In regards to a web player - this is not something we have planned to set in motion. We wanted to reach users purely as a mobile application.


It's hard to say - we are currently waiting for our bank account to go through. Will have it in Google Play as soon as possible though.


You can check the prize amounts that users receive on the /leaderboard page of the website. You will also be able to find prize distribution percentages on the /about page.

The prizes will go up as well as the amount of users who are eglible for prizes once the site grows bigger.

I like more the game for win bitcoin to smartphone (i'm a old player of flappy) . First you add to google playstore (i install only app to app store), the app work with android simulator like bluestack or other for testing?

In the app it will not allow me to get bonus time for offers or downloads every time I click on the offer or download it does nothing. If I click on the install button under the menu it says access denied. Any help?

As you say, once the site grows bigger so will the amount of prizes we pay out. Both in size and amount of paid positions.


Oh thank you for reaching out about this! We are not permitted to download apps or complete offers ourselves so we have been unable to test this feature properly. I will look into this now and come up with a patch for it.

Apparently, there were a bug in the payout schedule but it has been fixed now. Payouts and account resets will resume midnight at server time.

On the bright side, our app is now available through Google Play.

It is currently unlimited for both automate and upgrade. The only limits is to what you can unlock.

It made sense to have them unlimited since there's a de-facto limit of what you can possibly achieve within 24 hours :)

Could i also know how the reset of ingame balance works? Does it ever reset and at what time (like only when you received the rank 1 reward)? I did notice that i got both my (low) reward prize paid out AND kept my ingame balance (but lost all ugprades as should happen).

Can you explain the second part of your message a bit more clearly? You lost all of your upgrades when the server did a reset last night, but it did not reset your in-game balance to 0?

The app is nice but it's so laggy after you unlock a few methods or you automate them(at least for me on a galaxy s5 mini).

Definetely a must! I haven't experienced this issue myself but I will look into it today.

Today I will release a performance improvement. It will however not require you to update the app itself - it's a server sided improvement. This should help with the lagging a bit.

Anyway yesterday it was fine and the login issue started after the last update.

Does it happen when you press "Logout" in the menu or when you hit the "back key" on the phone?

It happened after i downloaded the last update.
Today i deleted and reinstalled it, logged in and then i used the back button to exit the app but it logged me out and i got again the error.

Will try to login and logout manually.

So...if i use "logou" from the menu everything is fine.
If i use "back key" or i close the app from the "app manager" i get the error.

Yes I replicated the issue on my phone just now. I will release an update later today for the app which solves this issue. Just got to eat some breakfast - then I will begin working on it immediately.

So todays update will bring:
* (Hopefully) improved performance and reduced lag on lower end phones
* Back-button logout issue
(* If I have time - a display of your current rank in the menu bar)
(* If I have time - your current rank displayed in the dashboard on the site)

can't log in. It says that there is a new version, but in google play is not and update, and if i reinstal it, the message remains

The login/logout issue has now been fixed and app should be properly working again.
Furthermore, your current rank now displays next to your balance.

The first reset it left me with all my balance from the previous day (the one i talked about in quote), the next reset i had about 10,000th of the previous balance (some 190 million on the day before, 19k after reset), didn't see what today reset brought yet (and can't remember my balance from yesterday anyway).

Just to be sure: what is supposed to happen with balance upon daily reset? If nothing carries over from the previous day, we would constantly be stuck with the same 24/7 active tapping people to win first 3 ranks.

In regards to the resettting of stats. I will take a closer look at what is happening and get it functioning properly. It is meant to completely wipe your stats.

And in regards to nothing carrying over from the previous day. I am currently toying with the idea of BitVestors.

You will be able to gain some BitVestors by doing a soft reset of your stats regularly, and the amount of BitVestors that you gain depends on how much progress you've made prior to the reset. BitVestors will carry over from day to day and only get reset every Monday. BitVestors will give you a percentage increase to your profits based on how many you got. This will introduce a whole new strategy I call The Long Game, where you are able to disregard prizes today in order to try and win higher prizes tomorrow and the rest of the week.

However, you guys are more than welcome to come up with suggestions of your own on how to improve the gameplay :)

And the ranking on the app is not correct. In the app I am the 11th, but in the web 14th. Sorry for the disturbances xD

Was hit by lagging issues all day on my Nexus 4 device, yesterday.

Trying to login via website... doesn't work today.

Pretty sure missed the payout of yesterday as well and website keeps saying NaN or none BTC amount as reward since yesterday.

Project already dying so soon? Oo

Edit: App still accepts logins...  and shows the continued balance from yesterday (on a side-note: it did correctly reset my balance day before yesterday to yesterday), seems like we doing 2 days in a row without reset this time. Rank displayed in app is still incorrect too.

UPDATE

We have updated the app to 0.0.8 and fixed a couple of things.
* The login/logout issue should be completely done with now.
* The 25% bonus now opens in your browser temporarily until we get it working in-game.
* The payout mechanics is now working properly again. Apparently, we were pinging the FaucetBox API a bit too much but this has been greatly reduced by now.
* Rank is now displaying your correct rank :)

Oh I see the app being laggy on some devices.

I am currently working on a solution which will decrease lag a whole lot at the expense of real time updating between the site and the app.

I began my studies this Monday and will have very limited time during this week. This is a full-time study and leaves me little room to work 24/7 as I used to do. On the bright side, I am confident that I know where the lagging issue lies (within the AdMob SDK) and will be able to fix it as soon as I have an open hour or two. Furthermore, I received my Macbook and will be able to work out the iOS app as well at latest this weekend.

The on-site balance will also be topped up during the weekend or as soon as we have the next update fixing the lag and with an iOS release ready.

If it did, that would be stupid, as even with all (smart)phones of the world you wouldnt be able to mine even a single bitcoin in less than over 10k years, from what a study found out.

According to MyBitMine (Michael the admin) not even cpu-mining via browser (the said St. Bernard Lake feature of MBM), yields anything to compensate the expenses given with 18 satoshis per hour. You can see this for yourself by going to minergate and trying web-mining there (needs an account to accumulate any crypto coins), its the same as the api used on MyBitMine.

The lag is really unbearable.....for each click on my phone, it take at least 2 seconds to reflect on the webpage...
however i saw some people clicking really really fast.... :P

UPDATE

Updated the app to remove the lag from last update. Apologies for the late fix but some some issues arose and prevented me from working on this application.

The app now features interstitial ads instead of the banner to prevent accidental clicking while typing.
Furthermore, the lag from last update has been completely reduced. Turns out it was due to the rank display not being rendered properly. I have removed it for now and will re-introduce it at a later stage. For now, check your rank on the website instead of in-game.

On an ending note, I do not have time to properly manage the update timing, so the game will tell you to update without the update being available in Google Play. Please wait a few hours and it should be redeemable. The iOS application will come out later this week or during the weekend. Anyone following the MyBitMine thread will understand what is holding us up.

Updated the app again. Pretty sure we managed to completely reduce the lag that some users have been experiencing. Please let us know if YOU still have any lag?

New update for me does not display how many coins I have or what I am earning or what everything costs. Was really hoping to play this again but with lagging and now this in will try again maybe in a week or so again and see if things have been fixed.

After you update 2 september I can no longer see how many BTC I have or buy any upgrade, unlock anything. I can click and I can see I get BTC for it on the webside, but I can not buy anything in the game nor see how many BTC I have.

seems like only the user "panzerspy" found a way to upgrade/unlock ....

I guess that was only for one day.. Application was fully functional when I first installed. I was able to unlock and upgrade every level possible but now it's all gone.

Any news about the ios version?

Tried the game! :) Any idea how to buy the upgrades? It seems like you can only claim from the 'Shitty Faucet' for me... :P The name is a little offensive though, maybe change it to Tiny Faucet or something ^^ Also, the balance does not show on the app itself, and loads quite slow to startup as well.

AS said before not one can see the balance or buy anything.

This project is being discontinued for now.

We basically just do not have time at this stage to work on the project. However, if anyone else is interested in keeping it alive and is familiar with Javascript - then feel free to reach out.

There's a big chance that we will revive the project at a later time though.

I saw this thread and I'm like, "another app for mobile to win bitcoins, yey! Then at the end of the thread a notice that this will be continued. So sad I haven'  tried it yet. I hope a lot more devs make smartphone games with bitcoins. A lot will benefit from it.
