Amazon, eBay, etc. But why would you want a miner? Just invest in cloud mining. Everything is taken care of.

if he have cheap electricity it's better to do it yourself, at least you are the responsible of everything, and anyway i would buy one on the marketplace, one used, instead of wasting time on amazon and ebey, where price are high as fuck

A friend of mine bought two used S3 for $150 each some time ago. They both were out of order in two weeks or so. I think they furbished them up before selling because they were looking like almost new ones. ... I wouldn't recommend to buy used miners.

take a look at the miners from bitmain or hashnest (with hosting)
Bitmain is the most serious mining hardware manufacturer

Hhuhh. I was totally right to go with Bitmain. I thought it was dependable and good from what I experienced. It really IS! I am glad I stuck with Bitmain miners.

I already have a U2 which will be paired with 2 S3s. I can't wait! So anxious for these to come and get the antenna and everything set up by November 15 if I need more than I expected. Can buy the antenna on the 15th from Ebay for a few dollars. Found out how to attach it when it is time.

Terrible answer. What cloudmining outfit is legit and will achieve ROI? Hashnest?  Roll Eyes

well this was your fault, used should cost much less, actually the s3 should cost 100 even if it is new, but anyway this isn't an excuse to not spend less by bying an used one

the only problem related could be malfunction

Well, actually it wasn't my my fault  Smiley and that was almost like a year ago so $150 would be a fair price at the time, the problem was IMO that those antminers were severely damaged somewhere inside and that was concealed by pretty nice exterior look.

So my point is if buying used you should be a real expert and in that case you can even save some money.

Saw an sp10 on ebay for 250 usd (not sure if it incl shipping or not) so for the heck of it I plug'd in the figures on it. Main reason is i remembered the PSU was included THOUGHT
MAYBE I could get it as a 'small loss' toy? (no such luck)

www.tradeblock.com

1400 gh

1200 watts

250 buy it price (was optimistic free shipping)

the PSU is built in (no additional costs on sp10 units)

 pool fee 0

the standard 7% rate the chart used

13.5c kwh

I ONLY lost 35 bucks a month. From my use of a Titan and Jupiter (some for the jupiter) last winter my gas bill for the furnace was down 35 bucks a month on budget..soooooo
assuming the sp10 used the same juice (prob a bit more) and gave off the same heat as the jupiter 550gh unit (retired) I would make a  whole ONE DOLLAR OVER MY GAS BILL SAVINGS DUE TO ITS SPACE HEATER QUALITIES Smiley

yeah i was kinda annoyed also but I put this out their for my friends out here from Oregon USA or other parts of the world with cheap electric (prob in the 5c range) perhaps
you can make use for this info....I mean its a lot of work for a buck profit for the winter and use as  a space heater in my area Smiley FML

there is 5 cubes on ebay for a neptune no controller if you have the skills and an old knc jupiter/saturn/mercury about you can re-flash those boards to a neppie and TRY
to get these cubes up...currently 100 bucks

to me not worth it ...looks like the dredge of cubes destined to be paperweights from a data hall or some such Sad

OP - Here's what to do to buy a Bitcoin miner.

Send me half the money you were prepared to spend on a miner.

I will take the money and send you nothing.

Now, you will have more money than you will ever have by trying to mine with a single miner in today's crazy high difficulty.

Mining is an effective way of earning bitcoins. But, mining requires hardware which you need to buy. There are many websites like ebay.in which can give you bitcoin miners at affordable prices. So, grab them and start mining, and grow your bitcoin earnings!

As far as I know, bitmain is the most famous manufacturer in this area. I remember when their miners' performance is not up to specification, bitmain gives out some compensation.

Bitmain or Spondoolies Tech, other vendors I don't know nor will I use them.

Above companies are solid, reliable and have proven themselve.

Again don't cost much ($25 bucks each and $6 shipping ..er up to 3 of them at the $6 bucks shipping FYI)

they are 8gh usb sticks by Sidehack a project here on bitcoin forum. See link below the only catch is the ROI is a smile Smiley (ie toy mode you won't make back your investment in btc..then again so cheap it don't matter...)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1126705.0

anyway only 'safe' toy that won't ROI that I know about. All the other high end stuff likely won't ROI either esp with electric..so I'd get this to feed a 'home miner' addiction myself Smiley

Newegg use to sell these huge miners that were in a black box the size of a mini fridge. They were running for $900. I was actually thinking of buying 10 of them and stacking them in my basement. But then reality set in and it didn't make economical sense at that time since the electricity costs alone would kill me.
