I tagged some users that defaulted a loan on my lending service (with references). It would be appreciated if any DT would confirm the tags (even neutral). This is to assure those accounts dont get sold/recovered and to confirm my lending policy to not sell collateral accounts to not feed account farming/market on the forum.

As said here, make a thread* publishing the list along with all the proof. That and/or PM some of the active DT members, for example Vod, shorena, Lutpin , mexxer-2 and EquaMobi.

This practice needs to stop since nothing good can come out of it. In most cases, a defaulted account gets sold to either a spammer or someone with a intent to scam.

Why did you take accounts as collateral in the first place ? Nevermind.Just a random comment passing by.

Oh dont worry, you gotta love the way i'm handling those collaterals: it's time to cleanup a bit this forum and force the lender to stop supporting account farming.

Well I can't see why you would want to tag accounts which now (if you have the necessary proof) rightfully belong to you. At any rate, would you prefer a neg tag or a neutral?

• They can come up whenever they want to theymos with a signed message and claim back their account aand continue to scam?
• They can be tied to their alts and continue to scam? (the more informations we have the easier we can find their alts)
• With DT tag they become useless so none will attempt to sell those accounts (hackers, original owners, DA LENDER(S)) aka let's help stopping account farming

It's good of you to share the list and stop them from spreading any further, but have you also stopped taking any new accounts as collateral for loans? I doubt this will change much, as someone else is always willing to accept these "dirty" trades and perpetuate this underground economy. BTCTalk needs to take a stand against it

Yes i have as you can read in my lending policy of May 2016 (reference (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1448684.msg14650403#msg14650403)) and i have invited other lenders to do the same. Some of them promised to do so and then regret so, my business got broken and they continued to grow. For now, my lending policy updates to "i am not selling collaterals account that defaulted loans" but believe it: i will do a mess with them and all their alts.
Of course my responsability is to not accept accounts that would ruin their reputation for a bunch of dollar cents. The most trusted are already taking loans without collatera: see yahoo, avirunes, ranochigo and others...

sorry, Gunthar but this alleged fight more like a Don Quixote fighting windmills...
if the policy do not want to sell account's can understand, and evaluate the positive.
That a desire marked  "self" in in red, in my opinion is illogical, (of course only with exceptions that you took accounts without proof that account belongs to original user). Theymos certainly does not return account to real owner if you have agreement with signed message that  original owner gave this account as collateral. If all accounts under your control, and you yourself positioned itself as honest, so community should not be afraid new attempt to scam.
Now even your service advertise  in signature of these accounts  it looks like shady...

Dont worry about the collaterals i lost, it is part of the risk of being a lender. I just dont approve the account farming that lately we have all seen. A lot of people say lenders shoudnt take accounts as collateral at all but you know...how hard it would become. So i'm following a different path. And no i dont feel like Don Chisciotte...if you look around there are a lot of people that dont like the account farming supported by lenders...

my post essence, that everything was fine until you  advertised own service with accounts not marked in red.
Now people even are afraid to click link with your advertise, ,that did not get any virus or whatever,
summing it works as  anti advertising.

I've put some thought into this, and it seems that there is a possibility of a on-going scheme here. If account trades/sales are frowned upon and warrant negative ratings, then one can dodge that by taking up a loan and using their own account as collateral. Defaulting the loan becomes the equivalent of selling your account (to a farmer). Another reason for which lenders should stop taking accounts as collateral.

Logged on Today and saw negative trust and clicked on the link and here I am. Have contacted Gunthar to make arrangements and let him know what happened,in the mean time I dropped by signature and contacted the mod in charge to let them also know what the issue was.

No he did proof he wasnt hacked account by PM with some old stuff from BitcoinExchange (that's the real name of that account)

Or maybe a good reason not to be red tagging legit sold accounts and legit account sellers..

We are not talkign about sold accounts here: those in the list are all scammers that defaulted a loan. FYI: sold accounts are not being tagged with red, but with neutral. The only one i have seen tagging red is Shield.

Uh, the reference you included shows a post where he is claiming that he repaid the loan and you are confirming that it is repaid. Wrong post?

You blaming Vod for a service he is doing to the community tagging someone that defaulted a loan? Why you dont think about how to repay your loan instead? That would surely incentivate Vod to remove his tag....

Having been involved in this tactic to receive payment I will make a suggestion or two.

Contact the party before requesting them to be flagged,sure this will increase the percentages of successful payments.
The other is not suggest that you are able to get the red trust removed from random members you request to flag said accounts.

This strong arm or ploy cost the signature for this account which would have been able to pay the loan off.
So two red flagged accounts,one in your hands that could cover loan and the other of no use to me now.

I suggest a different tact as this superior stance you are taking over other lenders is really a bad look and divides what should be united group of lenders.
You can not pretend to be better when you are involved in one of the most predatory businesses with a long history of exploitation through out history.

If you could prove that you can remove red flagged trust I would be tempted to pay you but as the situation stands I do not believe you are capable of such a move.
End of the day its how you want to operate,just some feedback and how the other side sees this.

Your patience will be paid, I am not a scammer as you say, big countries such as the Greek it finds currently in crisis because of the debts and I am not ashamed to say that at the moment I am in financial crisis and if My intention was not good I would not answer in this thread, it is not because of this shit that man created and become his slave that I would become a shit.

The red trust is just there to make sure you don't try for another loan.  Repay your debt and I will be happy to remove it.  :)

Correct and thank you: it is the main reason why i contacted DT members to tag these accounts. Also: if i dont tag accounts that defaulted a loan, especially the ones that are held as collateral, someone could try to recover them from Theymos/Cyrus with a signed message from their staked address, in the future.
@HEPHAISTOS @Milkduds: some DT members might see it as a shady behaviour a user that comes out "only" when a scam accusation is open...

Hope if economic crisis is eating someone's money, it will be sorted out quickly and fairly for everyone, doesnt matter if from Greek or elsewhere. Just a suggestion for both @HEPHAISTOS and @Milkduds: stop gambling...

Rinder started a new BS thread tonight in meta. I checked his history. He is farmed. (but not yet published on my lists)
So i checked the surrounding accounts, these are obviously all part of that days farm. (there may be more to come, i only had a quick look)

I noticed many loan's among these accounts.
Dormund has defaulted to you.

But there are /defaults/loans/applications to -
yogg's micro loans (eco-ice),
Knight and day loans (edit keketex144 techalt and celtic),
Darkstar loans (jayhalk1)

Most interesting though was Toolbox, another lender, is also on that list.
Any interest on the matter here?

Interesting head up! Sure we can analyze those accounts here, this is a scam accusation thread so we should be fine and if we find those connections, it woudl be useful to tag their alts and not let them go around scamming others (main reasons why i publish here accounts that default on my lending service).

Cant believe a member with Donator status gave you his account as collateral that too for only 0.8BTC .I think this practice should stop.The whole lending thing

I dunno when they became donators. Consider some years ago 10BTC didnt worth like today. And yes, many lenders and myself did stop to accept accounts as collaterals. I think that woudl be enough.

There are more accounts connected, i will list them as soon as i can.
I got sidetracked when checking these earlier. I found 50 more alphabet farmed accounts in the same search!

This red color next to my profile makes me want to flee this forum but my conscience keeps me from going without paying my debts,
I'm really sorry, I just want you to know that I'm still looking for a way to repay my loans  ;)

Here I am back with less financial hardship and new ambitions, started by paying my loan after a long delays that completely changed the look of my account, things that did not stop me from repaying my loan by conviction.
I would like to thank Gunthar for having trusted me and being patient with regard to my loan, and all those who have left feedback in my trust, and will thank you more if you review your feedback.

I will change -rep to neutral. Please notice DT members may/may not remove/change their rep at their own discretion due to the fact that the loan was repaid after a long time and only after an open scam accusation.
