Where can I invest BTC? Must be reliable...

Services that claim that they will give you interest when you deposit are simply a lie and a scam , so don't use them .
I personally consider Bitcoin as an investment it self however it's for long term , you can start buying , hold for few years and then finally rise when the price is UP .
You still can start your own Bitcoin project with your bitcoins and try to make profit from it (running a faucet for example or something) .

Wait a decade and ask again. Other than a few happy exceptions the BTC 'investment' scene is universally wretched and filled with scumbags and morons.

I already own a faucet (that brings in little money) and I know that those crappy investment sites are just stealing money. I guess I need a new project, or a decent investment...

If you have the skills then your own project will always make a whole load more sense. There aren't many or any competent or trustworthy people who deserve your investment.

Well I won some money... It's really not hard earned.

I was thinking about programming my own BTC scripts and sell them.. Don't know if there's a lot of demand.

You could invest into dice sites .You gotta do your researches to find one which one's are accepting investors now.You could try https://just-dice.com/ ,I think they're seeking for investors all the time.If gambling is not suitable for your domain, you could start lending business or trade on localbitcoins.

That's not investing then , if you are going to program something and then sell it .
Demand depends on the BTC script , you should offer your services on Services section to see if people are willing to pay or not , It's better then programming something that you are not sure if people are willing to buy or not , that way you won't waste your time .

Having bitcoin in itself is a good investment, and probably the safest of them all (if you compare it to another currency, e.g. USD). But if you wanted to invest with bitcoin, I'd say that investing in a reliable dice site would be the best chance for you - like KenR mentioned, JustDice seems like a good investment site.

If you are right then I'm a scammer...
I pay interest...this means that you are wrong.
Sorry...if I know that people are wrong...then I can only say that people are wrong...
Use the word "almost"...and so you are right.

That's a question I want answers for too. :/ Sadly, there are no really good investments that just gives you high returns for your bitcoin, unless ponzi and hyip scams. All investments come with risks, so there are no 100% safe investments.

I'm currently lending my bitcoins in BTCJam to earn some interest, but if the user forfeits, you lose a lot (depending on your amount). Just started investing on moneypot too, but turns out the wins and loss fluctuates, so the amount earn would be average 0, plus theres a withdrawal fee. :P You can try BTCJam, but only lend in the trusted ones.

If you dont know what to choose and need other people to tell you where to invest, it s better you keep your BTC and keep reading.

There isn't anything currently worth investing in OP, just keep your money safe in your pocket, all the sites which claims to give you any return are mostly scams, especially the ones listed in the section described above. Stay as far away as possible from that board because although it is called Investor-based games but in reality it is a scammer's playground.

If I were you, depending on the amount of Bitcoin available you have, you could invest it into buying mining equipments and see results in the long run and at the same time help the community by making a contribution for making transactions get the needed confirmation as well while earn few amounts daily.

I have done some lending on poloniex and I feel that is pretty safe but you only get about 0.0135% interest per day on there standard loans..

I have really played with it a lot and have actually found a way to pretty much double your earnings with it by taking advantage of how the polo bot works with your loans on autorenew. It takes about .25BTC for the method to work best but the method will help if you have less than that but you reach the full effect with around .25BTC in lending with deminishing returns after that but the method still beats standard loans not using the method for more BTC invested.

It is actually pretty simple... Do you want to know?

I agree mining is an option. And if you are lazy you can even try cloud mining.
But it will take some time to get adjusted to the 'rules'

If you are not sure try to buy bitcoin and hold them for the future.

Cloud mining is something i can't advice, but holding bitcoin has ene profitable for me and many others.
Even if you bought it high like f.e. 460 USD, you can wait a few years and you will get your full investment back..

Not all. I don't think haobtc interest wallets, or financing options are lies or scams but risky? Yes.  Investing BTC is a risk whether you go for interest bearing wallets, or mining hardware you have the chance to lose it all.  If you don't want to risk losing your coins then you might as well tuck them away in a paper wallet, or at least a multi sig vault.

He want to invest his BTC on reliable sites. Better don't invest in any ponzi schemes, where they offer very attractive interest but at the end you lose you investment itself.

In this forum there couple of good gambling sites are there, where they accept investment but it also comes with risks because if gambling house lose money than you also will lose you're money. So not 100% safe investment.

You can also lend you're btc with proper collateral, which gives you some interest but don't lend any one without collateral.

If you're thinking of lending why not try out LoanBase? They're strict about loans nowadays, from what I saw in their site a while ago they're not allowing us to choose the loans we invest unto but we can only pick from their investment 'categories.' They'd spread the risk for you according to what you can take.

I am trying to gather the sufficient amount of bitcoin (according to my planning) to start my trading career in binary options, because through my previous experience in forex trading I should not have many problems to succeed in binary options, and perhaps it is one of the best alternatives to invest your bitcoins with good chances to increase your capital.

but for me after an investment you wait for an dividend...a real dividend...with ponzi shemes you have not a real dividend.

my negative trust points are from people who have not understood my system and have taken it for a ponzi sheme.

Yes. I think the same : Any investment have a little bit of risk. Then for example, I'm searching for people to finance my business. I've Jewerlery, and I could offer gold as collateral too. So I feel free to ask for a loan. But if, for any reasons I don't repay my loan, lender could sell collateral... It seem a good thing. Perhaps collateral worth 120 of amount loaned... And if values of gold I offered as collateral is gone down more than 20%? It realistic that could happens that gold or other collateral could lose more than 20% in little time! In this cases lender lose a bit of his investment!  The safest way seems to hold BTC. But if BTC price goes down too, holding is risky too!!!! So the safest way, if possible,  is holding and pay a little fee to link BTC value to a basket of FIAT currency .

Ps: This is only my opinion, so if someone would finance my business are welcome  ;D

Looking for investors is a bit hard nowadays unless you apply somewhere or run a campaing like indegogo or kickstarter. Holding bitcoin will always be a bit risky as the price is not stable, but still better than loosing in investing somewhere.

For fiat there are plenty of valid investments that anyone can recommend but I can't think of a safe one for BTC, it's just the wild west out there and they promise you the moon. I wouldn't trust on any investment site if I were you, I actually did that research myself and it's just not worth it no matter what amount you hold.

Which makes it very hard to trust someone with your money here.

Hello if you want to trade your bit coin for alt coin there some trading platforms like bittrex , c-cex etc. (trading involves high risk)
or you can invest in a site that'll give you interest up to 30% within 60 days or less this site is legit one in my list and paying since 2012 . you can pm me for the site link.

I invest in altcoins and cloud mining.
Both are risky but altcoins are a little more risky. But you can make more profit if you invest in right altcoin.

I made 30% profit on amber coin for example.

Yeah cloud mining is also very risky. Even with Hashnest you can't be sure if you get your investment back.
So watch the market closely when you are making such investment. Buying mining/cloud mining is a high-risk investment.

I invest in altcoins and cloud mining.
Both are risky but altcoins are a little more risky. But you can make more profit if you invest in right altcoin.

I made 30% profit on amber coin for example.

Altcoins are a good way to make some profit on your invesment.
For that matter altcoins are also a good way to lose your money.
I would advice only to invest in the top 10 altcoins on coinmarketcap

IMO alts are 2014ish, most of the alts have so little trade volume that it's no longer worth to take a look at.

I used to play the alt market too, but these days the volume is very low.
Also a lot of scamming happening there, so i decided to leave it all together, expect for a few coins i am involved in.

Dont invest ur btc at hyip or ponzi programme.. ur btc will gone ;)
Anyway why dont try invest it at some reliable site? Like moneypot? Or maybe betking? Apart from that i dont really know about other investment program.. maybe invest in bitcoin itself.

Invest it into an exchange like btc-e or bitfinex. Those are stable enough as of now.
Don't put into any sites promoted here in the investor based game threads. Nobody makes any substantial amount of profit there except for the Ponzi scheme owners  :D

Wasn't Havelock part liable for the amhash debacle?
I for one would never use them for any investment. They are way to shady to be involved with.

Buying old instead.

So many ppl throw around the term ponzi scheme like they know what it is. For us, there is a thin line btw legitimate business and ponzi - if we mine more coins than we pay our users, then we are legitimate, if we mine less coins than we pay our users, then we become a ponzi. How do you as an outsider to learn the health of this business? Simple, just go to our website - for over a year, we publicise the amount of bitcoins we mine per day and the total amount of bitcoins we pay our users. Compare these numbers and draw your conclusion.

there is no reliable way of investing bitcoin, all the methods are either bad or scammy. the best option for earning a profit from bitcoin is trading and even trading is not 100% reliable because the risks of trading aside there is always a risk of exchanger running away with your money.

Actually at this point where lot of cloud scam business are online, there is a high risk that you lose it all if you decide to invest in them. Investing in a casino bankroll is good in the origin as an idea, but takes time and have risks also. The best investment you can make is holding your bitcoin in your wallet. If you have more than 1-2 BTC please consider the idea of buy a hardware wallet, Ledger HW1 being the cheapest yet.
