoin nowadays, it wont be too long until you can buy pretty much anything you want. I'm looking forward to the day I can live fiat free

BTC can be used for many things nowadays. A lot of niche sites along with larger retailers and service providers like namecheap (hosting services) Tigerdirect (electronics) and even forwardthinking restuarants take it as payedment. You might be surprised!

I have spent my Bitcoin for online services/digital goods, like VPS. Sometimes I spent my Bitcoin to top up my mobile phone. Really different experience than using fiat.
