All version available on our bunny-coin site will work in their respective ways without causing any interferance with the chain itself of any kind of normal operations. Source is available to the public for anyone wishing to verify this for themselves as well. The reason for this is actually the voting system has not been addressed so far and will be soon which will cause the updates to be mandatory for anyone wishing to continue to see development on the coin (which this has all been voiced by the bunnycoin community check reddit and such). My donation to see some more things happen with BUN, so I was a little confused when he was asking for a bounty. I suppose it would have been better to have maybe 970 coins and moved the decimal 8 places to the left, then that would have really made a difference, people LOVE decimals and that would really change the value right? </sarc> Just to set the record straight, I am not a bag holder. I had 0 BUN a few months ago. I have since bought over 1B of them and will be buying many more. I'm not looking to retire on BUN investments (or any crypto for that matter), but I am looking to do fun things with it. I love being able to drop a million BUN on someone new to crypto. The look in their virtual eyes when they go from nothing to 1M of something is priceless, it's fun, and in the grand scheme of things it's not much more than pocket change. If BUN increases in value that becomes harder to do. To anyone who is looking to buy an expensive "coin" and flip it on an exchange to make a lot of money... BUN is not for you. In fact there probably aren't any coins for you since I haven't found very many exchanges that would be able to handle real orders ($100K+) without destabilizing the coin. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong places but if you're in it for the money you should probably stick to forex and stocks. If you're interested in learning about crypto, trading, financial structures, public ledgers etc... or if you're interested in trying to add some value to "blockchain" technologies or maybe you're just looking to have some fun, then BUN is your coin. If my wallet, or computer, crashed then bunnycoin would get stuck until I got back up and running again. Hash rate can be erratic due to the difficulty re-target time and miners running up the difficulty then leaving. Any amount of hash is helpful to the BUN network. Most miners use pools and most pools can not solve the charity blocks that happen every 60 blocks. If no one is solo mining then the blockchain can get stuck, even with a high hash rate. I just checked the block explorer. The bunnycoin network hashrate is about 42MH/s, your hashrate is 12MH/s. So your hashrate is enough to affect the network although not too high. But it would only be possible if the blockchain is working and not forked. The original devs have not been active until recently, after the price increase. There appears to be no updates to the wallet planned that I have heard of. Adding the nodes to the conf file is just the way it has to be done on this type of coin and firewalls need to let traffic through for any wallet to work. You don't have to allow incoming connections but outgoing is a must. Some computers are behind routers that will block outgoing connections and they must be opened in order for a wallet to work. This may not be your case. |
