Nice. We got a little jump going there. I don't know if it will continue, would be nice ... but I'm not really convinced.

Yh, too early too tell - some folks hedging to $269 on Finex I noticed.

Looks like it's sort of correcting atm

It's something, but honestly there was such low volume and not much on the books - it didn't take much to make it go up.

Better than down, though!!

Cheers for checking the orderbooks bro. We all knew it would do something go high or go low  Roll Eyes

I would have to call breaching $273 as "something" - right now seems to be struggling at $264

I think it's been such a low volume weekend because nobody's sure what it's going to do. I'm still not sure even when we get a small pump or a small dump. Sometime's we go sideways for weeks.

Expect more sideways action in the days to come. Nothing has changed fundamentally, no need to get excited just because price added $10. We are not there yet.

We all been here with you bro : )  sideways, waiting to see what happens - always fun!

Looks like it's currently holding $269 so at least up $9/BTC for the day - think we need to see it go $285 to call this a correction?

Not much in the news;

A kid bitcoin early adopter has just been backed up by BoostVC   http://www.coindesk.com/boost-vc-bitcoin-bitproof-ownership/

He has a great idea though!

There wasnt much news when we slipped down either, except those deep web coins that got stolen, but that never was a real threat imho.
The fact is that there is an increasing number of bitcoin related projects recently, and people are getting alot of money involved, its just a matter
of time when this will reflect on price, and with the halving getting closer ... i dont know, by some logic we are supposed to tank atleast ~15-20%

cheers

People excited for the end of the weekend/month, it's payday?  Or after the equinox eclipse they're sure the world isn't going to end?  Maybe a rally around the difficulty dropping.

Any jump is a good sign that might indicate a possible breakout even though we need to observe a little bit longer to establish a positive trend. But nevertheless, in bitcoin anything is always possible and i hope finally we have seen the worse. probably right now the up trend will continue due to strong buying support.

jumps seem to be just warning signs to either buy or sell very soon. then wait it out, and get back in

Probably a small uptrend towards the weekend, then a correction in sunday followed by continued uptrend next week.

From CCN folks:

Also, I noticed some people getting excited over Nasdaq / Noble for BTC, I'm not convinced this will increase BTC index immediately, interesting nonetheless

Hacks and nothing more. I don't think there's anything to push the price up any further

Looks like we are in sort of a neutral zone, any news could push the price above 300 pretty easy right now.

Expect the sideways trend to last much longer. Next month or two should look similar. It is the moment when the faith of 'investors' is put under a real test.
