Hi Everyone!

A lot of us love to play minecraft and there is one thing that is more interesting about it.

Players of minecraft can now easily buy in-game currency and blocks using bitcoins. Bitquest, a minecraft server is the first to utilize bitcoin for its economic component in which players can USE and EARN BTC within the Minecraft game. It does not earn you much but this is like earning bitcoin while doing your thing.

Last I heard of this server it was no longer running, tons of lag and griefers running rampant. Has this changed recently?

How easy is it to earn ? Can ypu earn a reasonable amount ? And is it fun ? The people are nice and the map is big with lots to mine and to build ? Or not as much ? Above poster says it was a toxic community.

Please give some more information like how long you played there and how much you earned in the time.

In my opinion, it is not really about earning bitcoin inside the minecraft game. It is still about enjoying playing with it, with added features to make it more exciting. I have been playing minecraft long enough for some time yet I just started using bitcoin with it and still exploring. :)

You can earn through selling items especially the valuable ones. If you are good at finding valuable items or blocks inside minecraft, then it would be easy for you to sell and earn.

As we have said you can not earn really a lot. It is just an added element in the game to make it more exciting. The average price of blocks is 23bits which is equivalent to 0.000023 BTC. For you to earn 1 BTC, you need to sell approximately 43,000 blocks.

It is a fun game just like other RPGs because you get to collect and build something. You also get to meet other online players. :)

The server is still alive. They have just been down for a while.  :) :)

let me put it this way for those of you who are thinking about making money this way.
if you are not a minecraft fan and if you do not enjoy the game itself then going in only for the money is a total waste of your time. because the earning is not what you think it is.
so only do it if you are already enjoying the game, so playing for money is only a bonus.

I am not a Minecraft player, but I think it would be cool, if you could physically mine for Bitcoin on that server. Destroying something to get to the hidden bitcoins. ^smile^ ???

Well, this is great cause you earn bitcoin in just playing this game. This is good way to enjoy and also earn instead of boring faucets. Try to higher your prize im sure this game will be better. Minecraft is a good game, anyone can play this game.

I would like to hear from people who have been earning using this system.  It is hard to understand how the game could make money from giving it away.  There has to be some catch or something.  Please give us all some reports.

haven't played such game before? this means that we download the game and then connect to the  Bitquest server correct?
users my want to try and a little time to entertain themselves while waiting for price of altcoins they invest before dumping.  ;D

I was not expecting such. It is actually a lot. It is just for a game so a nice extra. I thought much less then that. I never played Minecraft what is a block and how do I get one ? How long will it take ?

If playing this would really earn me some bitcoin ?? it would be great though coz i can install it to my little brother and he will do the thing to play it for me. haha. this would be nice.

That would be a good idea but remember your brother might also spend all your bitcoins. So maybe you can teach your little brother to spend wisely.

How many you can earned from that game is well worth the time it has spent probably the game great for children to learn about bitcoin.

While this seems to be a worthwhile adventure, I mean earning bitcoin doing what I basically do on other servers, wouldn't this be something that violates Microjang's EULA? I remember reading that they actually started enforcing it in a way 1.9.4+ in where EULA-non-compliance caused your server to become blacklisted in the core game and made it unable to connect to from the vanilla launcher. Also, Bitquest does not require 3rd-party mods to be installed? However, checking their reddit and the launcher, this server is currently down and has been down for about 3 days now..

There have been a lot of times Bitquest was down. Hope they could get back again or if so, hope they could resolve the problems. :)

Not much and it depends on you playing the game. You can sell items such as blocks and blocks can be sold at 23 bits or 0.000023 BTC. If you find rare items and you can sell them in bigger prices.  :)

Yes. You have to download the game,install it in your device or computer and connect to the Bitquest server. As of this time, Bitcoin is the most competitive Cryptocurrency and will always will IMHO. :)

Minecraft is a good game and is more better with Bitcoin. Hope other games will integrate with Bitcoin too, like Pokemon Go. :)

We do not know how long will be the Pokemon Go phenomenon lasts. So, I believe Bitcoin will be one of their strategies to maintain the game in the mainstream. What do you think?

Not time yet for Pokemon Go to embrace Bitcoin because it is still on its peak. I guess Pokemon Go will definitlely need Bitcoin in the future. :)

Seems.like its fun but the price every blocks are very cheap. But its good to see games that can earn btc when it played. Hope pokémon go also make this cool idea. Im sure crypto users will more active catching pokémons. Theres also rare pokémons which can sell to btc. 

if pokemon go implements the same the already crippled servers will get blasted long time!!!..but it would be nice to have it though as you said

If you are a new player who is going to be playing minecraft just for bitcoins you wont be earning too much because till the time you get the hang of it most experienced players would be doing the same thing and they would naturally be earning more.

Earning Bitcoin in minecraft is just an added feature. It makes existing players enjoy more the game and invites people in the Bitcoin community to play the game. This is how a win-win strategy works if an online game integrates with bitcoin. :)

Before playing, you need to have a good internet connection so you can play with the server. :)

I'm really loving this, its pretty cool to earn bitcoins for playing minecraft, due to this you keep playing and minecraft itself is already cool.
Really looking the idea that people are doing this, I never have done it yet but I will soon because its sounding so cool.

If we can earn real bitcoin,can we withdraw them to our wallet? I am not a minecraft fan but being a game lover I can give it a try if it gives me an additional opportunity to earn some bitcoins

Definitely yes. we can withdraw our funds out from minecraft the same as we can deposit. Minecraft has bank systems inside the game where you can transfer funds from and to. :)

I don't consider my self a minecraft player and it's been more than a year since the last time i tried the game,but out of curiosity,how much can you earn per day when you play?
Minecraft is huge and i think this is a great opportunity to promote Bitcoin especially at young ages.

It would be nice to gain bitcoins with minecraft, I also think that I'm gonna try it out very soon but I fist have to find a good server to do this.
I hope more servers will be doing this soon or later.

Basically, minecraft is a game. It is not a way to earn. Its acceptance of bitcoin is just an added feature to it so we should expect that much. :)

I think we should indeed not expect too much but its still very nice to earn bitcoins with minecraft.
Its just a very enjoying game and than you are also gaining a little bit of bitcoin.

Earning some bitcoins with minecraft is nice but its of course not about the big number earnings.
You can better script things for minecraft server, its fun to do and way more profitable.
Of course that is not for everyone easy to do..

But the question is , that is it profitable by earning using this game, and I guess its not. Its only for fun than earning with it.

You are right. Playing Minecraft with Bitcoin will not earn you much. It is just an added feature for players to enjoy.:)

Same thing here too. I have created account on minecraft some times back itself but have never play game there, but since we are now talking of money making potentialas with the site, I think, good to pay some attention there may it could be my lucky but trying in free time to make good money with minecraft will not harm any way.

If they accept pirate version of the game I would try this method to see how much I can earn in game. But those servers paying BTCs usually just accept original game accounts. So, to try it we must to buy the game first. And I think it doesn't worth to buy the game just to test the "earning some satoshis method".

There's already a way to earn bitcoins or money in general in minecraft. It's when you make your own server. I heard that players are buying positions/titles and stuff in minecraft. The only one who's earning is the owner and the co-owners of the server so you have to be the owner of the website.

Anyway, any game that let's you earn money would never give you that much anyway except for games like CS:GO and DotA2 where people actually spend a lot of money for the skins and items.

Nice point there but the main focus here is Bitcoin promotion. It is not really into earning big but enjoying the game with the use of Bitcoin. Thanks for the information you gave about server owners and the stuff.  :)

Yes, games are always not for earning, very similar to gambling. I have tried different strategies to play perfect in minecraft, instead of trying with it if I would have tried in other fields like trading or graphic designing I might got many chances to earn better. Only one advantage : helped me to burst stress and entertained me.

Yes. We all love to play for sometime just to get away from work and earning a little while playing adds up to the entertainment. :)

It seems like Pokemon Go is not that Phenomenal now as it is before. How about integrating Bitcoin?  :)

I have been wanting to play but I need to find minecraft going for sale at a good price. Obviously a legit copy. Maybe I could pay it off playing this game do you think I could ?

Like all the other "Earn money while you play" schemes on the internet, this server basically functions like a faucet. It pays you barely a couple of cents for hours of playtime.

Actually mixing work with pleasure is a good thing. If you enjoy your work you will be successful. What's the point on doing work that you dont get excited about or that is fun ? I wouldn't want to live that way that is for sure.

As Decoded says, it's just a faucet combined with Minecraft. Don't expect to earn much from it, in fact the cost of running your PC and Internet would be bigger than what you would earn from it.

Nonetheless, it's great for educational purposes to teach kids about bitcoin ;)

And being paid for playing a game you'd be playing anyways, regardless of how much, is better than doing the exact same thing and getting nothing.

Well, the main topic here is the game Minecraft which lets players use and earn Bitcoin. The thread is not about earning serious amount of Bitcoin by playing the game. There is a difference. :)

Well, I just want to go back to the main topic here which is earning & using Bitcoin while playing the minecraft game and isn't about working.

if you like the game then good but how long o you need to play using your serve to earn a decent amount of satoshi if it low then what is the benefit to using you server to using the main one  is your serves and items you sell for bitcoin al legit and what get banned.

I do not think you should see it as work due to the fact its something that is nice to do and you are enjoying yourself and make a very small amount of money for nothing just having fun.

Playing the game isn't about earning after all. You will just be enjoying something new from the original one. :)

Pretty nice if you are asking me, I love to do it sometimes and that you can now earn some money while enjoying is very very nice without any doubts!

This is nice indeed, enjoying yourself and getting payed for it, its maybe a small amount but still worth it if you love playing the game.

There are even some sellers here on the forum that can most likely help you to get a minecraft account for free that is 100% legit, I'm pretty sure about it.

It is true that all around the world many of the people are playing minecraft games. It's a good thing if the player are earning bitcoin while playing the games , ust don't forsake there study or job.

Was that a legit idea for a minecraft game to be exactly a fan for it? I don't think it's needed because if you wanted to earned bitcoin it doesn't have to be fanatic even in games and all you need to do is learn their ways if those who played; really could have bitcoin to earn. So if you might be interested to earn using this kind of game, try practicing this now and I am sure you'll learn soon.

Not sure if it still runs but you'd be lucky to get $1 in a day. It paid very, very little. It's not meant to be a profit machine, but to reward you for what you already do. So $0.10 is still $0.10 you didn't have before.

I like minecraft games, but the problem is how am I gonna have this game to play with it while earning bitcoin? Am I gonna download it first? how? do you have any procedures that I can follow as my reference instruction. Any assistance is pretty appreciated, thanks :D

Minecraft is absulotely a good game and i really appreciate that bitcoin is partnered with it. It is a good way of enjoying and earning although it has its flaws but it can be dealt with. In this generation we need not just to enjoy but also think of amazing ways to earn.

How much investment would it take and what would be the profits? does it take anything other than capital to build up income? can you show payment/proof thanks, seems interesting.
