Am I the only one who thinks mixers are useless?
Everyone who has average skills can protect his privacy without using such services.
They're not useless at all. Rather than using a VPN or proxy constantly it's so much easier to just anonymously mix your coins. I would suggest everyone mix their coins regularly because why not? It's a small price to pay for financial freedom. It seems like to protect privacy people would need to do both: mixing/coinjoining bitcoins and hide the IP address. I don't see a reason to mix coins if you're going to associate the new coins with your IP address anyway. Up to my understanding IP address are not binding with bitcoin transactions. Only input and output address are traceable. Maybe a service point of view or from government, we might need to mask our original IP addresses and may need new new IPs. But, that must be totally different case from what benefits we are getting from bitcoin mixers. You are correct that Bitcoin transactions do not contain the IP address of their origin. However, it seems likely that many bitcoin nodes are being run for the purpose of spying on the network. With enough nodes, an agent can identify the IP of the node from which the transaction originated. |

Bitcoin mixer severs the links between your old address and a new address by sending coins from you to other people and coins from them to you.
What if the other person is doing something illegal and LE think you are involved in their racket too (even though your not); referring to the "from them to you" bit? |

Only bitmixer and cryptomixer that i saw here that i already tested here and i think they are still legit and it is good to choose them..
Do you think guys how about the torwallet that has bitcoin mixer? planning to use their wallet but upon searching in google i saw some bad reviews.
Do you have idea or do you tested this wallet that has built in bitcoin mixer? just asking thanks.
If i use bitmixer and crypto mixer it is a thirdparty but i want is a wallet that has already an option to mix bitcoin..

There is no reason to use an online wallet if you can use an SPV wallet like Electrum. Admin of an online wallet can steal your bitcoins and it happens very often. On the other side, the SPV wallets don't rely on a trusted third party and are much more secure. Torwallet is probably a scam: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=112327.0The bitcoin mixer keeps your bitcoins only for a few minutes or hours. You still have to trust it, but at least it doesn't keep all your bitcoins, only one transaction. I would refrain from using any kind of wallet with integrated mixer. I heard not so pleasant stories about mixing wallets. i don't know if there are other good bitcoin mixer but you can try bitmixer.io, [banned mixer] and coinmixer.se actually i haven't tried to use any of them as i haven't tried also to use a bitcoin mixer but when it comes to bitcoin mixer this three is the good choices you can have I guess.

Is it reliable service bitcoin mixing? You don't give the reasons why it is become your favorite mixer and it is new services i have said it on other thread, no one will believe in it and there are no info about mixmybitcoins.com. The most reliable bitcoins mixer is [banned mixer] because they could gave the prove about 2000 BTC in reserve, it can be checked on their thread. |

Possible. But we would have to use a really trusted casino. Also, we'd have to wait for the deposits to confirm as well as wait for the casino to process withdrawal. Not really a problem as long as it's a casino that you know has no issues regarding withdrawal. There's also the thing that the transaction would be traced back to a gambling site but that shouldn't be an issue for most. Thanks. Will check it out in detail soon. |

Does this sound like using exchanges as online wallets ? Why not we use specialized services for a specific requirement ? Currently there are many reliable and cheaper mixing services are available like bitblender and why not make use of them ? If a Casino pays using same addresses and in long run you maybe tracked and identified somehow then your type of mixing may not serve its real purposes. |

Because there are exchange sites that doesn't accept payments that came from gambling sites you still you are required to use some mixing services but I got your point there and that's a good idea though unless the bitcoin you got back will be accepted for whatever purpose you will do. |

Why do people use mixers if their coins are clean?
I'm not bothered about why if they do it to cover anything just wondered why. Bitcoin is anonymous any way so who cares if the coins have been used in darkmarkets before or whatever.
Even if you are not doing anything illegal, some people may not like the fact that some of their transactions could be traced back to them specially if you don't want the rest of the world know about what kind of services or products you are buying. |

Yup, many bitcoin mixing services right now that can be trusted are like, bitmixer and [banned mixer], But everything depend on the users, they use bitcoin mixing services that give them comfort except realible. Personality i used [banned mixer] if i have got profit from gambling. |
