If they use more watts I am not sure , but they will hash more at the 12 volt level and the 12.2 volt level. more watts is okay if watts per gh is .30 at the 12 volt level Ie 1000 for 3375 becomes 1060 for 3600 both are at .30 watts a gh. Last year I did really well (150% ROI when including hardware and electricity), but with halving just around the corner I can't make the numbers work at all unless the BTC price goes ridiculous. They are a new revision with a different chip arrangement they should give better gh 3600-3700 at 12 volts and 3800-3900 at 12.2 volts. (max) So in theory these are a little better. then last batch. He did not give me watts per gh info. Did Yan indicate if the actual power consumption increased? Is it still "roughly 1000W" or what? Suggestions gear the room under 92f I am setting my freq at 500 with my fans at 45% My temps are steady at 66c the room is about 82 f don't get the room really hot don't over volt. Only thing I did was open the casing for both my REV1 DPS-2000BB and adjusted the pot an 1/8th of a turn to the left. This gave me the 12.55v at the highest setting using Jabbers dual board. Since the RPM is almost double on the new ones vs old ones, I wonder if they have to run that high in order to provide the same static pressure as the old fans? Actually, I had a surprise tonight while preparing things for tomorrow. I had a poor probe connection when I took the reading (it shows up in the video too)-- the max voltage I was getting from the supply was really 12.62V, not 12.45V! With a range from 11.5V to 12.6V these supplies are almost perfect for the application. I'm annotating the video to correct the error. I'm running shorter PCI-E leads (only 8 inches), so I'll probably not need the full 12.55 to get 12.2 in the UI (less loss in the cabling). I'll see tomorrow. They made a change with the voltage control in the Rev 2, not sure i'm going to push the voltage anymore. Rev1: 3419 GH/S Rev2: 3784 GH/S IMO, it's really a good miner. I have interest in 4 more units so far. 2 to UK 1 to me 1 to New York I may do a third buy: I need the last one from buy two to arrive today. I will need 10 units min. I need to be paid for the loan on 1 avalon6. I am hopefull to try to organize for the third buy. Maybe this weekend See if they are going to be dropping the price some to compete with batch 10 pricing & the 20% diff increase. I'm willing to wait if it means a few hundred savings. Yeah Me too. I hope they will drop price. I will need to make sure this one is wrapped up. so when bctmke pays me for the loan on his and when tlhIlwI's arrives. If not, then I would likely be in for 1 more, as it's bugging me that I'm only a few THs away from breaking the 20THs barrier.
So far I'm getting roughly 11.5~7THs from my x1 v1 Avalon and x2 v2 Avalons. PDU says I'm pulling 16amps on 220v, so I believe that equates to 1173watts per Avalon.
