wanna know best and reliable bitcoin mixer which i can use to mix 7+ bitcoins.
Please experienced users who have actually mix large quantities of bitcoins please suggest good mixer service?

Bitmixer.io . I never got or saw any issues with them. well, maybe one or two but they're unproved.

What is actualy Bitcoin mixer and how does it work?

A bitcoin mixer makes sure that coins cannot be followed through the blockchain to someone you are paying or when you are moving your coins to a new address.

Basically, you send them a bitcoin, it gets added to a large pool of bitcoins that the mixer service owns, and it in turn sends 1 bitcoin that is not related to the 1 bitcoin that you send to them forward. This means that any trail your bitcoins left before stops at the mixing service and your new coins are untracable unless the mixing service is compromised. Another thing that can happen is, if you use a large sum of coins, that the mixing service reserves are not big enough to send you a complete set of non related coins.

Why do people use mixers if their coins are clean?

I'm not bothered about why if they do it to cover anything just wondered why. Bitcoin is anonymous any way so who cares if the coins have been used in darkmarkets before or whatever.

Bitmixer seems to be the best option for you, bitmixer is very old site and can be trusted with large amount like yours.

I read about bitmixer but it's pretty expensive to mix the coins there specially if you are mixing big amounts of bitcoins.

you can do that, of course. but if you're looking for privacy that may be not a good idea because the exchange still knows where the coins came from and where they goes.

If there was a free mixing service, I would be worried that they could disappear with my coins. At least, Bitmixer has a sustainable business model.

Bitmixer seems to be the general consensus answer for anything clearnet.  If you're looking for something on the TOR network (i.e. If you're REALLY paranoid about keeping your activities private), they actually have an onion-side site, as well (bitmixer2whesjgj.onion/ - you can verify by looking on their clearnet site).

There's also one called PayShield.  While I've never used it, it's run by the same person/people who provide SIGAINT (a highly trusted deep web email service), so I'm inclined to believe that they're trustworthy.

Until today i have seen good review about these two bitcoin mixers: [banned mixer] and bitmixer.io both of them have good reputation.

They both have good reviews, but I think bitmixer.io is better I used it multiple times and they are fast as hell and also very reliable if you ask me.
Also the fact is that the bitmixer.io website is much easier to understand for people than others in my opinion plus they also have a tutorial how it works on their website.

I have not used bitmixer.io service in the past but from the reviews here i believe that they are good. But recently i have seen cryptomixer being a similar (or identical) service like bitmixer, i tried it and it was perfect.

Your trail stops, but another trail may continue. Whatever the reason is for you to want to mix your bitcoins, it is safe to assume someone else has a worse reason to do so! If your new bitcoins pick up their trail, you're worse off than you started.

That being said, if I'd have to pick a company, I would pick bitmixer as I only see good things about it.

only those exchangers which work with fiat will ask for ID, in other words verifying your account. while you can work with their exchanger and never verify.
i used to use cex.io even traded with fiat, never gave them any ID, deposited crypto, traded with other crypto and fiat and withdrawn crypto in the end.

there is also bittrex that i am using, they haven't yet asked any info.

In my opinion the best mixer is bitmixer.io, its trusted by many people, they are fast and also very secure without any doubts.
If I use the mixer mostly its has been done in 10 minutes, depending on how you do and and what options you choose of course.

I have used cryptomixer once and everything went good. I really don't use this service a lot, but from what I have read in this thread I guess bitmixer is the best option, I will keep this in mind for when I will need to have some privacy again for my coins.

All the service by bitmixer.io had no issue till now including their main mixing service. You can see they have large fund to handle big amount of bitcoin  and they have enough coins to run their signature campaign here for longer time than usual.

From what i know bitmixer was the first and they are probably the best. Not only because they were first but also because they are reliable and
can handle large volumes.

Yes, bitmixer is best and most trusted for me too. There were many reasons, I have analyzed before went for bitmixer. We will be able to get back our mixed coins into any number of address (yes, with some fee) and their algorithm (with some token ) ensures we will not get back our same old coins from previously used addresses.

Bitmixer.io have been around for a while and seem to have a lot of positive reviews. I've never had the need to mix any coins but their site seems simple enough to understand what to do.
My only word of advice is that I'd break down the transactions into smaller amounts. Don't mix your 7 BTC all at once. Although you may incur higher fees, it's always better safe than sorry.

Well stated, Zaun.  I have used bitmixer.io many times, all have worked out just fine.  Their (can be random if you so choose) rates seem to be lower than just about everyone else, "call it" 0.7% (or, say, 0.75% if sending to two addresses).  Once you get the hang of using them (not hard, at least the clearnet version), it's easy and quick.

I am sticking with them.  I am proud to be in their Signature Campaign as they have done me no wrong.

bitmixer so far is the most trusted bitcoin mixer that I know tho here is cryptomixer. You can is it in my signature. They have just launched a few months ago and they are still trying to gain trusts and feedbacks from people. So far, I never encountered any problem in using it. Well even though we want bitcoin industry to become scammer free, whether it is digital or in real life. Scammers are everywhere.

As long as there is food on a location, there would be predators that will just come to eat their prey easily.

And I guess mixers are really designed for people that doesn't want to know where they got their bitcoins.

Do you mean the qckcard.com, seems that I haven't heard before about them but seems a promising service, the 108€ on start to issue the card is too much(meaning that you are paying 3€ each month for three years for maintenance fee). Bitcoin transfer 2% which is sometimes better than bitcoin mixers.

Most common usage (from my point of view) is like this.

What does signature campaigns have anything to do with the type of service they provide? They can run a signature campaign for months and yet run a fraudulent service.Take betcoin.ag for example.Also Bitmixer is weeding out spammers from their signature campaign,make sure you aren't one of them. :)

I agree that having been in the business for so long means something. Especially when it comes to bitcoin. I do think however that in the end time is not the only factor to be taken in consideration. There are some new mixing servers which deserve chance too. Crypto Mixer for example seems to be having a very solid server.

We can never be sure of one's true intentions but those party's are for sure to be trusted.

Everyone who has average skills can protect his privacy without using such services.

They're not useless at all. Rather than using a VPN or proxy constantly it's so much easier to just anonymously mix your coins. I would suggest everyone mix their coins regularly because why not? It's a small price to pay for financial freedom.

Mixers are really helpful for those people who are involved with some fishy transactions and maybe most of the people in deep web uses this.

And even though you had a average skill in hiding your identity as long as you are in the web, don't be too comfortable that no one is able to trace your transactions or bitcoins from where you got it.

Besides, no one will trace you if you don't get involved with illegal transactions. There are some exchange sites from each country that prohibits to buy bitcoins from people who got their bitcoin from illegal source.

So that's the use of mixers in my own understanding, I don't know if there are some who using it daily just for hiding their history of transactions.

It seems like to protect privacy people would need to do both: mixing/coinjoining bitcoins and hide the IP address. I don't see a reason to mix coins if you're going to associate the new coins with your IP address anyway.

Up to my understanding IP address are not binding with bitcoin transactions. Only input and output address are traceable. Maybe a service point of view or from government, we might need to mask our original IP addresses and may need new new IPs. But, that must be totally different case from what benefits we are getting from bitcoin mixers.

This just for eliminating your the history about your transaction of I can say preferring into your trace amount dude. and so, i think it's useful at this time and there is no relationship with the people's skill, although you can using the simplest way for the alternative besides using mixing service.

Despite it popularity, I have never heard any complain against the service may the OP can try it because the popular one mostly can not be a wrong one always. After bitmixer, cryptomixer is gaining popularity here in this forum.

You are correct that Bitcoin transactions do not contain the IP address of their origin. However, it seems likely that many bitcoin nodes are being run for the purpose of spying on the network. With enough nodes, an agent can identify the IP of the node from which the transaction originated.

Coinmixer.se is completly right here. I would refrain from using any kind of wallet with integrated mixer. I heard not so pleasant stories about mixing wallets.
If wallet provider is equally anonymous as users and are using TOR, then what keeps him from stealing your coins other than his word?

You can deposit  bitcoins there and if you want you can even play couple rounds and then get your bitcoins back, that way there is always an option to mix our bitcoins it as well as having fun at the same time if you prefer. (Please note, I am not recommending gambling by any means)

Possible. But we would have to use a really trusted casino. Also, we'd have to wait for the deposits to confirm as well as wait for the casino to process withdrawal. Not really a problem as long as it's a casino that you know has no issues regarding withdrawal. There's also the thing that the transaction would be traced back to a gambling site but that shouldn't be an issue for most.

Does this sound like using exchanges as online wallets ? Why not we use specialized services for a specific requirement ? Currently there are many reliable and cheaper mixing services are available like bitblender and why not make use of them ?

If a Casino pays using same addresses and in long run you maybe tracked and identified somehow then your type of mixing may not serve its real purposes.

Because there are exchange sites that doesn't accept payments that came from gambling sites you still you are required to use some mixing services but I got your point there and that's a good idea though unless the bitcoin you got back will be accepted for whatever purpose you will do.

Bitcoin mixer is jut like any other service. You need to check frst if they are trusted enough and that atleast they are a transparent service which can prove that they really are a reputable site. You can't just use a mixer which is not that known and just appeared, can you?

I checked that site and it is not all that hideous, but the domain is terrible. How someone can expect that people will be using terribad domain name.
Additionally, in their FAQ I read that minimum mixing amount is 0.01 BTC and anything less will be considered a donation.

Updated answer for Dec 17 - since lots of answers on this thread recommended services that have since seized to operate.

The most secure way to mix Bitcoin is  - from experience - to:

1. Exchange the BC to XMR Monero first, by whatever exchange you like - I recommend https://shapeshift.io (https://shapeshift.io)
(Monero uses different, more private technology and most XMR wallets have a mixing parameter by default when sending!)

2. then back to bitcoin via     https://xmr.to (https://xrnr.to)
       - which also inherently mixes the XMR with other XMR then sends you fresh Bitcoin instantly.

Xmr.to is widely used and entirely reliable. Very straightfoward too. Unlike big exchanges, you don't need to register or even use your email. Just amount of bitcoin you want + the address you want it sent to.   Then you get instructions and options of payment by monero. They website sends you the bitcoin so quickly it's very refreshing to see after working with major exchanges.

If they have any issue with their server - the site won't let you proceed with the order and let you know it's offline. When it is offline, it's back up in seconds once you refresh.

All in all, I would say an exemplary service.

 

Bitmixer.io isn't operating anymore but it is still on your list and your thread's last update occurred last January 2017. You should fix that already, I don't have idea about those other mixers that are existing maybe they are not active in advertising. You should also consider that there are some other phishing link that's related to bitblender and it's with ".org" which opposes the original ".io".

My opinion cryptomixer is best and reliable bitcoin mixer. I use it many times without any problems, everything is very convenient.

When was the last time you used or googled bitmixer.io? It was closed some months ago, after closing of two big dark market.
Cryptomixer is old and good, very similar of bitmixer with it's template and functions, they also proved here that they really own 2000 bitcoin reserve. Also can say that bitblender is good option and personally I trust them. Chipmixer is new but has some good and unique options + run signature and I guess they aren't scammers.
P.S don't forget bitmixcoin, they have 10btc in escrow and escrower is zazarb, so it guarantees safety.

With regards to how good bitcoin mixing is, well bitmixer already was closed and I haven't heard any good rather than the new one whose chipmixer right now it did have great profit and their campaigns was doing great. I don't prefer to talk about those other mixers,  because the mindset I have is on those actively having campaigns and that's the assurance for us of trusted mixing services.
