Wery low rewards and too many captchas to solve : first captcha for login, second for reward and third captcha+antibot to cashout. It's not worth to do it for only 50 satoshi.

Did any of you guys read something about the faucet itself? The 50 satoshis you receive now for every share are only a promotion for the launch, not the real reward. Please, take a look to the FAQ page.

For example, at this moment, there are 35400 satoshis for 25 shares today, it minds 1416 SPS (Satoshis per share) This can change, could be higher or lower, but im pretty sure is the highest payout you can find now in any faucet, and as posted above, it is done with a long-term and sustainable model.

And about the captchas and antibots: you only need login the first time you enter the faucet, and you can easily claim your satoshis just once per day; it leaves that all the work is just one (easy) captcha for every share. So, please, do not continue discrediting the page and this thread.

Lets check if that is really true:

98%(100)+1%(750)+1%(1500)=12050 / 100 = 120.50 satoshis every 5 minutes, or 1446 everyhour.

Lets suppose you use your own address as referal = 1446 + 75% = 2530,5.

AFAIK, 2642 > 2530, and i will mention too: 1 easy captcha/hour is better than 12 solvemedia/hour.

So, yes, you use this thread to promote your faucet, but also to say everyone that with that kind of maths it will not stay around for so long.

Most accurate is to know how many shares by average we have everyday: around 600, but this number is increasing slowly, as our site becomes more popular and trustable. How much is it making per day ?

If you are talking about a single user: out top earner gets +10,000 satoshis every day: 3k from shares, 1k from CR, +6k from referrals.
If you are talking about the faucet itself: it cost us some money, around 50-70K satoshis everyday just in payments, plus hosting, dedicated time, etc. LEts say 0.02 BTC monthly (14$)+ hosting (5$) + SSL (soon, 1$) = 20$ monthly. You are right, actually anyone can log into your account and make a withdraw... to your faucetbox account. The user will loss his 1% CR (not a single satoshi from balance) but what will win the "hacker" in this case? Nothing. If the hacker dont have profit, why take the time to do it?

Anyway, the "Add email" option will be implemented in few days (maybe hours); You can link your account with your email and then request the option to autorize all operations via email. Why in this way? Because by this way we dont have to worry about "passwords database steals". You manage your account from your email: it is the safest way.

We want present an apologize if the current captcha system becomes too difficult. We are just doing some bot-detection tests. It will be removed in 1-2 days.

Now, some thoughts...

Adsense banned our account just 4-5 days after we launched this site. (of course, we missed all balance there)
Adhitz banned our site for their ads 15 days later.
Adalso looks like it became scam, and we did not received a single satoshi from them (yet, maybe never). We have 624,000 Satoshis there.
U-ads have our account "pending" more than 1 month ago, and our first withdraw is pending since 2016-07-16 17:18:04. (only 134.000 satoshis, nothing important after all).
We started with Mellow 6 days ago. In those days, we earned 160,000 satoshis with them, but since they have a high fee to withdraw, we still do not received a single satoshi.
A-ads payd always until now: we earned 175.000 satoshis from them since site launch.

As you can check ( http://sharefaucet.xyz/stats.php ) the site shared more than 7,000,000 satoshis from its launch, so our cash balance is -6,800,000 satoshis (-45$ at current price), plus domain, hosting, external services, and specially, countless time to develop a site from scratch, to make it as secure and usefull as possible. If the external service we use to detect if you are using a proxy says that you are using one, IT IS NOT US. If you had 1,000 satoshis in your account and you forgot to switch off the VPN, it is your fail, NOT US. If the external service is wrong and you are not using a proxy, its their fault, NOT US. So, do not blame that we are "stealing" your money or your time.

If you consider our faucet  payments are too low, then do not use it. We plan to include many more contents and services in the future; starting with a faucet is just a good (and cheap) way to enter into the BTC worldwide comunity with a good reputation.

Hey, you know what would be nice? A timer on the site that let's people know when the next day is coming.

In the stats, there is a field SPS (Satoshis per Share):  it shows how much you will receive for each share you have in the current day in real time. What it minds? It is calculated every time the page is loaded, and is a projection for the day based in the hour and the number of shares claimed. Lets use an example: at 6:00 AM there are 100 shares already claimed the present day. It represents a projection of 400 shares for the entire day, so the SPS will be Daily Pot/400. Now, lets say at 1:34 PM (13:34 H) there are 317 shares already claimed; since this field have minute precision, we have

in 814 minutes ---> 317 shares, so we could expect in 1440 minutes ---> 560 shares; the SPS would be (daily pot / 560 ). Of course, this numbers changes all the day, but it is a good reference, along with the last 10 days SPS, also showed in the same page. So, from shares only, you will earn: shares x SPS (example: yesterday, you had 2 shares and SPS was 137, that is the 274 satoshis you earned from shares) Do not forget that every share claim pays 100 satoshis instantly, so, the real value for every share was 237, just filling a ridiculous simple captcha. Yes, there are antibots and recaptcha to cashout, but you do not need cashout everyday, right? And we also offers something innovative in faucets: You can request partial withdraws (instantly too), so you don lost the benefit from the Confidence Reward.

Our server have GMT time. If the script do not detected nothing suspicious the finishing day, the daily pot is shared less that 1 hour after midnight. Of course, some days we need more time to check bots, VPN and other issues, but in 2 months it never took more than 3 hours. Anyway, we will look forward for your suggestion, maybe not a timer but a date-time info in the header. (submit a support ticket in the web letting us know that you had the idea por the timer and your account will receive a nice reward)

As the first post says, our bussiness model is to run for a long term. Even with adsense ban and all other add networks giving us more troubles than money, the faucet itself is not the only content to be implemented. Many more are going to ble added, but honestly, im the main developer and i have a real work (also in internet) which leaves me not enough time as i expected at the begining. But the goal is to make this page profitable, and the 50$ spent until now was a good investment (i learned a lot from BTC community)

Faucetbox collapse is not our fault... but neither our users responsability, so we will priorize direct cashouts over other functionalitys we are working now (add email, exchange, etc)

Of course, we need know how we could handle with the commisions. Our first idea will be to have direct cashouts without any fee; if it is too expensive, we could try to manage it manually from an online wallet (xapo?) Any ideas about this? We consider ridiculous some faucets with a minimum of 25K satoshis for direct payments and 10K of fees!!

I don't mind thresholds, if I make a decent daily claim. Your site helps with the bonus share reward (if people claim several times a day, they can make over 1k from their share commission), but your site doesn't have a lot of users yet either, so this allows a high share price at the end of the day. Unless you plan on increasing your share bonus when you get more members, this can be a bad thing for share holders as the site grows popular.

Best thing to do in your predicament (imho) is do manual pay every so few days (or once a week), with no threshold. Just let your users know that they need to request it before so many days/hours of your manual sending. This way you can do a blockchain, and only have to pay one fee (I think that's how it works).

I would still keep faucetBOX available; and don't worry, we all know that the faucetBOX thing is not your doing.

Daily share pot is increasing in the way our members base growths. It was 50K at the beginning and is now 150K.

Why we use this system?

- We can know how many satoshis we will pay. This is true even for the instant payment. If the script detects that one day there are 15% more claims than the previous day, there will be not more shares that day; the share button will not appear for the users, instead, a message "We do not have more shares today". This is usefull to avoid drastical falls in the SPS value too, because an unexpected big growth in faucets just minds one thing: BOTS.
- Discourage bots for the low instant reward (100 sats)
- We avoid massive cashouts; you cant imagine how many users cashout EVERY 100 satoshis; if the reward is higher, this percentage will growth.
- Every user who claims one share, will return the next day to get his piece of the pot.
- We save a good ammount of satoshis in dead claims. Around 30% of the shares are never claimed. It allows us keep a good SPS for active users.

As for manual payments, i guess you are talking about the way freebitco.in works. It is a good idea, but honestly, i need to learn how i could implement it. Meanwhile, i were thinkin in manual cashouts with 5K treshold (to be sure there will be not many request daily) and payments every day.

Actually I never used proxy/VPN. Just once went to the faucet from my mobile
where the browser is with turbo-mode on.
The system sees the turbo-mode as a proxy cheating.

Well, we just checked that our faucet was removed from ifaucet.net list. We hope it is only temporary, but it looks like some kind of reprisal against us for not allowing bots and scammers in our site.
Since ifaucet.net only provides extremely low quality traffic (Russia+Ucrania mostly), and in this days, that kind of traffic is not necessary for faucet owners, it is not bad news after all.

Where I set password and email control panel, it had my wallet address visible to me, it looks like I could change my wallet address to another one that I use, and that would require email verification just like on other websites.

Now i understand, but this is not the case.
Since our site is a bitcoin related webpage, bitcoin addresses are the main ID, even over emails, so can not be changed. Maybe, since the address is already visible in the shares page, is a little redundant to show it again in the settings panel. But we will leave it, since may be a good idea to  add an option to change the btc address with a signed message, somethink like this: "Im the owner of the address (btc address) and i want change it to (new btc address)".
The email verification system was added to enable password protection (if you add passwords without email, every day some people will forgot their pass and will not have a way to recover their access) and to add an extra secure protection for transactions with new features to be added as soon as our BTC core is up to date (updating 7 weeks ago blocks).

- We finally assume that u-ads, adalso and adbit are only a waste of time-space. (adalso very probably is a scam, and we do not received a single satoshi from them; u-ads and adbit pays a derisory fee) so we will continue only with mellow and a-ads by the moment.
- We reached -100$ in flow balance since launch. It is time to begin to break even, as we can not keep losig money indefinitely meanwhile we improve our site and keep trust as high as possible. We are losign acually 80-90K satoshis everyday (plus hosting and other payments). We will study some actions to growth our incomings without reduce the payouts. Anyway, we are very confidence that the new features to be added soon will make the site profitable in the short term.
- As mentioned earlier, we already purchased the SSL certificate for our site. In few hours it will be installed.

- We try to find ways to, at least, make the site break even in the short term, so we could focus in improve the site and add new features. Some options we are studying:
a) Our currents add networks pays only for unique views. Its minds that, in theory, our incomes should not fall drastically if we increase the timer up to 24 hours (or one share per day). This is the most probably scenario right now. Of course, the direct payment will be higher, and for sure, the SPS a lot higher.
b) Add a tier for countries:
Tier 1: Russia, Ukraine, India, Brazil: 0 sats instant, 1 share per claim.
Tier 2: All other countries, except tier 3: 100 sats+1 share (same as now)
Tier 3: USA, UK, Australia and Canada: 200 sats + 2 shares per claim.
c) Risky move: High rewards with a treshold based on the claimed ammont. For example: 1000 sats per claim: you will be able to withdraw any ammount over 1000 always, but if you want withdraw the 1000, you will need to play that ammount at least 10 times in different games (dices, roullete, poker, etc) The same way as bet sites uses for deposit bonus.
d) Down the payout: dangerous, as we could lost many users.

EDIT: Cashouts locked: We found a bug that allows users request a cashout for more than their balance. We implemented a security system to lock cashouts if a user have a negative balance. We will check it and re-enabled cashouts once it is fixed.

UPDATE: We have detected what went wrong. We are fixing it as it is not nothing serious. We just lost 770 satoshis. Hopefully, withdraws will be reenabled today.

- Our users starts falling since ifaucet.net banned us. Why we can not attract more new users?
a) Payments are not really low (+250 satoshis/hour + 1% cofindence) Yes, freebitco.in pays 350/hour, but they do not have free instant withdraws. Also, 25% for referrals is above the market average.
b) Site itself is not tricky or difficult. You even do not need register to earn.
c) We do not allow any kind of malicious connections, but we use 2 different external services to check and we only refuse users when both services said they are malicious.
d) Until now, we paid our users for 72 days ALWAYS instantly, without a single exception. The 2 days cashouts were locked for few hours, we keep here the updates.
e) We keep a open thread here since the first day. Our site is in continuosly improvement (new features, SSL, friendly UI...)

So, what are we missing? Must we allow scamers to attract low-rentability users? I hope not.

We are studying run an add campaing in mellow to advertise our site, but this only will be done when most of the new features are fully implemented.

I think the dice game/jackpot might help. The only drawback to your site for me, is the constant having to log in (freebitco.in doesn't log you out), so each time you visit the site to claim, you're having to enter in to captchas.

Another thing that probably slows down referrals is the shares. You see, the more people involved= the more times someone has to claim tickets in order to make a 'decent' amount. You might be better off doing what dance faucet is, and giving a value to each ticket using a percentage of the profits that the site made that same day. Whereas, 150k sats isn't going to give much if say, 50k tickets were sold to 3000 users.

Obviously the more users you have, the more profit you should make, so that's why I suggest the dance faucet.

2 more things I can suggest:

A minimum betting amount for the dice game, and a 50-50 raffle system (site gets 50%, winner gets 50%).

- I will implement a cookie to keep the session open, maybe it could help.

Raffle:
A 50/50 raffle works like this:

Say tickets cost 100 satoshies. 50 of every ticket sold goes to the Raffle pot (one lucky winner gets this), and 50 of it goes to site (to fund the users with satoshies for whatever reason). You don't even have to start the Raffle off with a balance. Basically, you'll be paying out less satoshies, simply by having this feature, because half of whatever is spent on the Raffle is returned back to you.

So if ten people buy five ticket each, the pot would have 2500 satoshies in it (100 ticket cost, multiplied by 10 people, multiplied by 5, divided by 2). The winner will have profited 2000 sats(after taking out 500 for cost of five tickets), the site will have profited 2500.

200 satoshi every 24 is just too low. If you had regular users, you will lose lots of them. Users who will stay are users who claimed once per day, but even those users won't come back every day, and after few days they will forget your faucet. I don't think this was smart thing to do.

We understand that, but let me point some details you do not mention:

- Is not only 200 satoshis every 24 hours; there is also a share, which will have a higher value now (+1200 satoshis is the SPS now for today) So, +1000 sats daily for just 1 claim, is a bad reward? We do not think so.
- If the faucet hunters do not like us, we could survive with that (As we mentioned many times in the past, we really do not want faucet hunters in our site) But we can not survive with a negative cash flow everyday.
- The faucet itself was only the first feature implemented, but we are not only a faucet. We are implementing many more things in our site.
- If the bussiness model now is wrong, we can change it again, we are just testing results; but we do not hurt users: we keep 1% reward, 25% for referrals and instants cashouts. If the faucet is not attractive now for any active user, is free to leave inmediately; we do not activate any kind of treshold to hold users.

If you have no concern, I think it works great for the users, as you're right, the pay will be quite a bit with the claimed share. Some of us might even make more than we did before (or around the same). Most will make less, yes.

But yeah, 1k a day is not bad at all for one log in.

- Uses VPN, Thor and proxy to have multiple account in the same faucet in case the site do not have good protection against this issues.

Actually, we can not imagine a way to offer a decent payment in our faucet, since incomes are not enough to cover operational costs (hosting, work, etc) and every single visit generates around 50 satoshis (yes, only 50 satoshis) We are actually sharing +130,000 satoshis everyday and our income is around 15,000.
Implementation of new features takes longer than expected, and the market is becoming unprofitable everyday. So we will make some changes to keep the faucet alive; yet losing money, but less.
