Sadly the account market is really too saturated to support a price of .5 BTC for an account with only 250 activity. You are correct to say that one could easily ROI in only a few weeks with that price however there are too many other people willing to sell accounts with similar activity levels and too few buyers willing to pay for them.

This is probably a good time for someone to buy a senior ranking account who plans to post constructively in a signature campaign.

Agreed on all points. If a bigger campaign comes along it might be a different story but accounts don't seem to be going for as much as they did in the past and more and more accounts are going to become available over time due to people farming them. I don't think op will get anywhere near his asking price. 0.2-0.35 max.

again i don't see nothing spammy about my post, see second page what's spammy? they are all on-topic, as long a they are on topic they are good post in my view don't need to write a wall of text in every post

one line post != spammy, off-topic = spammy, that's how i see it, and i'm not selling it below 0.4 sry

Probably too high for a Senior. They mostly go for no higher than 0.4 but they seem to be struggling to get that with a few sales for much cheaper at 0.25+.

A Senior account with 240ish activity is long to make but there are not a lot of demand because big signature participants already have many of them and can build new ones while there are a good amount in offer if needed.
0.5 is higher than what he should expect for it now. 0.3 is possible.

I think it's unreal to sell Sr. Member account even for 0.4 BTC. I created an auction for selling my Sr. Member account with start price only 0.2 and nobody has been interested in it.

I've seen senior accounts sell for ~0.4 btc so it's not unreasonable to expect that amount, just depends on the amount of sig campaigns, btc price etc

Seems to be a lot of members selling their accounts at the moment so it's probably not the best time to be selling them.

What you have likely seen is a 'high rank' senior account sell for that maybe 420+activity not a 280 activity that has only a just above spammy post history, you run the risk of an account like that being banned when it finally joins a campaign and then if you have another account that to, if not and you don't realise it has been banned and then post you will get ban evasion or possible perma ban. Also the account is now known so never are you getting more than 0.2btc i would close the thread if you would not consider that.

Yeh aright, what you should do is go post the required 380+ posts in 2 weeks and see how that turns out for you   Tongue

It isn't a good price.
1) you have revealed that you are selling this account thus, change in password or posting style would certainly mean that the owner has changed.
2) You have a lot of spammy post.
3) There are users selling accounts with more activity while having the exact opposite of point 1,2.

Now tell me, how is it a good price if people can post less and still ROI?

wut? point 1 is no sense, what's the problem here about changing style if selling account is allowed by the forum? who care if mod now that the owner changed if it is allowed?
point two, tell me where are those spammy post i see none(you know that one line post aren't spam right, if they are on topic?)
again tell me does users who they are

1)The forum allows the trading of accounts but most people don't like it, eg. Signature campaign owners.
2) Yeah I didn't say one liners were spams but these are rather insubstantial:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=762919.msg8600277#msg8600277
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=761603.msg8600253#msg8600253

They may be on topic but they definitely aren't very constructive. Nearly all of your post are 1 liners.
3) I didn't say that as I hate to hijack threads but
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=992669.0
and
quickseller offered accounts cheaper than you.
Ps. I'm sure there's more since I only went for the first few pages of auction section.

not that much cheaper, also that is an auction totally different, my post are one line because i don't have time to post too much also i'm not with any sig campaign,  so as long as they are on topic they can be less costructive i think
