The CyberPay project is meant to give CyberCoin a purpose. We target a broad user base and with the fair distribution in place, the time has come to give merchants and consumers an opportunity to use CyberCoin for online payments. Since anonymous payments are important to our user base, ANON features will be developed.

The second part is to reach out to merchants. For this we will target several payment providers. With a working payment gateway step two comes into effect where we will show merchants CyberCoin is the crypto coin of the future.
With fancy presentation materials, a promotion team will expand our merchant base.

and as for the next take over who knows ;) to be fair though it's not about taking over, for me its about helping, If I am able to help recoup some of the losses people have suffered because of arse hole devs then I will try and kickstart the coin for them.

Market and Wallet systems are completely separate ... the markets already been deleted at this point.  Not as easy to bring it back online as the wallet unfortunately..

Well its been a busy day behind the scenes for us today, lots of talking about what we should do with the wallet.

As you will no doubt be aware the original dev had added some code that sent 0.5% of block rewards to what he called a "community fund".

We didn't like that and have had some heated discussions about what to do about it.

Both arguments for keeping it and removing it had merits so in the end it was decided that it would stay but be reduced to just 0.0005% we have of coarse altered the address to one that we control, and any and all funds will be used to forward this coin, and the address made public for transparency purposes.

The new wallet will have an updated coin image, as well as some out of wallet links to a new website, block explorer, gaming etc etc

The wallet is going through testing at present, so there is still time should any of you want to have anything added.

These changes and in particular the block donation % and address changes will require a hardfork due to the checks the old dev had put into the code, we will give plenty of notice about the hardfork, and Im sure it will go as smoothly as when we had to hardfork litedoge.

Remember this is not our coin it is your coin, and your views are important as to what we do from here on in.....

Now is most definitely the time to buy into this coin, and I see it hitting 3 figures sooner rather than later...

My wallet has a the old logo, am i on a fork?

im just leaving everything alone wallet is staking its mofo ass off like it has since day one nothing wrong with the coin at all just the way it is but hey LETS TAKE IT OVER its cool though do whatever it takes.

Edit:Sooo I fail to see a problem and a reason for a takeover just my opinion

The wallet does stake quite well.  The reason that I believe that the takeover is occurring is because:

1. The dev disappeared
2. Community interest has mostly disappeared because of lack of updates from the dev
3. Nothing has been going on with the coin as a result of #1 and it was getting delisted from all of the excahnges due to low volume because of #2
4. The dev put code in the wallet that would give him a % of every stake without disclosing it to the community, which was a very dishonest and bad move.

Hope this helps you understand why people thought that the takeover was/is necessary and are taking action.

ok lets break it down here if I can

Humans tend to do that however if the coin is working like its supposed to(It is) wtf are they supposed to be available 24/7? get real who cares if dev took a hike for awhile as long as the chain is moving and staking I fail to see a problem let the dev enjoy his earned bitcoin

4. The dev put code in the wallet that would give him a % of every stake without disclosing it to the community, He shoold have maybe but I dont see this as a condemedation and any reason to sabatoge him he uses crap code plain and simple go from there

The problem with him disappearing isn't that he hasn't been around for a bit.  His last post was April 16th, more than 3 1/2 months ago and certainly more than a bit.  If he wanted to keep working on the coin that would be great, but it seems like he gave up on the coin and cashed out.  I for one liked what he was doing with the coin and he was about to introduce masternodes, but then stopped posting.  Maybe the code didn't work as he had planned for the masternodes and that is why he disappeared.  That once again would have been fine if he had updated the community about what was happening but he didn't and then went dark.

I agree about the fact that the coin works well and stakes well, but typically when a dev abandons their coin, things eventually die out and everyone who had the coin either sells for what they can and loses out or holds.  When this happens and no updates occur, the coin will eventually get delisted from all exchanges.  How is a community that believes in  a coin when this is about to happen respond to this?  They have 2 options: Do nothing and let the coin die or do something about it.

It seems to me that the community members that are taking over the coin are tying to do something about it so that the coin does not die (I consider no exchanges + dev being MIA for an extended period of time(or indefinitely) with no notice to the community as being dead)  Once the is no longer listed then this coin would be all but dead.  That is why I believe that the community members involved in the takeover are doing what they are.  It is a rational move.  If the dev wants to come on here and say that he is still around and will still be involved in the coin then that would be great and this would not be necessary, but just because the blockchain is moving and the staking works well is not enough to keep this coin alive.

Great, Harry asked me to update the website and I did. Some new sections has been added.

An update would be nice yes however Like I have been stating the coin just works that being said I suppose anyone here could do whatever they like.There has been so much Takeover this and takeover that  that I am very confused as who the real dev is.Anyway the coin is self sufficient.I'm thinking about selling off some of my mining Equipment and ill take any type of crypto measured against the bitcoin price vs US Dollar.There needs to be more websites around that will take ANY crypto.That would add value to ANY crypto.Cryptos were created to be used as a means of barter or money not just traded to make money and pump and dump.This science is still in its infancy so it will take patience.I am pretty damn good at creating websites forums etc etc but Im 54 years old now and just lost interest in doing that.I9 have grown lazy in my old age.  :P

I believe that CC was on Ce-Cex but was taken down due to lack of volume.I think that Blacksmith at yobits is a collector like me.He does not remove to many coins unless viruses or whatnot.Any of these exchanges are going to remove the coin unless there is some sort of volume.That's always going to be a problem with many a crypto.

We need marketing, which is weird. All of us invested in CyberCoin because of the name. It's the best name for a crypto currency, yet it lacks potential.

The name will not work by itself. Good name creates more opportunities, thats it. Any coin needs marketing, and this one is no exception.
People dump for 1 sat just because nobody understands what is the direction this coin is going to. No movement at all.

the coin needs development team to do at least *something*. It is not necessary to make great improvements, but showing some progress and dedication will increase the interest in this coin, as well as activate its community. Community could help the development, but it needs to be leaded by the Dev!

No, your wallet is ok, there looks to be a delay in block generation. Probably not enough wallets staking.
Just keep your wallet as it is, it will sync as soon as new block is found.

The blockchain delay is the smallest of the problems of this coin... The chain actually works brilliantly, no tech problems at all.

EDIT: it looks like while I was writing this, new blocks were found and the chain moved :)
Your wallet should be in sync now. Check the last block - it should be not less than 237670.

Thanks I waited and the sync is done. I tried to sent out 1000 cybercoin but it seems it got stuck.
When i do getinfo in the console it shows me: 237670. So this is good.
But did i lose my 1000 cyber?

Definitely not. They are not visible in wallet, but are still on your balance in blockchain. If your 1000 cyber are indeed sent out by the wallet, then they will arrive after some confirmations. It is possible the wallet did not send them yet, as there was no block at the moment. In that case it will automatically re-send them later. As a last resort, if you don't see the transaction after a couple of days, you can do "repairwallet" or "salvagewallet" to get the coins back on your balance (backup wallet.dat before doing that though).

In any case its not the best timing now to send CC coins... Its better to postpone this for a couple of days. I am sure the network will move better. This coin is very well built.

Go to "Settings"->"Options"->"Main", and set "Reserve" to some amount bigger than your balance. Press "Ok".

It will stop staking, and (after all your currently staked coins mature) you can send your steps to exchange and dump them  ;D
