We know already that most bitcoins are owned by the top 40%. I want to discover the other 60%, most of them who have under 1 BTC, that's why i put the survey for values below 1 BTC, and who has over 1 BTC can check only 1 option. What I see now is that most people have answered more than 1 BTC which is interesting since I dont expect newbies to buy bitcoin, most of them just hang around faucets. Also consider that a lot of people just aren't ready to jump in. I know of people with 0.1 coin that could easily throw $50k+ into BTC right now if they felt like it, just just don't have that push. You mean it makes fiat 4x as valuable (if you earn 0.25x as much, you're not making 4x as much). No, you understand it wrong. Since you work 8 hour a day lets say for 1000$ /month. But you only get like 0.55 btc/month (for 250$). This means that for the same work, you get less bitcoins, therefor bitcoin is rarer and harder to obtains, so it makes it more valuable. I`d say you can earn at best a quarter of a full time wage, so that makes BTC 4x more valuable than any fiat on Earth. You mean it makes fiat 4x as valuable (if you earn 0.25x as much, you're not making 4x as much). No, you understand it wrong. Since you work 8 hour a day lets say for 1000$ /month. But you only get like 0.55 btc/month (for 250$). This means that for the same work, you get less bitcoins, therefor bitcoin is rarer and harder to obtains, so it makes it more valuable. Thus Bitcoin can easily reach 1000$ since its so rare and then your earning will drop again to adjust. Its a deflationary currency. That makes no sense. Yes it is, i started off with faucets, and i earned 0.02 in the first week. I earn more now with trading, but thats how I started and it was possible but it needed big work. But I have a lot more in different Altcoin in my wallet. Like Ethereum or Nxt for example. Also I particiapted at the IOTA crowdsale and I expect there also a nice return on investment, when this coin will be out in some weeks time. I will convert back some so that I have more Bitcoin. This has been converted to local currency which looks to be good and profitable.
