I'm not sure about this Casino, as stated in a previous post the starter of the thread hasn't responded to anything. This is a bit awkward I know, but don't mean anything either. They could be the owner of the site and have alot of matters to attend to. I'm fairly sure that if they don't post some info in the next day or so that this was a hoax and should be marked as such.

Indeed, there have been instances of bitcoin businesses who announced here and then rarely check in.  However, it usually turns out that this was a mistake, the owners of the business underestimating the importance of this forum for reputation and information distrubution.  You're also right that we should wait a few days before feeling too sure because, of course, emergencies do crop up in people's lives.

Woah! Thanks for all the quick feedback guys! Smiley Sorry for being a bit slow on the pick up, I've been trying to simulatenously promote the site's reputation on social media a bit more, and produce some content. Now, let's see.

Site looks decent. Are you offering any no deposit bonuses for members to test the site out?

I've sent an email to my boss in regards to that, I'll let you guys know if anything comes around.

What a long domain and it looks cool, I would love to try it if you offer some bonus.

So far, as mentioned, we offer a 25% bonus on deposits made by any bitcoin forum members, so long as they contant us through support@miamivicecasino.co.uk and ask for their bonus.

As others have said, your best bet to get things going is to offer small change for free so that folks will try it out.  I know that I won't deposit my own money in a new site until I've had a chance to see that things are fair, acceptable, fun, etc.  On the other hand, sites that offer small faucets for me to try have often gotten me quite hooked and I end up playing with my own money once I trust them.

Thanks for the advice! A faucet sounds like a good idea. I'll forward this, cheers.

Good luck with your new casino, but if you will open a new account to promote your casino, why dont use the casino name as the new user on the forum?

I've picked the name up from a previous representative, for simplicity's sake. Maybe he chose it because it's easier to type? I'm not sure.

Personally I feel that you could do a promo code and attract more members. I for one am not going to invest my own funds in something I know nothing about. You should give promo codes to trusted members of the community that are willing to validate your site, such as Faneagle for example. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion! Any ideas are welcomed, and I'll bring them to attention.

Sorry, but i don't understand this, to the site i read

eGoldInternational has 20 years of experience in the internet services business and has been designed specifically to provide credit card, debit card and bank transfers services for the purchase of Bitcoins.

But the domain www.egoldinternational.co.uk  to the whois report:
Registered on: 31-Mar-2014
eGoldInternational has 20 years of experience in the internet services business and has been designed specifically to provide credit card, debit card and bank transfers services for the purchase of Bitcoins.

Interestingly their footer has snippets of what appears to be Bulgarian:

http://i.gyazo.com/6b3043a29cc0a84c95077ccd96cb6caa.png

but if legitimate it looks like a very useful service

eGold International is partnered with us, but we aren't quite savvy to all their information. I have personally used them to purchase BTC, and it worked out. Needless to say, if you're uncomfortable with them then feel free to use any other method whatsoever.

Just a quick bit of advice, I hope you ran this through a legal representative before setting it up with a co.uk domain.

Earlier the Gambling Commission in UK explicitly considered any website using the co.uk domain as being marketed towards the population in UK and in order to comply with the law they had to be licensed in one of the "white listed" jurisdiction, which Curacao was not.

With the new Gambling Bill that came into effect in December last year that was changed so all sites marketing to the UK population has to get a license in UK.

That's interesting info, I'll forward it immediately. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm afraid it's true that I've underestimated the importance of reputation on this forum. Most of the other forums in which I've posted have had nearly no reply, so I was quite surprised to see the level of activity here.

The site doesn't have an ssl certificate.

I'll bring it up and look into it, thanks for the mention!

Does not look good at this point that OP has not responded since his original post.  Seems strange to announce a site opening and then not monitor the thread.
you're right, and the op post is very poor for a professional site,at least they should have included an image with a good design

Good point, an image would've helped. Thanks for the feedback!

The site doesn't look that bad but I'd check this info provided by uber. You also might make the casino provably fair. If it already is I couldn't find such information on the site.
How are you planning to attract players? There's over 50 bitcoin games and casinos advertising here, what makes you so special?

I'll ask about becoming provably fair. We're approaching from two angles, mainly through social media, but also these forum posts. If anything, we'd like to place an emphasis on player-casino communication, and transparency. As the representative of the site's presence online, I'm available for any questions and suggestions, and we'd like to use that to create an open community. Of course, that means it's a tough road in the beginning, since we'd have to build up this friendly community to begin with.

Just got back from Vegas and had an urge to play some extremely low stakes craps.

I made the following deposits on the site:

4.72 mBTC
26.43 mBTC
75.77 mBTC

Played Craps. Ran it up to 131.12 mBTC and was able to cash out successfully. Seems legit, but would play it safe and wait until OP responds. Craps game is impressive.

Thanks for giving the game a try!

Hey,
maybe this thread would get more attention if you had posted it in the gambling section.
Anyways, what made you choose to license your online casino through Curacao over other countries such as Costa Rica or Panama?

You said your casino is licensed and regulated though Curacao, what's that? Could you introduce it?

It seems regulated casinos need ID document and utility bill to withdraw, is it right?

Why not post a promo code to let's play.

Generally casinos set a high wager requirement, bonus is difficult to become the real money, So let us try. Cheesy

Miami Vice Casino is powered by CoinGaming.io, which is based in Curacao. They're licensed (license available on their site), and require no transaction fees.

Thanks for all the quick feedback and suggestions guys! Again, I apologize for taking my sweet time. I'll see about getting a way for new players to get some free mBTC to play around with and test the site out, and I'll let you guys know if anything new comes up. In the meantime, you can also find us on Google+, Facebook and Twitter, all three maintained by me as well. I also run a Tumblr blog, and a Medium blog, although what's posted there is circulated in the three primary networks anyways. If you've got any more questions, don't hesitate to ask! I'll answer them to the best of my ability, and what I can't answer, I'll bring up with someone who can.

Cheers,

Mark

WOW, that post by the OP might have set a record in replying to many comments in one post.  Good job OP.

My final bit of advice for the moment is that even though social media is important, this bitcoinforum is pretty central to almost everything that goes down in the bitcoin world.  Don't stay away for too long or rumors of your demise will almost certainly pop up and damage your reputation.  It's unfortunate that sometimes these rumors are just unfounded as someone might be away for other reasons yet I've seen it many times.  Stay on top of your bitcointalk.org thread if you want to build your rep!  That's my 2 satoshis.

Maybe to begin with as he is new he didn't know that is what people really look for here, now he does i am pretty sure he will sort it out in the not so distant future the success of the site depends on it and he seems genuine enough. The ssl he has said is going to bring up 'look into' which again the site needs it op. Anyway from what i have seen i like the look and feel of your site once i see that you have brought provably fair into it i will be sure to make a deposit and have some games on the weekend. Well done and good luck

I've brought both things up with my boss, and rest assured we're working on it. We're also in the process of moving the site to a .com domain, while adding a few unannounced features/changes. More when it's ready!

That's right, until they get good reputation in the forum. Or we can play in other casinos, bitcasino.io and betcoin.ag both have same games. They three use the same game suppliers.

I think your site is designed so simple sketchy , it is not appropriate for a betting website . It gives the player the feeling uneasy when playing at your website . They may think that even the "face" of the website are not professional, they wonder if their play during that incident or dispute, they do not dare to believe that the person responsible of the website can handle them in a professional manner .

What game you have it available or what new game then you should "pull players to" . Not let players to "Find Games" . I think so.
But I appreciate your enthussiastic response ! Wink

Sure. However, being provably fair having SSL are prerequisites otherwise sig ad money would be trashed down the can.

We're currently catering to Bitcoin only, and there are no plans to change that currently. If the community response warrants it, we may consider it, but otherwise we're not sure how much we would gain by adding on the extra hassle of processing various other coins. Thank you for the response!

There is no wagering requirement on the 25mBTC, as long as you answer the question correctly and provide us with your on-site account name, we'll credit the BTC to your account. Please see this post for an update. Standard bonus play-through requirements are necessary, found here. Our social media links are:

I'm admittedly not sure as to how old that model is, although I doubt it would be 12 years old. It may be a teen, though. These are stock images, not ours, but I'll let our designer know to try and aim for a more age-appropriate representative.

BTW, we've launched our second trivia question yesterday! They're uploaded every Monday or Tuesday, meaning the first 10 people to answer correctly can get a free 25 mBTC every week.
