First Global Credit 20 BTC Trading Competition

First Global Credit are offering CoinTelegraph readers a chance to taste the international trader lifestyle, by competing to win a grand prize of a funded trading account with 20 BTC of trading power.

Allowing users to trade international markets by using their bitcoins as collateral for the trades, First Global Credit offers the chance to profit both from day-trading these 50 different stock options, and also from the changing exchange price of Bitcoin.

What's on offer - Competitors take part in the free competition using a paper trading account loaded with 100 virtual bitcoins. The user with the highest profits on this virtual account by the closing date will then be awarded a live trading account loaded with 20 BTC of power.

How to enter - Head over to First Global Credit ( https://www.firstglobalcredit.com/ ) and open a new account. When the competition starts, you'll find a competition tab appears in your FGC trading account window. Use this paper trading account to begin playing the international markets, and begin making a profit!

The competition begins on March 23 and closes a month later, with daily leader boards getting posted up on the First Global Credit Facebook page, to give you a chance to track your opposition and see how the other players are doing.

You win 20bitcoin and will be able to withdraw them as they are in your trading account which is all the more reason to join the competition and try take that lovely 20 bitcoin prize  Cheesy

Question op i will be joining this have you got any ideas how many other people will be joining i am obviously looking for ball park figure?

Does the lucky winner have to do a certain amount of trading before they are able to withdraw winnings from the 20btc not that i would but would be good to know.?

It is not possible to withdraw 20BTC right?

I thought it only gives the trading power of 20 BTC, which will increase as you make profit. And I think, we can withdraw the profit.

Yes you are right i read threw again and this time paid attention to the trading power and actually understood what that meant, kind of like the small print ay, cheers for pointing that out i did imagine there would be some kind of trade threw/play threw of the funds.

We can safely say though it is worth giving it a go be nice having some decent ammo behind some trades never been able to trade with over 1.8btc lol

If I win do I need to produce all these?

Verify Your Account (Live trading account)
Log into either Paper Trading Service and go to the Account Settings tab and select Verify Account from the left hand menu. You will need a scan of a photo identification and a scan of a proof of address document to complete this process.

A passport, photo driver’s license or national ID card are all acceptable as photo identification. A utility bill or bank statement issued in the last 3 months are all acceptable for proof of address. Electronic statements or pdfs are not accepted.

You are correct, the winner doesn't get 20 BTC on their hands. What they get is a trading account loaded with sufficient margin to trade the value of 20 bitcoins. Or at this moment about $5,000. As soon as you make some profit off that $5,000 you could remove some or all of it.

As of last evening there were about 700 people registered for the competition though not all of them have placed trades at this time.

I am on it. Smiley

But, it is difficult that I thought. 50BTC total profit for top 10 is just wow. Would be hard for me to get there. Are there any consolation prizes? And do I need to verify info if I won?

People do not have to verify if they win, though it might be nice to know who they are so we can write articles about who they are and how great they are.
They only have to verify if they are putting their own bitcoins into an account.

When you next visit the login page, select ‘Competition Account’ from the pull down menu. When you login, select the deposit tab and you will see the message indicating that you have 100 synthetic bitcoins to trade with. And remember, 5 times leveraging is allowed meaning you have the value of 500 Bitcoin to trade.
