Anyone know why I am getting this:

not capable masternode: Could not connect to xx.xxx.xxx.xx:9999

I'm having the same issue, asked several times too.   Embarrassed

Can anybody help?

Yes, anyone please help us? I wasn't able to set up a DASH MN because of this also  Cheesy

you need port 9999 to be opened you can check here: canyouseeme.org

also you need this in your config file:

Code:
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=MAKEUPYOUROWNUSERNAME
rpcpassword=MAKEUPYOUROWNPASSWORD
rpcport=anything you like above 1024
server=1
daemon=1
listen=0
gen=0
staking=0
port=9999
masternode=1
masternodeaddr=YOUR IP:9999
masternodeprivkey=YOUR KEY

if you do not know how to open port, download Bitcomet  and follow this this photo http://wiki.bitcomet.com/_detail/nat_01.png?id=add_port_mapping_in_nat_router , then close bitcomet

Hi sologap!

You helps a lot for the other users, that is good, good community.

BTW: I shut down my masternodes. I think 0.6666 reward is very low amount (for me), I think these way is not profitable to run a masternode.

What is your opinion?

My last post on your Forum. Good Luck To YOU.

Awesome tech and Dev !!

Be sure to not get tunnel Vision. XBS = Bitstake is about to make history in a day or 2. It will be opening up an exchange for remittance (money transfers) and P2P lending. They have a platform with their own built in wallet and coin (XBS). The remittance market is going nuts and it is the reason Bitcoin cannot be price controlled anymore by the central bank because they do not have 100% control over the poor of the world. The poor are turning to bitcoin to transfer money money more and more. The global remittance market = $340Billion annually.

Do your research and do not be surprised if XBS is the #1 volume coin for the foreseeable future. Simply, the remittance market they are going after is $21 billion and they have "zero" competition.

http://www.digitaljournal.com/pr/2511228

follow them on twitter:
https://twitter.com/BitStake

Also, send the dev an email and you can get on the slack channel. They put out the information there RT and You can chat with the CEO (some times).

GLTY and happy trading.

I'm also a bit nervous that the dev team is a bit anonymous.  Especially since the top several wallets bought up a ton of it just before the price jump. Any day the dev could dump and move on.  Nothing against crave, it clearly has some great opportunities.  Just be careful what you invest.

2. How much for a masternode?

3. what are the advantages of a masternode?

4. Where do you guys see this in terms of price in 6 months?

5. Many people claim this is a pump and dump...explain to me how this isnt.

There was a pump and even a dump but the coin is so strong that it seems to be holding up against it.

Very nice!  But how are you running 5 on one pc?  I have 1 running on my Windows 7 pc, and want to set up another 2 on the same pc.  I used these directions below for the one that's currently running now:

Start up and sync your wallet.
Open debug console, type: masternode genkey
Copy output key into a text file to be used later
Then, in debug console type: getaccountaddress 0
Copy output address into a text file to be used later
Send 500 CRAVE to address output above, no more, no less.  Exactly 500.
Close Wallet
Create/Edit crave.conf:
Code:
maxconnections=100
rpcuser=solo
rpcpassword=user
rpcport=9999
gen=0
server=1
daemon=1
reservebalance=9999999
masternodeaddr=YOUR_IP:9999
masternode=1
masternodeprivkey=KEY GENERATED BY COMMAND
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1

Save
Wait  15 blocks (see confirmations from wallet you sent 500 CRAVE)
To start masternode wallet, open debug console and type: masternode start

Technically Bitcoin is a fork and Bitcoin Cash is the original blockchain.When the hard fork occurred, people had access to the same amount of coins on Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.- NIST

When you go to cmd  and type ipconfig does the IPv4 address match what the canyouseeme.org IP has for you? If so your router is screwing it up and you need to create a DMZ in your router to allow you to use the IP from canyouseeme instead of the router IP.

I own a DASH Masternode.... And you should too.
