There is a guy here who claims he has software monitoring all of Satoshi's suspected wallets. He says it will automatically alert him if any of them are used, but they never have until now. There was movement from some very old addresses a few months ago, but nobody was certain who they belonged to. All that was certain was they were an early miners addresses.

This is a very unlikely scenario, he after all created it and was more than aware what to do and what not to do,. It is intriguing though that his wallets have remained untouched for all this time that does make you wonder is he alive 

Unless he was already rich beyond belief them Bitcoin would have been touched maybe not masses of them but enough to buy his first/second home without mortgage etc i can't see him just watching them lol

Either way i hope where ever he is he is ok and shows his face before creating bitcoin 2

It's pretty insane to think that there are millions of BTC stored in his wallet and after all this time they haven't moved at all. I wonder if satoshi is even alive or if he is holding forever.

This is so odd though obviously it never really cost anything at the time but unless you fell of the side of the planet you would have know bitcoin was rising and you would at least cash some in for the essentials of life. Who knows there could be loads of reasons why they have not touched them but i hope it is not the obvious 2 death or lost private keys that would be crappy wouldn't it...

I doubt he is dead, and I also doubt he has lost his keys... He will probably do something spectacular with his stash when time comes.

There would be much wailing and gnashing of teeth if any of those coins moved. A bit silly, but everyone seems to enjoy a good panic.

If I'd been Satoshi, I would've gotten those coins circulating a long time ago or proven them to be dead. The longer they sit still, the greater the squealing if they did move.

This is so odd though obviously it never really cost anything at the time but unless you fell of the side of the planet you would have know bitcoin was rising and you would at least cash some in for the essentials of life. We know which addresses contain coins that he definitely mined from day one, but he probably continued mining for as long as possible. If he was still mining after a year or two we would have no way to tell those were his coins. He might never have stopped mining and kept selling coins mined after a year to buy the latest equipment on the market. For all we know he could own a big bitcoin mine and have no need to sell his early coins because he's got plenty of coins mined this year to sell.

LOL pretty sure Satoshi isn't the NSA, btw the last anyone heard of satoshi (not counting Dorian comment) is when Gavin said he was going to talk to the CIA. Pretty sure Satoshi wouldn't have been concerned if he was the NSA.

Not exactly, he could have been more concerned about changing the future than money, but it is very rare to find someone who essentially could have been a billionaire put advancement in front of that.

He was concerned about bringing the world this technology i have read some of his posts but that does not mean he would not use and spend some of his inventions profits, he put all the work into it so unless he was already filthy rich he would defiantly spend some imho.

Everyone is different though aren’t they but it does seem very suspicious that they are untouched, he is either saving but for what? He is dead, or he lost the keys.

To me only chance it is 1 or 2 please jump in if you have other opinions....

China knew there was a plan to use Bitcoin against them because Bitcoin grew from the seed of an idea encoded in the Kush handed out at a free concert by the NSA in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. The Chinese Embassy on Geary Blvd in SF captured Ross Ulbricht in a library a couple of years before the FED captured him in the same library. Ross couldn't take the San Francisco steamed pork bun/fried rice torture for very long so he revealed the secret plan of the NSA to bring China to her knees. Ross knew about the plan because he was always an agent of the NSA on loan from the CIA. His trial was a show to remove him from the public eye. As soon as the media attention dies down Ross will be released and sent to China where he will be an assistant manager at one of the Super Walmart staging sites for the upcoming invasion.

In those days after Satoshi heard about Gavin being approached by the CIA .....there were no mixer services...so the coins had to stay where they were.

I still think Satoshi lost the private keys for those coins and he is currently busy inventing a NEW way to solve the public/private key pairing to undone the monster he created.
