Hey guys, remember Flexcoin?  http://flexcoin.com/

I remembered about it today.  I went to withdraw my account balances that were still there.  It worked.

Does anyone else still use this?  I love the concept of the vanity account names that act as intra-systemic addresses.  I sort of hoped I would have been hearing more about this by now.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I remember I checked into that long ago. I decided I wouldn't use a service that cannot even write promotional info at a primary school level. Or bother to get it proof read and edited by their parents.

A lot of people still use our service every day, though not enough people seem to know about the "user to user" transfers which the usernames are really useful for. We're currently working on more features to expand Flexcoin's usefulness in the ever growing, competitive bitcoin market. Hopefully we'll have some updates on our changes soon Smiley

For somebody that hasn't been logged-in for a while, you sure seemed to know about this thread.

That said, I'm just going to park this here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=13868

I dare anybody to ask me why. But first let's see if anybody else can figure it out.

Ah! Google alerted you. I would have shown it was via a logged-in sockpuppet. I'll tell you what. I give you a chance to proclaim which sockpuppet on this thread is you. If you don't, I'll state my case.

That's a pretty interesting thread I've linked to, don't you think?

Not quite 100% true.

Why did you crop the author from the quote?

Hardforks aren't that hard. It’s getting others to use them that's hard.

I believe it's a mis-quote from our FAQ here.
Quote
Q: What does this site do?

A: When you send a bitcoin, it will only be accessible on the computer it is sent to, and nowhere else.  flexcoin acts as a centralized location to store all of your bitcoins, so that you can send them anywhere from any web connected device.  It eliminates the need to be connected to the PC you originally received the bitcoin on.

This FAQ was written by the previous owners, and as was mentioned, requires a re-write.

I could do the same thing with the Bitcoinia investors via Wikipedia, along with connecting Zhou Tong with his girlfriend. Did you know he has/had a girlfriend?

And this, ladies and gentlemen is what happens when I respond hastily via my phone. Smiley Thank you for finding the actual source, I did think it strange that someone would rewrite something and then throw it in as a quote.

PG, Are you attempting to imply that I am this "Mark Logan Pedley" character? Because from the articles, it sounds like he went to jail in Feb 2011, and while my current cubicle is somewhat bleak, it could hardly be considered a cell.

Do you have any more conspiracy theories under your tinfoil hat?

What I was subtly implying is that you, melchizedek and [Tycho] are all the same people, albeit using different avatars. Now would you, or either of the other two, like to go on record and state publicly that that's not the case? Be vewy vewy careful in replying, I'm huntin' sock-wabbits.

Yes I use the service tho it seems a bit archaic now with the likes of MyWallet.  It needs some innovation to make it more attractive.

You know what? if you start a new thread publicly stating your "case" I'll happily state that I'm neither of those people. It should be mentioned that the guy best known for hunting "wabbits" is normally made a fool of, by the very "wabbits" he is hunting. However, if you'd like to continue down this road, please make your thread.

Put it right in "Bitcoin discussion" with "Mark Logan = Daffy Duck = Bugs Bunny" as the title for all I care, I'll keep an eye out for it, you can even PM me when it's there.

Why PM, when you've already proven to us you get your alerts via Google?

If I put such a thread in Discussion, it may get moved right back here. This thread is entitled Flexcoin? and you're the owner, so let's do it here. BTW, you seem a little terse. I've seen such terseness before, and at the end of the day, it didn't bode too well for the terser.

Let's see how terse you'll get when you read what I pen next: GRAY MARK R & CINDI (make no mistake, for I can link you to this fairly easily)

I think I created a linkedin profile, but I never did anything with it.

Telecommunications, that's my work experience. Which is why I didn't go at this alone, I brought in my friends in security analysis.

I can't guarantee I can continue answering questions today. I'm quite ill at this time. But, I'm going to try.

Since you can't remember, and Google never forgets, here's your Linkedin page you once linked to: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/james-gray/6/492/913

As far as FB is concerned, there seems to be another James Gary who also is a Bitcoiner, but has a hell of a more active wall: http://www.facebook.com/james.gray.758737?sk=info

Okay... so now you think I'm from Texas? This is just getting better.

Holy shit bruno, just fucking knock it off. What are you on, anyway? Whatever it is, it's making you mighty nervous and paranoid. You see ghosts in every thread, and no longer contribute positively anywhere. It's a damn shame, because it used to be fun reading your posts. Now they are just tiring to read and full of useless "investigative" drivel.
