do u think they will start accepting it soon i doubt it since they are a bunch of corrupt fucks that dismiss anything they cannot control...
they have tokens honor points glorycoins and other worthless shit to make you play more and other sub nonsense shit well i only care about gear and im still pissed off they havent added gear on their store yet and if they did i would get the best at hand and wouldnt have to spend hours timewasting just to be equal in the game im fedup with it.
if they did i wouldnt have to enter all my personal shit and give away my freedom just to play a game.
wot say you they will probably add it in about 5 years when its "established" to their liking

I would like to see Bitcoin in games like WOW. Or maybe an alt that can be traded for BTC since BTC doesn't sound too "wow-ish".
Dollar does not sound to 'wow-ish' either, doesn't it? It is not about the name of FIAT or cryptos we are using it after all. I heard that they want to create their own payment system, a ditch paypal and bitcoin at the same time. I find it hard to believe tho because Blizzard suck at creating functional economy (look at D3). |

Why do you care? The number of wow players is declining, let's face it it's an old game and there's a lot of new, better MMOs out there.
Also Blizzard is greedy and likes to be in control of the game economy, but is not as Chinese farmers are selling gold in bulk as we speak.
I second you here wow is really looks outdated these days . They need to improve it should do their best to bring not only the existed player back but also catch new players with improvements. |

Do I see a player here? Maybe he's into PVE. Anyhow, I doubt that Blizzard will accept Bitcoin anytime soon, but who knows. We've seen a lot of surprises when it comes to the adoption. It really depends on the mindset of the people running the company. |

But there is no indicators at all of them trying to embrace it. It would be great news for every crypto user but they might be afraid of huge leap like that. I guess they are waiting for other companies to make first step in that direction. |

And imagine situation where every game with F2P model creates their own currency - only compatible with shop in said game and can't be used outside it at all. This one hell of a stupid idea. |

Runescape has gold, World of Warcraft has gold, League of Legends has gold, etc. They all have individual in-game currencies. There's no point for them to use a blockchain cryptocurrency since they would need centralized control(Its just games guys). |

Heck yes that would be super sweet to spend bitcoin in WoW and many other MMOs. It's just another example of the proliferation and development of the almighty bitcoin market. This is the cool thing about bicoin is how it can open doors to a whole new world of commerce.
Actually, just look at Second Life and how folks will sometimes convert Second Life Linders to BTC because it's one of the few ways to do so through Paypal.
