Title: Digital Credits : Proof of Burn Discussion Thread | burns canceled do to attacks
Post by: intristin on November 18, 2015, 06:41:29 PM
This thread is for discussion and suggestions of our burns, To discuss development of Digital Credits and to learn more about us please use our announcement thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1234336.0

FLOZ canceled!, Please see second post for details!

Overview :

Digital Credits is distributed with the PoW and PoS methods, but that is not the only way to get credits. Digital Credits is also a Proof of Burn Coin. So what is Proof of Burn? Each month we select a dead altcoin with no active development and offer a trade of that coin for Digital Credits at fair market rate. All the coins we buy up we then destroy by burning them. This makes sure the coins will never be traded again, they are gone forever. But you Get Digital Credits as a reward. We will be hosting Block Explorers and multiple Nodes to insure the selected coins stay alive during the entire process. Some are Proof of Work coins while others are PoS coin, so you will be able to both mine and stake the coins during the 30 day process and then burn them off at the end. You also have the option of just buying them up on the exchanges and burning them right away. The choice is yours. The sell price set will be slightly above market rate in order to encourage burning.

Burn Fund :

200 million credits have been created for the purpose of burning other coins, as we have said before we will divert credits from this fund to use for other purposes if supported by the community. Recently we held a public vote on our site and it was agreed to divert 1 million credits to Yobit for giveaway in their Faucet. These credits are being given away 5 at a time every hour to Yobit Users. This was done to increase trade volume and get more people involved in Digital Credits. If you want a piece of this giveaway, go to Yobit and take it. The rest of the credits are currently sitting in cold storage.

Your Suggestions Welcome :

This thread was also created to brainstorm with you the community on our future burn targets. Burn will last 30 days which will allow you time to mine the targets and gather up all your coins to burn. We have a few ideas of our own but I wanted to invite all of you to submit suggestions on which coins you think we should target. Please remember to include a reason why you think your suggested coin is ripe for burning. You can post your suggestion in this thread or send it to me via a private message if you prefer. Thank you!

Some things to keep in mind when suggesting a coin:

1. Active nodes are important, there is no reason to bring completely dead coins back to life just to burn them.
2. We will not burn coins under active development no matter how dead they may seem.
3. Little to no trade volume, this rule is flexible if a coins trade volume is clearly pumping and dumping scams. (under 0.2 BTC weekly Average of normal volume)
4. Little to no Hash rate. (Meaning dead pools, no pools, slow transaction time do to little or slow block generation, hard to sync wallets, no block explorers)

Please make your suggestions below or ask any questions that you may have.

Be sure to visit our website here : http://dcredits.com/

Due to block chain syncing problems with one of the coins we planned to target for our first burn we will only be burning 2 coins this coming month. There simply isn't enough time to select a new candidate with all the back-end work that needs to be done to support the burns. We may burn it in the future however. Block Explorers, and multiple nodes have been set up to ensure there are no issues during the burn process. We will also be hosting windows wallet downloads for both burn targets. Check back here Monday for complete details on our two remaining burn targets.

Been looking at this coin for some time and I`m a big interested in it's development. If it's being burned thats even better, the price will rise probably and good for investment right now.

Sorry guys, I had an unexpected guest for Thanks Giving this year and large amounts of alcohol were consumed. I'm back now, gonna brew up some coffee and get my day started. Block Explorers for the two burn targets will be finished today, nodes are allready up, so more details will come by the end today.  The burns start in less then 48 hours. ;D Do to the fact we dropped one of the targets we will only be burning two coins, One is a PoW coin, The other is a PoS coin. Both are listed only on YoBit and are dirt cheap.

So what you're saying is that you've bought up the cheapest coins, and when you announce the coins you will post sell orders for double what you paid and hope some suckers buy from you? Sounds legit...

Why limited to only 2 coins?

We target coins for 30 day burns, there will be new targets every month until the burn fund is depleted. Don't worry, we plan to target as many as we can to rescue as many bag holders of various shitcoins as possible. These burns will go on for years, our burn fund is large. Doing it a few coins at a time insures the value of Digital Credits remains stable as the userbase grows.

I have hundreds of confirms, my transactions show on the deposit page, my transactions show in the explorer, I already sent a ticket and just asked in chat BUT my SLFI is not clearing into my balance over at BTCPool.  Don't know what else to do at this point.

We have removed Selfie coin from this burn due to the fact the block chain stopped moving and there is some sort of PoS bug that is printing trillions of coins. If you sent Selfiecoin to the exchange your coins are currently floating in limbo, they never reached the exchange. After a few days the coins should just reappear in your wallet due to the lack of confirmations.

That is not good sign and if im not mistaken part of spacoin supply hich will be burned for DGCS will reduce total coin supply for space resulting in shooting up price for space. Thing which is still kind a riddle to me is that what will be the purpose of DGCS.

From what I understand the Yobit guy said that they plan to delist space, since it is the only exchange they trade on I imgaine that would make any remaining space pretty worthless. Below is taken from their chat logs from this morning. Again, we have the funds to burn ALL space!

The burn is now live, have updated the second post with more details!

You can access the burn page directly here : https://btcpool.exchange/Market?pair=SPACE/DGCS

Please note you have until the 30th to Stake Spacecoin before you burn it if you so choose. There is no cap on how many coins we burn so there is no need to rush! Remember, you can also mine Space for a limited time at a low fee here: http://tekyboy.tk/

Many thanks go out to TEKYBOY as our official burn mining partner and BTCPOOL as our official coin burn partner. Thanks for supporting our burns. And thank you to everyone else who supports Digital Credits. Enjoy and good luck.

But wouldn't burning 90% of SPACE make the remaining 10% super valuable, even if it wasn't listed on any exchanges?  I don't know, just trying to wrap my head around this whole burn process.

Good luck with DGCS, I'm holding onto mine!

It's hard to say what the effect would be on remaining Space without an exchange to trade it on, aside from the fact it will become really hard to buy or sell it. Not to mention the pool will be shut down as well after the burn ends. But who knows, someone could come along and fork the coin and bring it back to life. At the end of the day it's up to you what you want to do with your coins. Your not by any means required to burn them.

So it looks like over 20k Spacecoin has been burned allready. I'm kind of surprised that number is so high. Please keep in mind that you have till the 30th of December to burn this coin. Mine it, stake it, and dump it on the last day. That will maximize your profit. We are burning SPACE at many times it's value and that exchange rate will not change. Meanwhile the value of Digital Credits could go up, be smart, maximize your profit.

Well i suppose somebody could post the info about the actual network height so we can have an idea about how many people are staking the coin, anyway it surprises me that the coin got such a sudden pump from nowhere.... i will follow the thread and the coin for curiosity

Sweet, just got a few thousand DGCS from the burn  ;D

I'm trying to withdraw - it says 'waiting for admin approval'  ???

Does the admin really get to decide who is allowed to withdraw and who isn't?

No, you should not need approval to withdraw, I'll pass this along to the exchange guys so they can look into it.

Spacecoin is working fine the way it is. Just needs the dev to return or someone to take it over. A fork will not be necessary.

And anyway i think that the Digital Credits dev could select coins that are still alive but are almost at 1 satoshi hell, but is just what i think so maybe at the end he will no do so. But still, Spacecoin for now got a nice +2.8% value so maybe the burning is doing something i think

Yes, The price is going up, It was expected as people are buying it to stake and burn. Any coin we target in the future will have the same effect. Once the burn ends the buy pressure will most likely go away and the value will drop back down to what it was before. This is our first burn so we will see what happens.

I think that maybe the price will always go up because the sell walls are weak but there isn't any kind of response seems at the end and i think that even when the burn will end nothing will change

As i said in the other thread in regard to Spacecoin,  Investors usually look for coins under active development to invest in. Space was dumped by it's Developer and abandoned. Unless someone comes a long to rescue space it doesn't look very good as a long term investment. We will see what happens after the burn. Right now the only thing pushing up the price is this burn.

I am fine with that to be honest. I'm currently sitting on about 150k space myself which I plan to dump on the last day. Just staking right now and will continue to buy when the price is right. There is still elevated trade volume beyond what I am doing in the Space market, that could also be do to the threat of delisting, who knows. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

For what i know yobit only delists coins if have serious problems on the code, as you can check even by yourself there are coins which last block are old of months, i don't know of which exchange you were talking about spacecoin delisting

Balcksmith made the comment that he will most likely delist both selfi and space do to the burn. He said this around the first day of the burn. I have no idea if he plans to follow through with that. You are right that Yobit rarely delists coins, I was just going on what he said. Below is the direct quote from him.

UPDATE: Over 136,000 SPACE has been burned to date, You have until DEC 30 to burn the rest. Mine it, Stake it, and burn it!  ;D

So until now we burned only 3,4% of all the spacecoins? Last time i checked the block explorer reported 4 million coins still around... I think that maybe 25% would be the max we will do

At this point my question is if you told BlackSmith about the deadline, because most likely he will do the delist at the end of the month or even after 24 hours from the deadline... And now that i think about what about that on the last day the ammount is increased from 0.25 dgcs to just 0.30 to make an incentive for the final?

I plan to send him a full report on the last day. At that point he will do whatever he wants, I have no control of Yobit. I can't change the exchange rate because it would not be fair to those who have allready burned. I have however learned a lot from this first burn, and will make necessary adjustments for the next burn to ensure better burn incentive. If we get 25%, I will be happy, although I would have liked more.

I will also be sending a full report to coinmarketcap on both SPACE and DGCS so the marketcaps and coin supplies can be adjusted.

1. for what i could notice from the link there isn't an exchange for hkc so will be a little hard to find out the value

2. you know the actual difficulty of the pow?

3. intristin maybe will have other plans so we only need to wait and see what he says about

4. maybe at this point intristin should open a suggestion thread and start a vote, so maybe the next burning will get more attention

We will only burn coins on an active exchange with a functioning wallet. I don't care about a block explorer, I can host that myself as well as nodes. But at the end of the day, it has to be listed on an exchange.

Suggestions are more then welcome.  ;D

anyway we are at half of the burning of spacecoin and i think we need to see other coins to burn and if possible see how to fix the actual problem of the price because if goes on can be a little problem (at least let's try to put it back to 100 sat)

1. true but maybe btcpool or yobit could help - i might even spend some of my own money to get it back on an exchange

2. "difficulty" : 1.23594976 - could be mined with cpu in the wallet via "setgenerate true" 187.5HKC / block

3. just a suggestion - community will decide

4. voting would be great

Price is hard to set, we have zigzagged with Space from being worth to burn to being a lose. Proof of burn is a long term investment, not a short term return. A dead coin for an active one, if even at a loss, the choice is up to the holders.

i would also consider a giveaway of some HKC to spark some interest.
let me know what you think.

btw, not sure what you mean - a dead coin can't really have a market value right?  ;)

Look on Yobit, or other exchanges for coins with low value. If a coin is not listed somewhere for trade it is beyond dead. There is no point in burning it.

let's see if they take it on board. :P

1. how many nodes you get with the wallet? it can give an idea about how many hkc could appear on theory

2. let's hope at this point even if i think that yobit admins will have some questions about the coin itself...

The problem with burning coins with no listing on a exchange is we have no indication of it's true value. Even if you get a dead coin listed, we would have to wait a few months to see what the market is willing to pay for it. Otherwise we could not offer more then 1 sat per coin.

1 sat on a live market would be better than a wallet full of coins and no place to trade

I would like to suggest two coins:

PreminePlus: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=673760.0

Twice abandoned by the dev. Fully premined, distributed to more than 1200 entries in five batches. Coin was ninja listed at comkort exchanged, against the dev, who wanted to develop things first. Coin has still active nodes and pretty many users that have some coins, so that could be interesting for growing DGCS user base.

FindCoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=905226.0

That was a fork of earlier FindYouCoin, aiming at getting the community around discovering scam coins. Premined, one of the first coins fully distributed via wallet.
Abandoned by dev. I recently tried to bring to live, without success. I managed however to get the blockexplorer for this coin: http://www.multifaucet.tk/index.php?blockexplorer=FIND

PreminePlus seems that got removed from Poloniex and intristin clearly told that coins without a exchange will not be taken in consideration because would be hard to decide a price for that coin, FindCoin from the other hand have four things that maybe i think intristin would consider

1. Have a 25% POS rate, that would help for better burning
2. Only 127k findcoins are on yobit so is possible that we can get people to sell the coins at a lower price (and anyway the total needed at the moment would be only 13.97BTC against the higher total of spacecoin)
3. The price of findcoin is almost the same of spacecoin, which gives some little help about burning it
4. There is already a blockexplorer which can come in help to see how many coins are active

as for Premine Plus (PMP), you are confusing it with Premine (PMC) its predecessor. PMC was listed on Polo, PMP was only listed on comkort. These are two different coins!

25% Stake rate? You don't think that maybe will not end well after all? I mean if we burn only 1/4 of the total supply of the coin the next year is already restored while now with space we know that is something locked and doesn't change and we are already burning a lot of them...

The coin selected for the January burn was on life support. It only had one very slow node and it took me 3 days to sync it with constant disconnects. The network weight was practically 0. I have now set up several nodes for the target coin and will keep them running during the upcoming burn. I'm basically bringing a coin back from the dead in a attempt to rescue it's holders. We got no less then 7 separate requests, mostly from Hero and above members asking us to burn it. When the burn is over the nodes will come down and the coin will be right back to what it was, on life support. I'm confident our January burn will be very popular among bag holders, perhaps not so much with people trading on the open market as the price is currently inflated. Again burns are optional and people are free to hold onto their bags if they choose.

The burn address for coin allready burned is SaCryptoLifeDotNetBurnAddrXXZ78XsA. Please note burns don't happen in realtime, the guys running the exchange burn them every 3 or 4 days. Again, DO NOT send your  spacecoins to the burn address, you must trade them here to get Digital Credits: https://btcpool.exchange/Market?pair=SPACE/DGCS

To answer your question, a little over 461k space has been traded in for Digital Credits. Not all of these coins have been sent to the burn address yet, but they will.

1. at this point why you don't add even 007coin to the burning process? It is on yobit and at the moment have only one node and the sync is a bit slow, in fact you need a bootstrap for that sometimes

2. How many coins we are going to burn next month? Let's hope more then one because we know what that guy told even if was pointless (i'm no longer telling the nick because otherwise he comes back to spread lies)

3. Anyway seems that space price refuses to go under 20, if you go see there is a gap between 20 and 14 sat, and isn't good after all

Because of the large amount of next months target coin, we are only doing one. We would like to do more then one coin at a time, but again, Our goal first and foremost is to rescue bag holders. If and when the value of DGCS goes up we will be able to burn more coins at the same time.

Sorry I have yet to respond, been busy with Holiday stuff. Let me try to address some concerns real quick.

waiting for the +32 SPACE PoS drops until last minute :P

Good plan, new burn starts on the first. Our new target has a 25% stake rate, will be announced in a few days. Last call for space people, just one short week left.

Again burns are optional and people are free to hold onto their bags if they choose.

hey guys what is the burn address at btcpool.exchange since it is not claimed in block explorer yet. it would be appreciated that atleast DGCS claim that address so we know who else is still holding stash and then i would think we will be in better position to think about space future

i am one of the bagholders and still serious about HKC. could you help to get it on btcpool or yobit?
i'd be willing to give away 1.000.000 coins to attract more people and it is still very easy to mine as well.
best of luck everyone with SPACE - burning it now...

@intrisin

This is an interesting project tied to your DGCS coin.

I am going to join in the SPACE coin burn and see how this project folds out.  If all goes will I will be around to support your coin in more projects.

A real test to the SPACE coin is if it stays on the exchanges after the burn.  it will be interesting to see if the burn has helped stranded bagholders or created a new market for someone.  Either scenario is a win for the DGCS.  It is up to BTCPools to ensure burned coins stay burned.

All the best.

For what i could notice this coin for the first days will maybe get almost the same procedure then Spacecoin, in fact at least 6k coins could maybe end up getting burned in the first 12 hours because of the weak walls they have and the first real buy wall that could be a little challenge will be the actual 291 satoshi, and another thing to notice is that multifaucet other then offer only the blockchain have even a faucet with gives 0.01 FIND every 12 hours, which maybe would not really help at the end but at least is something but is just a theory so we have to see what will happen and if the price of DGCS will not suffer a lot

Our goal will be to rescue as many holders as we can at this point. As we saw from last months Space burn it is unlikely we will come anywhere near wiping out the total supply. Find was on life support, currently our nodes are keeping it alive for the burn process. Space nodes will be taken down in a few days so we will see what happens to the hold outs on that. It could have gone better but I'm quite pleased overall with the burn.

Ok, the currently tally is 1,264,217 spacecoins burned, or 26.74% of the total supply. I think we can call this burn successful. Guys, there is 385,594 space still sitting in various wallets on the Burn Exchange. The Burn will go offline and the wallets removed in less then two days. Please check your accounts and either burn the space you have or withdraw it from BTCPool. Any SPACE left on the exchange that has not been swapped for Digital Credits will be destroyed when the wallet is removed. Swap them here by selling into the buy wall: https://btcpool.exchange/Market?pair=SPACE/DGCS Again, simply depositing space coins onto the exchange doesn't burn them, you have to sell them into the BUYWALL.

Everyone else, you have less then 48 hours to dump your space bags, the choice is of course yours. This is your very last chance.

There is an issue with the BTCPool exchange.

I cannot sell the last 5 SPACE.

For some reason you cannot sell your balance of SPACE coins, the sell amount must alway be ~ 0.5% less than the balance.

ya, you can't sell that small amount of coins as it wouldn't cover the fee. Buy a few hundred on Yobit, at current prices it's a guaranteed profit.

UPDATE : 1,864,945 space have been burned!

The issue was I started with 100k, but I could not sell 100k, so I entered 90K, and that worked.

For the last 10K i poked around with the amount until it would take my SELL order, and was left with 5 SPACE sitting in my balance.

There is a problem with BTCPool exchange.

Weird, I will pass this along to the exchange operators, they have access to all the logs, I have nothing to do with them. We will get this sorted for you. I don't see why that would have happened. Keep in mind this is the holidays so may take a few days.

@intristin

Will you be using other exchanges that support coin burns in the future?

The current experience was not as smooth as it should be.  The platform is still in its alpha stages of operation

I know the operators of the exchange are working on fixing up the issues as they come about, and they are quick to respond.  Not saying they are doing  an unsatisfactory job.

I am thinking it would be a good plan to deversify and spread out the coin burn to other operators as well.  Just to keep things decentralized as it should be to ensure smooth flow of coins.  Since the time and handling of volume are critical in these types of coin exchanges it would be good to have the ability to deversify as needed.

Yes I closed the other thread, easier to use just one for everything.

Just an update, we have added more nodes for Digital Credits, a new wallet will be out soon with the updated nodes and new bug fixes. It will not be a mandatory update.

We have broke 2 million space burned, The burn market will be taken down tonight in a few hours, audit will be released in a few days. I hope everyone had a happy new year!

The burn has ended and all remaining space have been sent to the burn address. We force burned the rest of the coins for the user in question and gave him Digital Credits. Please keep in mind that in all future burns any coins left on the exchange will be considered a donation.

The Block Explorer has stalled out, Our DEV will be fixing it when he gets home and then we will post a final update on the SPACE burn.

Ok, guys, final tally is in, we burned 44.49% of all space. A full audit will be released tomorrow. We want to reindex the explorer to make sure all the numbers are correct. My Dev is sick in bed with the flu so I'm giving him the night off. But you can check the explorer now here: http://spacecoin.dcredits.com/ We were shooting for 25% and overshot it, I would say the burn was a complete success.

I had to close and re-open my wallet a few times because syncing kept freezing.  But it finished fine & it's staking away hard...awesome stake rewards  :o

Ya it's hard to sync, I think that is one of the reasons the coin died, but once you get it all up to date it works fine.

Here is a copy of my data file which was updated about 2 days ago http://dcredits.com/dload/blk0001.zip

unzip it and place the file in C:\Users\(YOURUSERNAME)\AppData\Roaming\FindCoin  Or wherever your roaming folder is for FIND.

Then restart your client, should work for windows users at lease.

FINAL: December Burn Totals : 2,154,217 space burned for 538,554 Digital Credits. That's almost 50% of the total supply. Congrats guys. FIND burn is in full effect. Let me know if you have any issues. See post above.

Did you checked how many nodes were left for Space after the burning? Somehow i think that thanks to our action now the coin could end in a definitive rest in peace, which is the burn address of space anyway? is just a personal curiosity

My 4 nodes are still up. No idea how many there are beyond that. Gonna leave them up for a few more weeks so people can check the explorer and verify I'm not making shit up. But they will be down mid-month along with the explorer. No idea how many more nodes there are.

HI Guys
the SPACE Burn market has been removed  from btcpool.exchange

well it was even time, how many spacecoin were burned at the end? i know only that were more of 2000000 and who knows if we even reached 2.5m because was even enough

we have DGCSBurn   SpaceCoin   748367.6196054999 to send to the burn wallet
also there is a user on the exchange who has not exchanged his coins
Denial   SpaceCoin   104216.15557848

thanks
Paul

Paul,

My apologies, but I was traveling over the Holidays and didn't check in on the burn--I am "Denial" on BTCPool Exchange and my account shows the DGCS I received. The DGCS trading page doesn't light up with the numbers and stats, so I will be transferring to a wallet and staking these puppies.  Thanks for the opportunity to exchange with the PoB--nice concept.

Why can't I burn my FIND?!

I sell my balance into the buy order, yet it's just placed as a new sell order...at the same exact price as the burn rate.

WTF  ???

SUCH a coincidence as random errors occur along with movement @ yobit.  Same thing happened with CUBE recently.  Totally not suspicious at all :D

it have to be a bug, anyway i'm surprised that even if dgcs price is almost 300 sat now there isn't a panic buy on find (because even if it is at 50 sat each there are almost 100 sat of almost pure earning at the end)

Cool.  New site and explorer are working quick from over here.

One thing I am having trouble finding an answer to...  Is there a particular number of burns that will occur?  I am wanting to figure out if all the coins reserved for burns will over time be completely distributed and how many burns that is supposed to take place over, or if it is a variable I would like to know that too.

Thanks!

We normally do 1 burn each month on a different dead coin. The amount of new credits we release depends on the value of the targeted coin and how much of that coin is in circulation. The burns will continue until the burn fund is completely depleted. We have about 198 million credits left for this purpose, The process could take 5 or 10 years to distribute them all. If we run out of good targets before the fund in depleted, we will destroy whatever is left over. But with the number of dead or dieing coins in the altcoin space I don't see that happening anytime soon. I hope I have answered all your questions.

We have great news, Our Burns will be expanding to multiple exchanges soon, giving you more choices on where to burn your dead alt altcoins. More details coming soon. Only 1 week left to Burn your FIND coins, keep staking and make sure you burn them on the 30th. There will be no extension this time. Please keep in mind that any FIND coins left on BTCPool after the 30th will be considered a donation, you will not be reimbursed.

January 2015 Burn Details.

DATES: NOW until JAN/30/2015

You will be able to burn this coin during the dates shown above and receive Digital Credits in exchange at a set rate. This rate was determined on NOV/29/2015 at 8pm EST time. The exchange rate will not change during the burn. You have until the 30th of December to exchange the target coin for Digital Credits at our Exchange Partner site. Please note that Spacecoin is both Proof of Work and Proof of Stake. This will allow you to mine and stake the coin until the 29th of December and then burn everything on the 30th.

the op could be updated a little ;)

it's next year already .. and might be useful to mention burning FIND specifically with specific dates etc.

Cool man, stake them, it's a slow return but that is on purpose. We want to protect your investment. Fast way is to burn dead coins, but even then, we offer a fair price so the value of DGCS wont go down.

The next coin has been selected already but we are not ready to release the name. It is listed on C-Cex and is a dead scam coin with lots of bag holders. The wallet is not syncing very fast so we are gonna make a bootstrap for it to make it easy for you guys. When everything is ready to go we will release the name with the new nodes and bootstrap in a few days. It's another POS only coin. We have been having a hard time finding PoW coins that we can afford to buy up. Check back in a few days.

Thanks for the info Tekyboy!

In other news, you now have 24 hours left to swap your FINDcoin for Digital Credits. The Burn period ends very soon. Our next burn will be announced within the next 48 hours. To date about 325k FIND have been swapped. Turning out not to be a very popular burn, we will see what happens.

Please keep in mind that the nodes, and explorer will be coming down about a week after the burn ends, the block chain may have issues after this happens. Good luck.

Me too, for how intristin is trying to give us a image of it maybe we only need to hope that will go better, even if maybe for this one i will pass because it will be a coin listed on c-cex and let's say that i didn't heared good things about that exchange, but anyway let's hope for a better burning because with find maybe we started it a little bit unprepared

February's Burn target is called FLOZ coin and is a PoS coin currently listed on C-CEX. We are offering a 1 to 1 trade for this coin. You have from now until the 29th of February to stake it and then swap for Digital Credits. Below is the information you need to get started. Good luck.

You should create a spreadsheet to enlist all the burns that have been done and are coming up next.
For convenience you might wanna mention the dates also ;)

Eagerly waiting for the next burn ;D

We don't announce future burn targets until launch day. This is done to give everyone a fair shot. All burns basically start around the beginning of the month and end around the 30th. Past burns are listed on the bottom of the second post in this thread and here on our website: http://dcredits.com/pob/

So we have the first 1:1 burn seems.... anyway with the actual price of dgcs there will be some difficulties maybe for who wants to burn, about the find fork i wouldn't be surprised if behind all that there is that stupid kid who is more like a serious pain.....

In fact this sudden dump that happened in less of 12 hours is highly strange... i didn’t checked the other exchange but if my theory is right then even there the price went down in a possible panic, and somehow it happened when the burn was to be concluded...

Could be people dumping the credits they cashed in at the burn, who knows. It dipped last month around the 1st for a few days as well

We have been holding around 100 sats for the last two months. That is with distributing over 2 million through our burns. Yest i really want to see the price go up so we need to ask all your holders a few questions.

1. What do you thing of PoB, do you like it or do your think it should go away? If so, why and what should replace it?
2. Do you think we should change our algorithm? Is so, to what and why?
3. Should we have built in options that allow you to vote for changes?
4. Should your transactions be hidden? Do you care about privacy?
5. Do you want slow PoW/PoS, or fast?

Please keep in mind this in not a popularity contest. We want smart feedback and we will never make a change that would dilute your investment. Every change we may make will be announced well in advance.

hey guys, what do you think? As I have stated many times in the past I'm not a DEV. I pay a team to keep everything updated and to make changes to DGCS. I'm feeling like we need a major change to keep our price going up. This is not going to be a small expense to me so i would like to get it right. I really do want and need your feedback, please give it.

Ya i lost a lot as well. There are people who want to win and the only way to do that is to attack our burn targets. DGCS itself is secure.

Every coin we target for burn is getting attacked. For DGCS it means we are getting out of the burning business and going to refocus on something else. What that is I don't know yet. I'm gonna take a few off this project and take a much needed break from the internet. After that, with suggestions from the community, we will regroup into something different.

How long do you think you will need for that refocusing? It is important for DGCS investors to know that the project will have the continuity.
I like the idea of burning old coins, giving a second life to long forgotten coins. I belive, most of the people staying in crypto for more than one month have already experienced 'bag holding'.
A pity that this idea got abused by attackers and you got burned on burning. Looking forward to hearing from you, once you are back.

there are a few ways that i can think of to help the process :)

- create a centralised chain for the swap. this will be the official chain. must have acceptance by exchanges (eg c-cex)
most PoS code has a centralised server checkpointing inbuilt, just need to build clients that accept your centralised server.
i'm not sure about how you'd manage PoW though, perhaps using a centralised pool?

- using btcpool. allow deposits for 1 week. close deposits for a few days/week/whatever. then auto swap process, any coins on the exchange will get swapped.
this will mean any chain attack will have to unwind the few days/weeks/whatever worth of blocks. athough doesnt prevent multiple forks from happening.

- take a snapshot of chain. use that with users offereing proof of ownership. more work, no actual swap or burn as you don't do anything to the swapcoin.

I'm still here man, promised from the beginning I would not dump and abandon, Nothing changes. Our block chain is very secure, I doubled the nodes I personal control to over 50%. Not to mention I still hold the burn fund.

Plan is simple, we will be moving to a POS/POW model with a completely new blockchain. Current credits will be swapped two to one for the new credits, this will lower the supply and jack up the price. THE BURN FUND WILL NOT BE SWAPPED! It will be destroyed. We plan to slightly increase the PoW and PoS rewards and move to a new algorithm. This part of the plan is still be discussed.

At the end of the day, your investment is protected. A lot of dumping has happened over the last few days. and I am happy to say I'm getting a lot of cheap DGCS in the process. We are shooting for march 1, might be April 1. It's 50/50 at this point as we work out what it will cost.

Great to hear that you are around. Looking forward to the new phase of DGCS! It looks like the dumping has run out of coins for the moment and the price rebounded. Let's see if this continues, and DGCS is free of the accusations, ready to write new history.

I ask that you keep the swap period open long enough.

I find with PoS coins ppl tend to leave them stake and forget to check-in on the dev forums until the wallet loses all its peers.
