Well , let's say you made about 0.02-0.03 BTC , can you start trading ? is there any limits for trading like minimum and maximum amount ?
where you guys think is a good place to start a trade ? share your trading experiments and recommendation.

That's enough, I started with less, start at polo..

Its not about how much money you have to trade, its all about how ready you are to start trading.
You can start trading after you learn about what kind of coins you want to trade.
You can start trading after you learn about what makes the price of that coins rise or drop.
fulfill your head with knowledge about market, and start.

Theres no minimum or maximum amount to start trading and if you have little budget to start with well thats ok aslong as your doing a good and wise trade you can really earn money with this doing, but if you have bigger capital you can also earn bigger profit for this but you must also remember that trading have losses so thats why you should really be carefull on selecting those coin yoy wish to buy since some of the existing coin in the exchangers are scam coins.

It is all about how much return you ll be able to make with your investment.

Some people can turn 0.02 into 2btc's in a few days, while the other one can turn 10btc into 5btc overnight. Those are the possibilities.

Altcoin trading is something i would evade btw. Too many scams going on there.

Trading requires patience , If you don't have patience , you shouldn't start trading. Also , It's not an easy job unless you know what you are doing and I don't think you could do much when the price is stable (at least not with a small amount you have)  as trading is based on selling high and buying low.



Assuming that price is stable at 500$ , how would you turn 0.02BTC or 2BTC ? I don't think that's possible ... unless you are speaking about gambling which isn't considered as a form of trading or investment.

Minimum is 10,000 satoshi in exchanger you can start with just amount but seriously it's too small and it's hard to make it large even you try multiply it, im starting 0.07 and  I did it 0.13 in just one trade only but now I'm in lost and waiting to pump again the coin that I buy. I suggest for you to choose wise before buying a coin.

You can start trading with that amount but   you must remember and learn the most important things in trading which would give you idea if you decide to  focus on trading. This thing requires patience and some  analytical and good observation skills. I think thats the right time to  start trading if you think that youre ready enough to  engage into it.

Anytime you have a free time , you can trade an altcoin.
But you must prepare the patient and your money for invest , also you must choose right coin to invest for prevent the cut loss.

with a capital I think it's pretty much for trading, you can see a variety of coin on ploniex, I suggest you old coin trading course

Polo is good for starting altcoin trading however if you have low amount than you can try to trade some low volume coins in yobit and c-cex where price get keep on pumping and dumping so risk is high but you can actually multiply your 0.01 - 002 btc you have to build initial bankroll to start professional trading in poloniex.

Learn to swim by swimming.. You only have what .02 BTC who cares if you loose it all.. If you loose it all the way down to .005 just keep on trying. Don't stop until you've lost it down so low that you have to add more to meet minimum trade fees though I doubt that will happen quickly..

If you get the hang of it you can turn that .005 back into 1.5 BTC if you have what it takes and the ambition..

as early as possible to start trading it's good, as trading has a good future I think.
when I started trading with very small amounts of about 0.005-0.01. it is difficult to get a profit of small capital, but you can choose a coin with a low price, it enough to feels when we get a profit.

You can definitely do some trading with 0.02-0.03 BTC, but you must stick to doing altcoin trading and accept the high risk that is involved with altcoins. Nowadays Poloniex is the place to be for people interested in altcoins.

The minimum most of the time is 0.0001 so you are free to start trading, but take care because there are many coins that can their value dropped dramatically so don't invest all your money on one coin first, analyze the sell buy order, the daily exchanged volume of that coin and don't expand to trade many coins at the same time because it is stressing.

In that amount you can start trading but keep in mind that the most important things in trading is to analyze and  be patience, these aspects are your weapon if you decide to  focus on trading. don't forget your good observation skills.

When the price is low, just buy and start trading, you know we should buy in dip, sell on news.

what you have is more than enough to start trading but it doesn't mean it is easy. the only limits that i can think of is the minimum volume that you can place in an order which is different in different exchanges and also the maximum amount is sometimes have some limits in some of the exchanges unless you verify your account with them.

Even I trading with 1 bitcoin capital I feel so hard to earn for living.
Think to get 10% profit daily or even for 5% only I am struggling as he'll .
Only miracle could bring 10,000 satoshi to make a living from trading,  or it is just will wasted time.

anyways, to start trading you can have a very small amount like OP says, the 0.02-0.03BTC is enough to start trading and making some profit.

and remember that you can't start making millions the first day you started to trade, you have to advance slowly, start from a small amount then add to your capital little by little. if you get in with 1BTC and lose 10% of it you will give up the first day. but losing 10% of 0.02BTC is nothing to give up trading for.

Does the bold sentences have referred the profit or capital you wanna start trading? but if that refers the capital for you to starting into trading it's very very small in my minds, in trading is not having a minimum and the maximum amount to starting in them, only there the recommended amount or not recommended amount. for the place is best to choosing the place is having a good reputation, you can searching on the another topic about this.

yes you can start trading with this much. it is $12-$18 which is a very small amount but not that bad to begin with. especially if you are not looking for withdrawing that "small" amount from the exchange site then you don't have to worry about small amount.


there is a minimum for the bid/ask volume of your orders that you place. it is usually between 1000-50,000 satoshi and it is different in different exchanges. (it is 0.01BTC in one exchange)
there is no max to my knowledge.


for trading bitcoin/fiat I recommend kraken or btc-e
for altcoins I recommend bittrex, poloniex, c-cex

and stay away from yobit.

but grew it over time.

As long as you have enough bitcoins to trade over the minimum limit of your trading exchange you can trade.
The amount you trade only effects the amount you make but it won't stop your percentage. If you have 1 bitcoin and make 10% that's 0.1 , if you have 0.02 and make 10% that's 0.002, you still make profit but lesser.

Tough if you mean if you can make HUGE returns than you have to be lucky. Thanks to bitcoins decentralized status and volatility that's possible as well . Some people lose tens of coins but that means the others make that much.
If you catch wave of some pump and dumps that means you can make couple hundred percent of your initial investment. That's a BIG risk tough.

for me the best timing in trading is when we are in a state of calm .. mindset closely would make us produce the right decision.

those amount is very enough to be your basic capital of trading and even some people have less than that including me and my advice is with those amount altcoins trading is more better than bitcoin trading also for me trading is not only basic capital of money because huge money will not automatically got big profit

i think with 0.02-0.03 BTC, we can start trading and there is no limits or minimum for start trading. for start, my suggestion is we can try in poloniex or yobit. poloniex have many potential coins that can up in one night, and yobit have many coins that only 1 satoshi in rate. when i was start for trading, my budget is only 0.03 BTC and i started in poloniex.

What is the cheapest price as per you? I don't think anyone can predict this lowest price accurately because no one knows it. Instead of waiting for the lowest price just start accumulating small quantities whenever you think a price is good and sell when you make some decent profit. But this process takes some time to give a profit but safer than doing a day trading.

I think 0.2-0.3 BTC is a decent start in trading. Well in my personal experience, I was only started trading with a capital of 0.003 BTC. Then I use the spread method then I can have at least 2-3 cycles a day. In approximately one week, I grow my BTC into 0.045 from 0.003 :) When is it to start trading? Well in that case, you are to trade if you already know some strategy in trading so your coins will not turn into ash, then you should be aware to those scam coins which the newbies often falls into the trap of these coins.

i say start today.
the sooner you start trading the sooner you learn things about it. you only have to take the initiative and get your hands dirty so to speak.
as others have explained the limits i will not get into that but only remember that trading is hard but you need to have patience and some experience that you gain over time in order to be successful in it.

Having that amount of BTC is enough but when you start trading you should already have an idea of how trading works, what is the price to sell so that you can earn a profit. You should have a trading method that you will follow and stick to it and you can learn what will be your best method by testing it and then have tweaks or adjustments depending on what is compatible and profitable for you. As to minimum and maximum amount, there are different sites and different amount also. For my experience, I am still a newbie in trading but by doing it like trading small amounts and setting my target price to profit, I am earning and experience would be the best teacher so if I am confident enough that I already have gained a significant experience then I would go for a higher trade amount.

I start trading from about 0.005 BTC, it was because I was totally new to trade, and I want to invest a lowest amount so that I will not lose any bigger amount, after that I remained successful and I increased my amount of trade , so I continued in this way like increasing my amount of trade and at the same time I continued to learn.

i think we can start in small amount like 0.001 but if we don't have bitcoin in poloniex wallet, and we only have altcoins, i think its enough to start trading. maybe later i will try to open new account and trying to deposit altcoin and not bitcoin. i think poloniex will allow us to trade.

there are a lot of altcoin exchanges that you can find online, one of them is poloniex. and all of them allow a very small amount of deposit and you can then make smaller orders. the limit is usually from 1000 to 50000 satoshi for the order volume you place.

for me with 0.02-0,03BTc i can start trading in poloniex, too buying low rate altcoin, under 100sat is ok.
take profit arround 20-30% per trade, or we can holding for wome month to double our bitcoin.

Anytime is a good time for you to start trading as long as you are ready to take risk,to learn ,to earn or lose its all part of it that you will experience . Regarding minimum and maximum amounts ? I don't know what is the limit for maximum amount im sure you will spend all your money on one trade ,but 20Btc is too big amounts .minumum is 0.0001 on cex exchange and i was able to start trading with only 0.008 till then it grows up to 0.04 then i add and spend again to buy different altcoins. I used to trade on cex as my first time to trade next is yobit .bittrex is good if younhave big amounts to spend in .
All in all you must charge experience before you start big amounts to trade in cause it requires a knowledge for you to handle pump and dump situation ,scam coins .well you must learn to go with the flow with your own stratedgy to earn especially short term and for long term trading.

Actually you are right anything you can afford to start trading is nice since you can still earn profit with it in ideal way of tradings and actually you can gather huge amount from it if you are lucky enough to buy those cheap coins and suddenly pump so hard and reach the price for more higher, but we must be carefull on trading since tradings is not all about earnings and their are still losses if we don't think smart upon selecting those altcoins.

I think trading without enough knowledge is just worthless. The best moment to start trading come after spending a lot of hours online learning about the market and the chart, and the best altcoins to trade

After reading and learning enough about trading, and after studying well the market, you can then start trading without any issue. But without doing the previous steps it will be risky and you can lose money easily

First look at some technical analysis.
Most exchanges helpfully have candlestick graphs for each coin to help you anyway, so make sure you know what they mean and some common patterns to look out for.
Make sure you understand the lingo of trading. If someone says the market has a bullish sentiment or if they talk about a breakout, do you know what they mean?
Keep some indicators up your sleeve as a warning of when to exit a trade, and NEVER listen to the chat on the exchange (full of pumpers and FUD).

Better to start trading bitcoin against fiat, which has less risk. Once you are comfortable, dive into the world of altcoins (higher risk and reward, more research about the altcoin required).

I think tthe good time to start trading is when you grasp the basic  knowledge of trading.  Done a research on the item or coin you like to trade.  And have an appropriate funds to do your trading.  I think that will be the good time to start trading, more likely this approach minimize the risk you have to take when it comes to trading.

You are riht and because of that I started to trade with smaller amount as if a person do not know anything about a filed then investing in that field is like putting your money into a blind well, about which no one know that how much is it deep .

Sometime people are asking that they are late to start the bitcoin, than i reply them, no way, thats all are crypto currencies, and in these currencies always have up and down, so what the matter if we late, matter is that how we utilize it and make profit.

I started trading with 500K satoshi. At poloniex, the minimum order will be 100K satoshis. Your 0.02BTC is large enough to start trading. The only question now is if you are knowledgeable and determined enough to take the risk of trading. Aside from financial preparedness, you should also be emotional and intellectually prepared to trade. I think those two is more important than just having enough bitcoins to trade.

Some times is is better to start trading after the price has rised because you can make more money with something that has a higher value than when it is to low for people.

True the best time to start trading is when you absorbed the most knowledge possible without actually diving in.

Er, anytime is good, but it really depends on what exactly you're trading.  Sometimes you can ride a momentum wave right to the frigging bank, and other times coins are stuck at a certain price for months on end.  As Omegastarscream has said, it requires patience.  I would also add that it takes well-developed testicles as well, because some of these price swings can induce nausea.  Big time.  If you're prepared to lose everything, go for it.

But I will always say, just hold bitcoin.  That's the best bet.

Good time to start trading? I think it is with every hyped new ICO. Watch news and learn about new project.
These events tends to be good trading opportunities - at least initially, later you might want to dump all tokens and move to another ICO.

And as far as I know you can start trading at the minimum amount of the trading exchange platform from 0.0001 BTC. Moreover, there is no maximum amount in trading but there is minimum amount as I mentioned. And you can start trade in bittrex, poloniex, c-cex.

when the price of the bitcoin drops you need ot trade bacyuse you will have the best time of rising so maybe you will make the best trade of your period that is why dtrades

I think the best time to start trading is when you already have capital regardless for being low or high capital. Not all old altcoins are good to invest only some of them just see its market first and its volatility .If you are a new trader you must try it first in old coins then if you're ready jump on to other new coins .

i always use coinmarketcap to see which altcoin i should start invest and trade ,
an old altcoin doesn't guarantee you a bright future ,

Amount to start trading very freely whatever you use. But if to start trading is better to use the smallest amount in advance or may take advantage of demo trading to understand the trade. Because trade requires an understanding because it was the first trade is as learning so it is advisable to use a small amount or demo trading. No time limit to start the trading, Firstly when you know about trading, that trading is something, than search about it that you can do it or not. But as everyone know that trading is difficult to understand, actually I mean trading is not difficult, the way how to play it and information about the coin which you want to buy and knowledge how to handle it, that's all are  difficult and need time.

There is no time to start in trading, as long you have a funds to
trade with. Any amount of btc can start in trading, but keep in

That's right there is no specific timing to start trading as you can start it even with a small capital but you should jump into it only if you are confident and have gained good knowledge of it.

I agree with you that he should learn all the nitty-gritty of trading citcoin/altcoins before fully involving his real money into trading, but as the case of waiting for the price of bitcoin to go low he may be waiting forever to see that happen because there is no any assurance that the price will fall.

Well not all the time. As you've said we have to first know tha right time on when to buy and when to sell btcs or other alt coins. For me i try to study first the history of the alt coin i'm about to trade because from here, you'll pretty much have an idea on when the  price would be low enough to buy and a decent idea also of when it's time to sell

If you are 80% familiar and knowledgeable on how trading works that will be the right time to start it. yeah rigth now i am getting some losses, i invested in some altcoins thinking that their price will go high and actually it is going down, so my analysis was wrong, so i dont know i sell and assume those losses or wait to see if they recover and their price go high again,

Yes! there is a limits for trading in every exchange platform like in yobit you can transfer bitcoin there at minimum 0.001BTC this was my experienced to that site, then 0.002BTC in bittrex exchanges site. In my own experiece, before I start trading I looked for someone like a mentor so in case I'm hesitant to do something I can ask him right away. I think the real time to start trading is not based on how many btc you have. For me it's start if yoi already know a lot in that trading system and if you're guided by a professional trader. I think it is good time to start trading when you are ready .because i am not ready to trade i have no any idea for now and in financial i have no money to spend yet .My friend told me that i need about 0.01-0.05 to start on trade .Now i do some research how it actually works and watching some videos about they called forex trade .

First of all, a newbie is called a newbie because he is new. You can't know a lot about the trading system if you're new to it. No one started with a good knowledge about something. The chance of you getting guided by a professional trader is quite low. Most of us are alone in the Internet world. You could start trading even with just 500k satoshis. It is not a problem with the trading site. The problem would be the income. It might take long for you to double that money and get that .01 that your friend is advising to you.
Maybe he said that for you to make the faster route of making profits. I do not suggest that also.
Start with as little as you can. Just the amount to where you are comfortable with and pick something that you think will make you some money even with just 10-20 percent of it then get out. No need to force it.

Having mentor is a good idea but I think they may be very expensive, And if they are expert in trading why they teach you they only make money. Suppose if you get a good mentor it's good for you, they will teach you how to do safe trading. There are still mentors out there that just want to share knowledge and they don't mind the money that will given to them. I also encountered that kind of mentor and to be honest he teaches me how to trade altcoins and do short and long trading and he didn't charge me for his teachings and now i can do trading by myself and that is the proof of getting a good mentor because they will guide you to do things right and avoid mistakes.

Yes ,but not at all times because some of the mentors there are also busy with their lives and in real life and its good if you found one that is willing to teach you .I am a trader now and when i was started its all good time ,i have the money , i don't have a problem and i am deteemined how to trade that day but Sadly i learn some basics with my own experince no guide at all.Im just asking some help with the other some good traders in chat box and thats the start .
