I can't believe nobody is talking about this in other threads!  We should make a new one.

That would mean that MTGOX had to hold that money at some point Smiley
Will be interesting to see when the USD flow through MTGOX becomes a "real" issue.

So what *actually* happened with MTGox? Because I had a sell order in for 12BTC at $11.66666 and it's not clear whether that executed or not. I *think* it did, but my balance still shows 12.3 BTC and whatever USD, when it should be all USD. Anyway, I assume MTGox is still trying to fix the glitch.

I don't believe these glitches are just random or by any chance real "glitches".

I doubt their code is that broken, my suspicion is some inside market manipulation, to what end.. idk.
But it is very, very fishy as this occurs only when significant movements happen.

I'm inclined to believe it is coincidence or at the worst case scenario, gox flipping to manual in order to help safeguard their 'whales'(I use that term very loosely here) when placing large buy orders.

Though, I cannot help but notice that there have been a higher number of said coincidences lately. ;p

And, did we really need another thread for this, as phorensic so elegantly pointed out?

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.
