I can do a lower price for quantities of the 5970 only fan 3 for $50 or about 8 btc

We have both.  We charge $3 more for the small clip fan.   The small clip fan works in both, the large clip fan works in 5970's but not in everything else.  Some 5870's seem to take the small one, some don't.

They are variable speed and almost never draw 12w.
