Hey guys,
I am looking to sell 2 of my Antminer S3's.  Both units hash consistently @ 440+gh/s and have always been used in a temperature controlled environment.  Both are in great shape and will ship in the original boxes.

Looking for $130 $120 105(each) + shipping to the US.  I will accept BTC or paypal as payment.
Both for $250 $235 200 + shipping to the US.

Update 4/7/15:  1 unit sold.  1 still for sale.

I would be interested but price is too steep for my blood.  I am in Houston, TX 77002 if you think we can save some money on shipping or else where to lower the price I will take both.

I am just a poor miner trying to hit ROI

Same here...I could fit two S3's into my farm but I am in a better position to ROI than most and this is +150 days even for me.

People don't buy stuff with no chance of breaking even anymore!

I only have a signature because I'm allowed.

To provide a data point for folks, last week I bought two Antminer S3s and a Corsair RM 750 off eBay shipped across the US (3 days) for $247.

I realize the ROI is tough to hit, but it's a hobby and I'm in the long haul with this stuff.

FWIW, love the machines! They've been a hair shy of 440 but super consistent there.

Longing for an S5 or two.

Happy mining everyone  Smiley

Thanks, TDM

You need to realize that the price paid on eBay is always going to be higher then what you will find on the forum because of ebay's fees (and paypal's fees) as well as the fact that people on ebay tend to not pay attention as to what it will take to ROI on various equipment based on the price.

People who trade on the forum tend to be much better educated regarding what it will take to roi

I might be mistaken, but I think that was his point.  If he can buy two S3's and a RM750 PSU off ebay for $247 shipped the asking price of $250 shipped for just the two units on here is definitely higher than what people on this forum is willing to pay.  The OP may want to try ebay for the prices that he's asking.

That was exactly my point, thank you.

I got a whole rig, ready to go, shipped to my house across the whole country (NV to MD) for less than the asking price of two S3s.

On here, where the people who know play, I'd expect much lower prices than on eBay. One senior member here is selling S2s for $100 or so plus shipping. He seems to know what it's going to take to move units and takes into account the power suck, etc.

We're all in a wicked game right now. What do you even do with S1s?

All that said, I love it. Good luck with your systems!

Thanks, TDM

Well I am sure that people are selling things for all kinds of crazy prices, but that does not mean that anyone will actually pay that much for them. If a thread has been up for more then a few days then it is most likely that the seller is not going to be able to sell their miner unless they have significant quantities of miners they are trying to move. The reason being that miners tend to be a deprecating asset, so if it is not worth a certain amount to a potential buyer today then it would be worth even less to a potential buyer tomorrow

I bought one for like $62 USD and already got ROI with it.

I Wouldn't feel comfortable paying double especially since its very old hardware, you get no warranty, not that efficient on power, etc.

I fully understand where all of you are coming from. I just didn't expect to not even get a offer. I guess my original asking price is just that outlandish.
