I have btc but never had to buy bitcoins.  I get bitcoins because i play poker at certain sites that allow you to cashout in bitcoin.  Thus if i deposit another method, they allow me to withdraw bitcoin.


But if i wanted to buy a lot of bitcoin... say at least 20 bitcoin... what would be the best method?  Coinbase and circle the limits are very small right where you have to wait at least 1 month?  Even if so, you could only buy 3k max worth of bitcoin?  I also wouldn't want to pay a premium for bitcoin and want to buy bitcoin at the current price.

What is the most common form of payment on localbitcoins?  Many are reversible.

you can use your debit card, with your bank account , like an exchange, i think they allow wire transfer and sepa, juust do not use paypal....

many exchnage does have a monthly limit if your account isn't verified, but if your account is authenticated you can buy as many as you want

to tell you the truth the best way to buy BTC is to know someone here on this forum with a nice trust reputation and contact with him, there is lot of them who sell BTC and you will have not fees ;)

There are many sellers selling upto 10 btc and you could just buy 20 btc from them. However for an amount >50 BTC, an exchange is the best place to go.

circle might be better imo, coinbase tends to track how users spend their coins, and with a purchase as big as this, they might send a nice little email to ask you everything about why you need this much in bitcoin, and lock your transaction until you answer it. also, coinbase is limited to use in the USA.

Found a site for you their RESERVE in bitcoins is 57.79 BTC.  I have dealt with and first one was a small amount and took less than 30 minutes. The last one was larger so they send it within 24 hours.

i can suggest you to contact a big miners privately, maybe via bitcointalk, and set up a trade with him, it will result in a very anon transaction and remove all the issues about exchange and everything, he an also sell them at a discout price, if the amount is really be, i would try for sure this way, it seems uncommon but can offer some advantages over the standard ways

I am of the opinion that btc-e.com will be the best option for you OP.

AFAIK, you need to verify your accounts on the exchangers in order to be able to make a deposit from your bank and exchange bitcoin with fiat. so you will need 10 bank accounts also to verify all those accounts.

You'd rather prefer localbitcoin once you realize you can't negotiate on exchanges sites. Those users in the localbitcoin may simply consider your haggle if you are good with it :) haggling is a skill to learn anyway so try your best. you can but on sites but definitely their prices are much higher than the users you can meet at localbitcoins.

the best way of buying bitcoin which makes it super easy is using a service like Coinbase or Circle to buy, you can also always buy it from exchangers but all of these will require you to verify your account first.

and remember to withdraw your bitcoin from their website, because i see you are gambling with it and services like Coinbase which is US based will ban your account for that unless you withdraw to another wallet and gamble with that.

Even I would like suggest localbitcoins.com Because you can buy the very easily without any fear because escrow will hold the fund for both the side. OP need to check the best trader who is offering best price according to your expectation.

Your best bet is to buy Bitcoin from a regulated exchange. Coinbase, Bitfinex, Gatecoin, Kraken, things like that.

For example, I use itbit, but I am in the U.S.  I don't know if I would use it otherwise.

First localbitcoins.com is a great source for buying coin up until you're spending more than $9500 or so..spending more than this it becomes much more economically viable to deal with an exchange or reputable company that caters towards OTC purchases - generally reserving their services for these very situations - those interested in spending $50k-100k and up. Using localbitcoins, particularly in person, regardless of where you meet for anything above $6-9k is just not smart. That's too much money to meet someone you haven't transacted with prior, regardless of their feedback percentage and/or how public the place you're meeting is..using this method for a couple grand worth of coin is absolutely fine though, I've done it many many times buying and selling.

Safety measures outside from escrow- you should have some self education on how spot counterfeit money as well w. bringing a pen test, or something similar.

Yes the the localbitcoins are better than any other way.  Some localbitcoins can cater up-to $100k and above and its daily.  Big trading company's can even cater all your cash to btc or one way of the other.  And most of this trades are made and witnessed personally especially for huge amount otherwise you will have to do multiple trade until completed.

Have a look also at the currency exchange section of this forum. In there there are quite a few sellers which do daily high amount of selling and buying bitcoin, and many of them are pretty trusted as they are doing this from long time. Some of them even have skype (I don't recommend that communication) best is with replying to their threads or PM-s in this forum. You may buy a large amount here, but not up to 100.000 USD in one single transaction.

I think best way to buy a lots of bitcoins when theres no coming event for bitcoin or bitcoin is very cheap but we dont know when the price come low.. it needs a patience.. but for now i think this is the best time right now to buy because you can not buy with a cheap price when block halving started to be done..

Yes. And better to be late than sorry. I'd like to buy bitcoin but I'm lack out of funds to do so localbitcoins is good for a good transaction. Although if OP get lucky he could also try his luck to buy all in as in poker just saying the changing of bitcoin is not the normal state. We could get some big profits if we have a large amount to buy.

For me the best way to buy a lot of bitcoins is trade wit altcoins, I buy altcoins which are at more lower and which will have a potential to increase more higher and when the price of it increase then I sell them for bitcoin, like buying bitcoin and at that time I feel more happy when I go to buy more bitcoins.

This doesn't make any sense. To have an altcoin, you're gonna be needing bitcoins to buy them. I've never seen a wallet website that allows you to buy altcoins directly. Unless you know someone personally and you used fiat/other type of funds to buy an alt coin.

Seems a lot of people are using paxful on here since it allows for paypal trades among it's membership and they have a system similar to localbitcoins where there is a member review rating system in place.
