Most signature sites don't charge for transaction within their site. I feel Blockchain to be the one with the lowest transaction fee.

Not sure what is the wallet with the lowest fee I use most of time XAPO or bread wallet. would be nice if there was a comparison website. The differences are not always obvious between the available wallets.

Most desktop wallets allow you to set your own transaction fees.

Beware of setting too low fees though. It might end up in limbo for several days if it doesn't get accepted by miners.

Imo it is best to just use the suggested fee (around 10k satoshi), it is hardly anything you will feel anyway. Alternatively, you can try lower fees, but this may slow you down a lot for a potential saving of a couple of cents..

A slight work around if you plan to make multiple moves would be to move it to a gambling site where they pick up the fees.
Instead of paying say 10 fees you pay one for 10 moves by moving the lump to a site that picks up the fees. Otherwise they all are mostly the same in price.

Mycellium have only 4k satoshi fee per transaction, and it's my bitcoin wallet favorite until now.
Anyway blockchain.info implemented a dynamic transaction fee now, that's why it's sometimes expensive and sometimes low.

Bitcoin core is great for calculating the fee and your supporting the network, even if you dont have enough space you can run it in pruned mode, however i think you have to download the full blockchain first before you can do that

No I have seen that people do it but eventually they close you down. Its best to move bitcoin to other sites as a middle man and never directly deposit into coinbase from a gambling site. Least this is what I have read,do not use coinbase personally,it was at one time only available to Americans and have not looked into it since.

I recommend using blockchain. I had been using the wallet blockchain and I know a very low fee, in addition to the security level is also very good. try and feel  :)

Fees are not related to wallets, you normally choose what fees you are willing to pay. If you are looking for free transactions then you can use coinbase or xapo as the pay the fees for you. But with these kind of sites you do not really have any control over your btc

Blockchain.info .Not they have lowest transaction fee but they have enough to get your transactions confirmed within minutes which is  bliss I'd say. Most of the desktop wallets have function to set your own transaction fees.Low fees=Low priority=wait hours or days for transaction to get confirmed.

You can send 0 fee transactions with pretty much any client, and have it confirmed on the next block, depending on network conditions and your inputs.

Not a good idea. Gambling is against Coinbase terms of service. Coinbase can determine if you are sending bitcoin to or receiving from a gambling site and you will get your account locked. If you want to use bitcoin you bought at Coinbase at a gambling site you will have to use a mixing service to anonymize your coins and send to a desktop wallet you only use for gambling. Same for cashing out. You set up a separate desktop wallet for clean coins. Send coins from your gambling wallet to a mixer then to your desktop wallet for clean coins. You can then send from your clean wallet to Coinbase to convert to fiat. Do a little searching on reddit for more info or read my guide to anonymizing bitcoin (https://bitcoinnewsmagazine.com/so-you-think-bitcoin-is-anonymous/).

Online wallets usually want to lure people with promise of no transaction fee - like XAPO. But if you are looking for good wallet transaction fees are the least of your concerns.
Op, I heard that you want use your wallet to proceed you gambling transactions. So you should know that there is possibility of ban your account by online wallet providers.

I think they can be a lot less; most of the people worrying about transaction fees are faucet-eers that rely on transactions of 10 cents at a time. Fees aren't supposed to be something to be worried about IMO. Not for now, at least.

You can adjust the transaction fee yourself so it doesn't depend on the wallet you use for your bitcoins

I think no wallets offers zero transcation fee. Fee are must for the bitcoin Network.
But do not use Xapo. Use Mobile wallet like Breadwallet as it is most secure.

The wallet is like the messenger, don't blame the messenger for the fee. It's the network that requires the fee, and wallets don't want people complaining transactions take forever, so there is a fee.
I used to do zero-fee transactions from bitcoin-qt, until it got stuck for 2 weeks. Unfortunately miners don't want larger blocks (as it is in their interest to gain higher fees), so we have to compete with eachother by paying them more.

No. Same goes for most online wallets which has to comply with local regulations.

For online wallets like Xapo, you cannot do on chain gambling with it since they use a different address when sending Bitcoin to another place.

Most desktop wallets allows users to adjust the fees or use floating fees. There isn't much difference between using different clients to reduce fees. However, if you want, choosing a client which supports compressed keys helps to reduce the size very slightly.

yeah I think the fee is not a problem for now see the rate or price bitcoin still range of $400. fee of 0.0001 BTC
not a big problem. except bitcoin prices of more than $5.000 of course fee of 0.0001 BTC feels very expensive right ?
for the moment I don't think need to be debated.  0.0001 BTC still very cheap

For desktop wallet, try electrum. You can set fees manually.

For web wallet, try blockchain. And for mobile wallet, try mycelium.

And why do you want to pay lower transaction fees than the recommended fees? Your transaction priority must be low.

at the beginning of the first launching or opened xapo provide free charges for all transactions for now I don't know they are still exempt transaction fee or not ?
if you do not want to get a transaction fee you can store bitcoin in gambling site as crypto-games or fortunejack. they do not take a fee for sending bitcoin

Yes, Be careful Coinbase will block you account if it found your coins involved in Gambling or Betting.
You should use Desktop wallet if you want to have full control on your money.
Secondly Even if desktop wallets allows you to adjust the Fee, setting a too low fee is no good for
you as the transaction will always in pending status

I think that most wallet services allows the user to set their own fee (custom fees), which means you can low your fee to even 0 fee in any wallet.
But remember, low fee means you will have to wait a long time for the transaction to be confirmed by the miner.

You must always use a reliable and reputed bitcoin wallet even if the charge you some small amount of transaction fee.Going for a untrusted wallet just because it is free, may cost you all your coins.
You can try Spectrocoin for the offer nearly zero transaction fee https://spectrocoin.com/en/bankFees.html

Web Bitcoin wallets are safe, it's the exchanges that usually 'get hacked into' and coins get stolen due to security malpractices. I am now using the BitGo wallet which claims to be the world's most secure Bitcoin wallet  ;D Anyway jokes aside, if you have a unique strong password only used for logging into your online wallet you should be OK.

Since you have asked for information on how to create a paper wallet you can see the creation process being explained here:

In most wallets, You can set up your own fees i.e you can use a 0 BTC fee, But that is not recommended at all, You would end up having transactions stuck for hours or even days if you do that, Some websites cover the fees for the users but the only ones I came across where gambling sites (And I don't recommend holding your bitcoin in those).

Whatever you do don't use MultiBit wallet for anything. The day I dropped them and switched to Electrum was the day they forced me to pay $2.31 in fees to send out ~$17 in BTC.

Gonna sync that wallet real quick and see if I can pull that transaction up, was ridiculous

Here it is, my amounts were off but not by much

https://blockchain.info/tx-index/ac3b962733475b0ec3fc07f73621fe4dfd2b7da6294d678498ac0d9366692082

I sent 0.0435 ($17.95) and the fee was 0.00380083 ($1.57) which is roughly 8.7% fee for that transaction

The online wallets are fees free (except blockchain.info wallet). And for other wallets, the transaction fees is not determined by wallet but is set by the blockchain and the miners. If you don't pay any transaction fees then your transaction would take tooooo long or might even get rejected.

Fee is not depended upon wallet service provider rather it depends on miners decision to include transaction ith the lowest fee thay fix. So you can pay custom fee or no fee which is available in blockchain.info wallet which i usually use.

Tip : They are not recommended for gambling as your account might get suspended.

you are completely wrong. xapo and coinbase don't pay anyone's fee ever.. and their fee are little high also. 20K per transaction.. they thing is xapo and coinbase don't allow you to fix loan. and Xapo is only free just to other xapo addresses and emails. if you send money from xapo to other wallet . it will cast you fee like usual.
electrum allow you to fix fee manually and you can set the lowest fee yourself. but the transaction take so much time to confirm.

Coinbase sends your transactions without any fee on your behalf. They pay the fees for you, I think there's a limit of around 20 free transactions a day though, IIRC.

There's also Xapo, but Coinbase is a better option for me because with Xapo you have to verify your phone number and all that, just to send some dust on the bitcoin network...

Maybe it really depends on what wallet provider in your country but most if all filipino using coins.ph and it has no fee in every transaction deducted to every transaction made by the user and also it is user friendly with different features like buying steam, mol points and even load and also we can do easy cash out even if we dont have bank accounts by our wallet provider.

If you understand bitcoin then you understand why this question make no sense. I can tell you lots that will let you do a 0 fee transaction. It won't help you or the miners though. It won't help you because your transaction may never get confirmed. It clearly won't help miners because why would they confirm your transaction? There's nothing in it for them. Send at the very bare minimum 20 Satoshi/byte for crying out loud. It's not going to break the bank.

I used to exmo wallet, but there are something what you want to know: 1. you must to send there 100.000 satoshis, under that you lost.. 2. you can send min 100 dog.. dog fee is 1 dog in 1.000 dog. sorry for my english, but I wanted to tell you some risks about this wallet.. I thin, it's better then others.
Exmo is an exchange, not a wallet.

You're also mistaken about blockchain.info, as you can set your own custom fee there. After that it will ask you again if you want to change it into the recommended fee if it's not so high.

In Bitcoin Core I now use 0.05 mBTC fee, this works fine. If you're in a rush a bit more is recommended though.
Recently I tried zero-fee again (by accident), and it was still unconfirmed the next day. I did a double spend with fee, cleaned my wallet from the failed transactions, and it works again. It's time consuming to do though, so just stay away from zero fee transactions if possible.

Why the hell are you all saying "blockchain.info"?

Coinbase and Xapo both don't charge any transaction fees. They eat them up.

Everywhere else you have to pay your own fees.

Because blockchain.info is my first online bitcoin wallet and for me, the fee for each transaction is really small. it's only cost few pennies, and i never try Xapo and coinbase.

Can anyone tell which Wallet with lowest transaction fee both desktop and web wallet.

Thanks

if you not yet upgrade your blockchain account, you still able to modified your fee of transaction, faster transaction need bigger fee, that's the logic. and if you use coinbase, you will not find big fee, just 0.0001 each small transactions.

Low transaction fee will just result to slow confirmation.

In blockchain.info you can modify the transaction fees. Other web wallets that offers no charge fees uses default fees in most of the time.

I'm fairly new to Bitcoin, but here's a transaction list I've documented including the wallet I used to transfer BTC, amount sent, and the fee. Notice that Coinbase never charges me a fee for sending coins. I've also used Bitfinex, which doesn't charge me for sending coins.

   • Coinbase Wallet -> Bitcoin Wallet
      ○ 31.52 mBTC ->31.52 mBTC
      ○ Fee: 0%
   • Bitcoin Wallet
      ○ 31.52 mBTC
      ○ Fee: 2% = 0.63 mBTC
   • Blockchain -> LocalBitcoins
      ○ Sent 15 mBTC
      ○ Fee: 0.1469 mBTC
   • LocalBitcoins -> Blockchain
      ○ 2 mBTC -> 2 mBTC
      ○ Fee x1: 0.11736 mBTC ( 5.8%)
   • Blockchain -> Bitfinex
      ○ Sent 2 mBTC
      ○ Fee: 0.1469 mBTC
   •  BlockChain -> Coinbase
      ○ Sent 13 mBTC
      ○ Fee in Blockchain: 0.1469 mBTC (1%)
   • Coinbase -> LocalBitcoins
      ○ Sent 3mBTC
      ○ Fee: 0%
   • Coinbase -> YoBit.net
      ○ Sent 8.916mBTC
      ○ Fee: 0%
   • Localbitcoins -> CoinBase
      ○ Sent 2mBTC
      ○ Fee: 0.26171 mBTC (13%)
   • YoBit.net -> Bitfinex
      ○ Sent 8.40526 mBTC
      ○ Fee: 0.4mBTC
   •  BlockChain -> Paper wallet
      ○ 1.1mBTC
      ○ Fee: 0.1469mBTC

It is upto us how much fees we are going to put. Like blockchain.info sends transactions with at least 0.00014+ btc it is a dynamic fees for it. However, The new version of Blockchian somehow identifies the size of the transaction and changes the fees according to it. I don't understand why you asked this question. It is upto you how much you are going to pay for the transaction.

I am using xapo coins.ph and coinbase and I don't know about other wallets because this three wallets are the only wallet I am using and I don't mind about the transaction fee's if there is one cause it doesn't bother me because it is to small you will not even notice it and why would you bother learning about transaction fee's? I think if you are earning large amount of bitcoin you wouldn't bother knowing it.

For web wallet you can use Coinbase, i can sent all my balance in my Coinbase wallet and i see my transaction without fee.
For dekstop wallet i have use electrum you can set the fee, but you should know if you sent with low fee your transaction can get a day or more to get confirmation, today i try Multibit HD and i have 0.0015 in my wallet i sent 0.0015 and deducted 0.0001 as a fee get confirmation in 1-2 hours.

I think xapo is the best web wallet for now, Because you don't pay transaction fees until now. but i have a message from xapo that say in 14 february, xapo will allow the fees. It work like:
Transaction xapo to xapo = no fees
Transcation xapo to any other bitcoin address( not xapo ) = 0.0002 btc.
So, i think, that blockchain.info will be the wallet with lowest transcation fee.

Yes xapo is there without any transaction fees (which i had experienced before and i had not used since long, so i don't know current scenario) you could atleast try once. It's secure than many other wallets but i cant guarantee about it's full security.

I guess the lowest transaction fee is when you use the same web wallet like coinbase to coinbase, but
I highly recommend coinbase to use for transaction because I noticed that when I used it to transfer funds I can not see that they remove any fee but I transfer it not to coinbase wallet.
But as what stated above coinbase totally zero percent transaction fee. So we better use it, no fee, I guess secure enough to trust, but then I just have our local own wallet, exclusive I guess for us to transfer bitcoin to fiat easily and no hassle for both party.

Just because your wallet allows you to do a bitcoin transaction with a low fee doesn't mean it's going to be confirmed quicker or anything along those lines, it's just going to take days on end for that confirmation to occur and for you to get the product / service you were attempting to buy.

If you're just speaking of fees from the wallet service themselves, most don't have it unless you use a service such as BitGo or another more secure web wallet.

With Core you can set the fee you want.
You can set it to 1 satoshi if you want.

Well yeah you could do that, but then you'd just never confirm and your transaction would become a statistic when it comes to the amount of unconfirmed transactions on the network.

Not sure what is the wallet with the lowest fee I use most of time XAPO or bread wallet. would be nice if there was a comparison website. The differences are not always obvious between the available wallets.
I also recommend xapo wallet you should use xapo wallet which free they do not take any fees mean xapo wallet fees is 0 and xapo wallet has a high security no can open your xapo wallet without your codes which by xapo wallet.

im using xapo and they dont charge me nothing. at least not to send/receive bitcoins in my wallet.
but... as far as i'm aware, i cant have the private key of the wallet, so it isnt perfect. i dont trust them with more than a few btc's.

still great to fast transactions, if you are constantly sending/receiving some coins.

but maybe have to wait long confirmation  ;D
nope, that never happened to me.
even tho they dont charge you, they still have to pay the fee's, you can look the TX. They generally use 100k satoshis+.

Using the zero fee transaction is always not recommended. your transaction will get long confirmation or stuck on the bitcoin network. depends on the bitcoin network condition and every time the priority fees of bitcoin can increase anytime.

Blockchain.info .Not they have lowest transaction fee but they have enough to get your transactions confirmed within minutes which is  bliss I'd say. Most of the desktop wallets have function to set your own transaction fees.Low fees=Low priority=wait hours or days for transaction to get confirmed.
Blockchain is a wallet with a transaction fee but atleast is secure and reliable. For me finding a good wallet is hard if you prefer a low transaction fee because bitcoin doesnt have tax reason to had a fee for the developers to earn some. And in wallet there are riskif you looking for low price wallet. Just find a secure and reliable one like blockchain then transfer you bitcoin on a handy wallet where you van manage and see the converstion of bitcoin so know when to make transaction or not.

Bitcoin.co.id does not have the lowest tx fee, all wallets have the same transaction fee. All the transactions from all wallets are submitted to the blockchain, so the one with the highest fee will get confirmed first because it's the most profitable for the miner.

True. Blockchain may have higher fees but the security is really great.
Oh and acrually you have an option to how much you will pay.
If you want it really faster then maximize the transaction fee. But if it is not that important and you can wait then let it be at minimum fee. Very simple.

Well, there are many other useful bitcoin wallets which are used on the pc. I do not recommend people to use blockchain.info because it is an online wallet and it is vulnerable to online thread. Hackers can easily hack your account and steal information in order to steal your Bitcoin. Moreover, developers can decide to turn into a scammer whenever they want

With online wallets, Blockchain is definitely comparatively secure and offers a lot of good security options for people who need it.  Fees from the actual wallets are always very low compared to the transaction fees paid to Bitcoin miners and you can never compromise the safety of your Bitcoin for the sake of penny pinching.

Yes when it comes to online wallets its only blockchain and coinbase which are secure and coinbase is very easy to use as well. When it comes to paying for bitcoin miners i would also suggest not to worry about few extra pennies rather than compromising on the security of the transaction because genuine miners with good trust charge slightly higher than those with negative trust.

BitcoinCore, Blockchain, Coinbase, MultiBit, Armory, all are pretty cheap and safe to use. But I would suggest Coinbase as its available in both in the US and the Europe. The fees go around 1-3% based on your location, so confirm the fees before making the transaction.

I personally prefer blockchain wallet andit has got the best of transaction fee and it won't affect us much whether the transaction amount is high or low, because it too has got the manual setting of transaction fee respect to which the transaction confirmation happens.

Those web wallet hosts are having good reviews and comments from several members but there is one web wallet which I found very convenient to use and has lower fees and that is blockchain.info. In the site you can adjust your fees to lower but too low of a fee will result in a very long confirmation of transaction. Though some said that they have increased their fees but compared to others they still have a reasonable fee per transaction.

I think blockchain is a good one, especially this online wallet is really popular among bitcoin users and for the transaction is quite low for me. But i think transaction fee also affect the confirmations of a transaction right ? If your transaction amount is big and the fee is really small, you will wait a long time to get confirmation. Desktop wallets, you can pick whichever one that you fancy because you are in control of your coins and therefore you are able to change the transaction miner's fee to whatever you want, even to 0.

However, if you do that, that means that you are risking your transaction to not be confirmed at all, even in a month.

So the wisest thing to do is actually pay the whole fee if you are using a desktop wallet, or blockchain.info.

Xapo is currently the only web wallet that i am aware of that is offering fee free transactions. Coinbase and Coinjar used to offer that as well, however due to the high bitcoin transaction fees, now they are forced to tell the sender to pay a fee.

But make sure you don't put too much money in your Xapo, because you don't hold your own keys. If they scam, your coins are gone.

I have been using blockchain.info for almost a year now and I always try to minimize the transaction fees by first accumulating bitcoin before sending it to my local exchange to convert it to fiat. The difference in sending .03 and .3 bitcoin is quite small so I would rather accumulate my bitcoins up to a certain amount before sending. I am still hoping that these fees can be lowered without the risk of the transactions not getting confirmed because if the fee continues to rise, I would think several times before making any transactions.

I am still hoping that these fees can be lowered without the risk of the transactions not getting confirmed because if the fee continues to rise, I would think several times before making any transactions.
I also use to keep my Bitcoins in Blackchain.info, this is safe to hold our coins in a wallet, other wallets I never tried, from the beginning I am using only this wallet to save my coins. Till today I have not faced issues from this wallet. And one more wallet I will use it's local exchange before they charge 0.0002 BTC  for every transaction now they increased to 0.0005 BTC. It is bit high amount. So looking for another safe site to do local trading.

Can anyone tell which Wallet with lowest transaction fee both desktop and web wallet.

Thanks

I have been reading here, in another section of the forum, xapo doesn't charge any fees for sending. You may take a look at it and see if it fit your needs
They don't charge for fees if you send bitcoins to another xapo account. Afaik if you send bitcoins to other wallets they'll start charging you some fees. It is stated here (https://in.xapo.com/fees/l) and OP mentioned that he'll be gambling so there will be fees.

Web wallets without transaction fees are coinbase and xapo (0 fee), but do not use coinbase if:

1. You are from India or a country for which coinbase does not support buy/sell option because the chances of coinbase blocking access to your account in future is very high.

2. You are into gambling, mixing funds, or any illegal activity (they abhor incoming transactions from shady sources) because then also your account will get closed without you being able to withdraw.

Lowest transaction fee does not mean anything with the current trend in bitcoin transactions because, even with high fees, your tansaction will be confirmed in hours. If you lower the fee, the time for it to be confirmed could drive you crazy.

Haven't used either Coinbase or Xapo in a while but I believe there are fees at both now unless the transaction is Coinbase to Coinbase or Xapo to Xapo

I've been using BitPay for a while now, but last few days I've been charged roughly 10% fee regardless of transaction "size". And I used super economy fee, which is just plain insane.
Any thoughts?

I thought that Xapo and Coinbase, and probably other online wallets are no longer supporting zero fee transaction because current high tx fees are too much to handle.

Bitcoin tx fees are not percentage based. You pay for size of your transaction, the bigger the transaction the higher the fee.
Without proper TX fee we can't say much about it, but I am rather sure that your transaction was composed from multiple outputs.
That effectively made it bigger and therefore tx fee was so big.

Rates are not defined by wallets, but by the network. What happens is that some wallets, like blockchain.info, have fees defined by default, to make things easier for the user. However, this is something you can change before you make a transaction.

Multbit wallet has the lowest transaction fees at a moment but its not worth to use that wallet as to get transaction confirm it may take even 3 to 4 days which is really frustrating as no one can afford to wait that long to get bitcoins in their wallet.

It's only a matter of time before Xapo changes their mind and starts to do exactly what Coinbase did about stopping to support the miners fees. I think the only reason they still have not do it is because they are not much popular as coinbase is now, so with very very less users, less fees to pay for them. Xapo is not so big in the bitcoin community

In most of the wallets you can decide yourself how much you want to put as a transaction fee, or choose "fast", medium or "slow".

As others suggested Xapo and Coinbase pays the fees but you have to remember that your funds are in others hand and you don't own(and control) them 100%.

if your transactions are time sensitive then Its always better to use Wallets with Medium or High fees as Your transactions will be confirmed soon .

Otherwise with wallets with lower fees you Might have To wait for days or weeks to get your amount confirmed .

As of now there are some wallets provides lower fees Like Blockchain

Before it was approved fast for lowest transaction fee but now all sites are updated and allowed people to pay some extra money to get fast confirmation. The fees are actually bit expensive, but we don't have other option. If we want to get confirmation fast, we need to pay a high fee.

Based on the url of that wallet that you are saying, i think it is only designed and being used around the ph or philippines and that is not an international wallet. I think the OP is finding some international wallet that has a fair rate in terms of fees and coins.ph is not designed for all the bitcoin users because it is only for the ph people.

And as they said above, it depends on you are BTC investor or just a faucets user. I use faucets, earn around 40-50 $ per month. And if you are going to use faucets, Xapo really sucks.

I have ledger and they have a customise button - you used to be able to add 100 satoshi's per 'byte' then they quickly changed it - i guess stuff still wasn't getting through. What is crazy is that you can now pay $1.24 for a transaction and it is considered a low fee and takes hours.....

This only matters if you use a hosted wallet, use the Bitcoin client or a wallet that will allow you to set fees and you can avoid this. You set the fees; if the transaction isn't very time sensitive, like sending bitcoin to savings account, then you can use a low fee of your choosing, provided it's reasonable. If you send a really, really low fee, there is a real change with all the congestion that your transaction may sit in mempool long enough to fade back out. You'd have your coins, but would have wasted a lot of time ;)

Time really is money :)

Coinbase just covers your fees (or at least they did back when I used their services), it doesn't mean they have the lowest transaction fee.
I wish people would figure out that a transaction fee is a transaction fee and not something instilled by wallets to facilitate their services. It kinds of makes me irritated to see so many of these replies saying that x or y wallet has lower fees when they really all have the same.

With the adjustment of xapo when it comes to incoming and outgoing transactions those amount that will be on their list will be eaten by them. And when it comes to the wallet with the lowest transaction fee, I don't think that there's one that is existing as most of the wallet providers are allowing us to adjust the fees.

You can use coinbase. They do not charge fee transaction for sending bitcoin.

We will discontinue paying network transaction fees for on-chain transactions starting March 21st, 2017.

Fees will be assigned dynamically based on the current network conditions and will be paid by customers when they send an on-chain transaction.

Transactions between Coinbase accounts will continue to be off-chain and free.

There is no bitcoin wallet now that is covering the fees or charging a very low fee. Because the confirmation is now depending on how much we are going to pay the miners. And the higher amount you'll include for the miners fee that will make your transaction faster but if you won't pay or you will just pay with a low fee, you need to wait a little longer.

Like Faucets already giving very less SAT due to high bitcoin price, the no more free tx wallet make it even more less for the person who wana spend the small amounts, earned from the faucet.
I have switched to desktop wallet because its no use keeping bitcoins with xapo / Coinbase and have no control over the private key and also no more free offer of free transaction.

True.
I have some funds in Coinbase and cant get it because I am regretting the fact that it will eat a lot of my funds just for the fee. Perhaps, I will add some more to at least satisfy that fee.
Many of the wallets are getting higher fees also and I just use trading sites for now for transferring bitcoins because they got lower fees.
This is a heck of a chaos and should be brought back to where it should be when the traffic is fixed.

which trading site that still have low fees? bittrex need 0.001 and Liqui need 0.0015 even hardware wallet need high fees too, nothing that we can do to prevent this, just take it or leave it
I agree with you, we can't do anything about the fees because are based on the miners and if the miners want higher fees then they will get it. The wise way to deal with the high fees is only transact if it is a big amount of money so you can save money from big fees and always spend bitcoin in a smart and sure way so you will not waste any amount of your bitcoin.

Coinbase is having moderate fee structure, so that a transaction is fast enough to be processed soon as well as it should be a burden for the sender. So I guess coinbase is the most useful exchange with respect to fees. But, recently coinbase is showing many errors and constantly getting server down.

That's not something new.Exchanges always claim to be under maintenance once bitcoin prices show an intense growth. Also, having a moderate free structure isn't the most significant reason to use an exchange.I believe, all the exchanges should let users decide the suitable fees. They can set a minimum fee for a particular transaction to avoid double spends but apart from that, user must be allowed to have more control over his transactions.

Mycellium have only 4k satoshi fee per transaction, and it's my bitcoin wallet favorite until now.
Anyway blockchain.info implemented a dynamic transaction fee now, that's why it's sometimes expensive and sometimes low.

Thanks for the share. I am interested to try Mycellium too. It would be nice to see a reliable multi crypto wallet with low fees too. Because Bitcoin is supposed to be with lower fees than fiat.

At present, the blockchain system is often overloaded, which makes transactions unconfirmed, most of which increase the transaction fees to ensure the speed of their transactions. I think that electrum and blockchain are the lowest cost wallets, even though the blockchain needs very high fees in the past.

There is no PC wallet with lowest fees like that,Online wallets Poloniex just requires 0.0001 for withdrawal, heard coinbase is "free", LBC also takes less fees than the normal.
PC wallets and BC.info offer free fees, you can set it as much as you want (or as less) but of course if you lower it the possibility of getting confirmed plummets.

Poloniex is not a wallet as such it is an Exchange, it is not advisable to use it as a wallet plus all the Exchanges are currently struggling with Support if you should need it due to so many new users signing up.

Coinbase is not free unless the transaction is between Coinbase users, i.e. Coinbase to Coinbase.

Most wallets now give a choice of transaction fee for you to choose from according to the importance of the speed of the transaction.

With the current situation of blockchain, there are no more wallets with a low transaction fee. Almost all wallets have increased their fees and that is because of the huge volume or traffic of transactions in the mempool. The fees were increased so that we can avail of a priority pass so that our transactions will be confirmed fast. But even though the fees were high but compared to the banks it is still cheap.

Yes, with the current situation of blockchain and the strong growth rate of Bitcoin, it seems that there are few types of wallets that can be low cost. If so, the speed of the transaction can be very slow and can not be confirmed. In the past, coinbase wallet allowed for free, not fee, but now they have to raise fees. Nowadays, Bitcoin is used more and more every day, there are many transactions, the transaction speed will be reduced, so increasing the fee is also understandable.

You can set your own fees in most desktop and online wallets, HOWEVER if you reduce it from the recommended, sometimes transactions can take days to get the first confirmation and usable at the websites..
I knew about coinbase covering the user's fees, not sure about that now, LBC and Paxful too but not sure about them now. Poloniex takes just 0.0001 as fees now though.

Can we do betting with coinbase ?

No I have seen that people do it but eventually they close you down. Its best to move bitcoin to other sites as a middle man and never directly deposit into coinbase from a gambling site. Least this is what I have read,do not use coinbase personally,it was at one time only available to Americans and have not looked into it since.

I just wanted to chime in on this and let you guys know that I did get a strict warning from Coinbase when I sent BTC to my Coinbase wallet from a casino. It was actually just affiliate commissions, but they didn't care. They threatened to shut down my account. Just don't do it. I now send my affiliate commissions to Xapo or directly to my hardware wallet.

Hello, I have a problem I have not used bitcoin for 1 year Before we used xapo and blockchain.info

Xapo was wonderful a year ago for faucet But now that I come back to xapo

Surprise, pay the fee if the amount is less than 0.001 BTC So if a faucet sends 40,000 satoshi to me

In my wallet, gets 0 BTC And what's worse

The minimum amount received for which you do not pay the fee increases daily.

My question is ! All wallets pay the fee, for btc received, or just xapo?

For example if receive 40,000 satoshi in my blockchain.info Wallet I pay the receipt fee ?

And what's worse for me at xapo In my wallet I only have 0.0013 btc

But I can not use it because the toll is 0.0018 BTC

I would like to know what wallet does not have the reception fee, but which one is the best

What do you think about Electrum? Is a safe wallet ?

And the last question if on blockchain.info You can set the btc send charge, which is the minimum charge that can be set ?

In the period we used it blockchain.info The tax was 0.0001 :)

Thank you, expect answer is important to me !!

I guess coinbase really goes with this, since in that site you can put on how much you can give for fee but now fees really matters, because the lowest fee you put the most impossible your transaction to be confirmed.
Like what is happening to my transactions, the senders put low fee so now I am stuck, my coins are totally stuck for transactions so bad.
Better not use low fees if you  want fast transactions.

Can anyone tell which Wallet with lowest transaction fee both desktop and web wallet.

Thanks

Just to correct thing. Poloniex requires 0.001 as a fee for withdrawal and not 0.0001. It's right that Poloniex is basically an exchange, and many people have repeatedly said that it's really dangerous to keep your money in exchange for a long time because every exchange has the potential to turns out becoming scam just like Cryptsy. But, if someone is expecting to make a big sized transaction with the lowest fee, using Poloniex can be an alternate option. It doesn't matter how big your transaction is, the fee will always be fixed.

BTC withdrawal transaction fee is actually 0.00010000 at Poloniex but another problem with all the Exchanges and many other centralised services at the moment is that due to the surge in new users there are lengthy backlogs in the support systems should you need them.

Ah, Sorry, I just remembered that 0.001 is Bittrex withdrawal fee. Pretty curious about why there's a huge gap of fee between Bittrex and Poloniex. Maybe Bittrex just trying to minimise the loss caused by the overwhelmingly high fee.
But, a good thing it's also fixed so it's fine.

As far as I know Xapo is the only wallet that charges for incoming transactions below a certain amount, currently 0.0011728 and any transaction below 0.00078187 would be lost in fees.

Blockchain wallet is a good wallet because you can adjust your fees in that wallet which is a good option and if you got stuck transactions then you can use transaction accelerator which is also a good combination because you will save some time and also money because you not pay too high fees but received it on time because of the accelerator.

I think these days every wallets charges lot of fees due to high price of bitcoins. Even those online wallets  like xapo and coinbase are charging good amount of fee. I use C-cex exchange to send small payments as it charges only 0.000020 btc which is i guess is the lowest fee.

Actually, there are still some sites (not really wallets) that don't charge anything for withdrawal to your wallet. But I don't recommend using them to store big amounts of btc. They are mainly gambling sites so I shouldn't advertise but try a few and you will see most don't have fee, where I deposit and play for a while. In fact, I only dare withdraw when there is less than 80k tx in mempool... usually tx is not with a high fee and it takes about a day.

Most signature sites don't charge for transaction within their site. I feel Blockchain to be the one with the lowest transaction fee.
I agree on you because I also used blockchain.info as my wallet and I can say that it has a lowest transaction fee. But im not that 100% sure that among all the wallet for bitcoin blockchain has the lowest transaction fee. If you know any thing that has a lower fee than blockchain then prove it and justify your answer :)

If you are looking for a wallet with the lowest transaction fee then I would try to recommend Multibit though I am not sure how much the transaction fee is nowadays. I remember trying to send a payment with Multibit and the transaction was over 0.0001 BTC and there was other times when I would send a Bitcoin transaction while the transaction fee was calculated to exactly 0.0001 BTC -the client is pretty weird, I would use a bit of caution if you are likely to try it out.

I also found c-cex as a better exchange wallet for transactions because on that exchange when you will use the wallet for transactions then you will pay a fees of 0.0002 BTC per transaction. Until now I have found that exchange with a lowest fees of transaction.

No lower fees today bcause we all know the the bitcoin user is increasing in a rapid rate because of the companies accepting it like it is being accepted as a currency in japan with that reason the bitcoin user increasing and the demand was increasing to the bitcoin price increasing also when the bitcoin price increasing the wallet fees also increases so as long as the bitcoin worth more the fees will get high also.

Poloniex :)
It is an exchange and the risk in holding your coins in exchanges are really high and i will not suggest anyone doing that, some gambling sites still pay their transaction fees and you could move your coins there as well if you think Poloniex is the best option. :P Keep your coins where you can easily access in your computer and use the minimum fees to get the transactions done rather thank keeping it somewhere else.

So what that it has the lowest transaction fee at the moment? The thing is that the lower the fee is the more time your transaction needs to get confirmed, what might even take a few days sometimes. You should always send it with the bigger fee in order to get it confirmed as soon as possible even though it might be a bit expensive. Hopefully the block size issue will be solved asap and we'll have segwit.

I agree with you . Blockchain is the best, because it is free to determine the amount of fee we want. Want a little and a lot of it depends on us. Which must be considered is the determination of the amount of fees may affect the time of delivery of bitcoin transactions. The greater the fee the faster the transaction is successful.

I would suggest you to use coinbase or blockchain.
The transaction fees are comparatively lower than other wallets (mostly 1%)

Coinbase is actually more user friendly and allows users to keep multiple wallets like blockchain.
In coinbase you can store BTC as well as other crypto like ETH and LTC , it has a dashboard where we can see the growth graph of these cryptos.
The wallet also has certain seeds , private keys, and pins for security.
Coinbase has more than 4million users , we can buy bitcoins on coinbase by credits and PayPal.

Stupid answer from Sr. member. Blockchain consumes around 0.001 btc for each transact to send the bitcoin to another address. If you wish to reduce the fees for the transaction means you have to use the desktop wallet which gives you the way to modify the sending fees of bitcoin. you can try the multibit or electrum to do that.

I think it must be Electrum cause you can choose the amount you wanna pay for transaction fee. But you shouldn't set the transaction fee too low cause it'll make your transaction get confirmed much longer. I think the normal amount for transaction fee is 0.0004, it's not too much and still keep your transaction not too long :D

Electrum is a pretty good wallet to use when there is multiple people that you need to send money to. It gets pretty troublesome to send money to people that is usually a receiver so it wouldn’t make that much sense to keep sending them Bitcoin and setting the transaction fee to a low amount. Sending Bitcoins should be an easy process and Electrum does help with that fact though there would have to be a little bit of tweaking in the client in order to make that work.
Multibit is the best client to use because the transaction fee is set at a really low amount.

The wallet with the lowest transaction fees would be one that allows you to enter your own custom amount. You could then enter as low as just 100 satoshis but be prepared to wait days or even months for your BTC to arrive.

Title: Re: Wallet with lowest transcation fee

You can either make your own TX's or use a software wallet and set them as low as you want. The issue is that the lower the fee, that longer it will take to confirm. It could sit for days and never get mined because the fee is too low. The exchanges set what they consider to be the optimal fee and even though it is high, it gets the job done. Lower the fee, mean late the confirmation. Higher the fee, quick confirmation. Simple  :)

Blockchain is a purse with a transaction fee but at least safe and reliable. For me, finding a good wallet is very difficult if you prefer a low transaction fee because bitcoin has no tax reason to have a fee for the developer to earn some. And in the wallet there is riskif you are looking for low wallet. Just find a safe and reliable one like blockchain then transfer you bitcoin on a handy wallet where you manage and see the converstion of bitcoin to know when to make the deal or not.

I am not sure if this trick is convenient for you or not but you can use Localbitcoin's couponing system where you don't have to pay any fee for sending Bitcoins from one account to another account. You have to generate a coupon code for the amount you wish and then you send that coupon code to a person to whom you are willing to send Bitcoins and the amount will be deducted from your Localbitcoins account as soon as he enters that coupon code in his Localbitcoin account. By this way, you can even transfer the smallest possible amount without doing an actual transaction.

I only use coinbase to buy with a debit card and every single time i move it off of there immediately and i never return it from anything that i sent it to, like i never deposit anything but money from my debit card on it in case the bitcoin ATM is closed which lets me buy a lot more quickly and easy i find.

I think maybe it really depends on what wallet provider in your country but most if all Filipino using coins.ph and it has no fee in every transaction deducted to every transaction made by the user and also it is user friendly with different features like buying steam and even load and also we can do easy cash out.
I’ve only been making use of Coinbase, Xapo and Blockchain wallet. Coinbase and Xapo seems to be at the same rate in transaction fees, while Blockchain seemed lower than the two. The transaction fee in every wallet is almost the same so for me it's actually depend in what you choose to pay in transaction fee. Whenever you send you have to choose whether it's economy or priority. If you want your transaction to be fast choose priority. The higher you pay the fastest your transaction get confirmed and vise versa.

I don't think that the transaction fee can be manually set in Coinbase. If you want to manually set the transaction fee, then please use a desktop wallet, or an online wallet which allows that such as Blockchain.info. But first, you need to check the fee requirement, in sites such as bitcoinfees.21.co or estimatefee.com.

I think the bitcoin users has made bitcoin more safe and easy to keep and to carry by introducing good wallets such as bitcoincore, blockchain, and multibit, all of those are safe, cheap and easy to use and it has low transaction. It got the manual setting of transaction fees which takes very low time to get conformed so for me the above wallets are good and easy to use.

I think blockchain is still the cheapest with all the features they offer.

Stupid answer from Sr. member. Blockchain consumes around 0.001 btc for each transact to send the bitcoin to another address. If you wish to reduce the fees for the transaction means you have to use the desktop wallet which gives you the way to modify the sending fees of bitcoin. you can try the multibit or electrum to do that.
luckily i do not use blockchain anymore, besides the expensive fee the confirmation time is also a bit slow (or maybe just my suggestion lol). maybe I'll be a bit suggest this to you, if you do not find a wallet accordance with you because the fee is too expensive, maybe you can use the poloniex exchange for your wallet, they only use fee 0.0001 btc for each transaction, very cheap I think and the confirmation time is also quite fast
