Just got a message from a new user (patrick2902) with the link : http://steamcommunity.com/          profiles/            76561198034912521
I inadvertently clicked it, not something I normally do.

Page seems clean to me but anyone want to check it? This probably went to other users as well - how to report this account to admins?

Thanks

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Just general advice in terms of steam links. Take the long number at the end (steam id 64), use your favorite search engine to search for steam community and add the rest of the URL by hand. Alternativly search for steam rep and enter the ID directly. Steamrep will provide a correct link and plenty of information about the account.

You should not get bothered by random people sending you links, but its not a phishing site.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

Thanks! I knew it was not a phishing site but I feared they could have put some malicious code on the page, e.g. JS which could then exploit my browser.
