You can still reverse transactions when using friends and family payments. So that in itself isn't protection, despite what you want to erroneously try to get people to believe.

There is nothing which indicates that you have brick and mortar office in that building.
I checked your TrustPilot reviews and Facebook reviews. They seem overly optimistic IMO.

I have to say that this guys are legit. already  did with them 4 small transaction around 0.2 bitcoin and always got payed.  But still it is paypal so once you get monay withdraw them imeediately avoid chargeback, but i didnt get any till now.  My first sold btc was on 2017-02-27 .

A vouch form a newbie and newly created account is worth nothing. It's quite easy to make one of thse and just comment on this kinds of topics just to boost their sales. It's looks so fake that it is just the owners trying t trick people into believing your site. Oh by the way, you offer quite high as an exchange rate, that is as shady as it can get really.

Paypal transactions can be charged back within 365  days after, so you have plenty of time to accumulate transactions then do a charge back.

1) Are you always going to be offering more than normal exchanges for selling BTC? Or is that just a promo type deal?
2) Do you send via a fee-less PayPal method (Friends & Family or whatever, such that if you send $1.3k, we actually get 1.3k)?

I agree with this, how sure are your customers that they will not be receiving a charge back on the 365 days after your transaction with them? What I don't like is that there are plenty of newbie accounts commenting and vouching for this service, which is not looking good as I don't think a newbie's first few post is about reviewing a site.

We just watch and hope they will last long. I have one standing order with them now after few successful trades.

I agree that it'd be nice to have more reputable people vouching for them, but everyone has to start somewhere, really. I haven't seen any foul play with them yet, but as an outsider, it's hard to tell how many sales they've had. I'm curious as to the total turnover they've gone through...

I personally exchanged over 800$ worth of Bitcoins for PP in 4-5 different transactions, and i can say that i always got clean PayPal without any issue. I also withdrawn all PP money into my bank account successfully. They are really doing great job  :)

I got payment through their exchange website faster than using their service at bitify.com.

I did have few successful trade with them. Their exchange service is getting slower and slower.

I think hiribi.com is  quite legit. I did first sell with them on 2017-02-27 .  Since that time i sold them many btc together 7.36 BTC.   No chargeback . Still some can come as there is 180 days for CB to be done.  But i really doubt as they are really responsive and they are evolving in time  . They keep all transaction tracking under your dashboard. Ordinary scam pages looks different .

I would say that they are 100% legit once my first transaction will be older than 180 Days.

Its true that their Service start using many people now and they are quite slow with payment. But they promise that they will improve payout times really soon.

Paypal is risky money procesor , but you can manage the risk even as  seller if you know how  8)

I know many people here have the way to cast out PP whether it can charged back later or not. So grap your chance and hope for the best.

It is quite funny to me that normal exchangers charge you fee is normal, quite legit... anything thing that seems to good to be true is getting suspicious, even though it is in many cases.

Many people say that btc, eth... are scam... how come you can earn real money via digital currency... well If I can earn money then it is fine with me...

Mini Review

I don't think it is a scam but I don't think it's an automated system. I prefer automated trades because of how quick they are. I sent 0.03 BTC I got 3 confirmations within an hour and my transaction was moved to processing but I haven't still got any money in my PayPal account over 8 hours later. I think it may be because I started the trade around 11:30pm Sunday evening. Ordinarily this shouldn't matter if it's an automated system but I wonder if it isn't and someone has to be online to process orders.

EDIT: Just got my payment. Worked well all in all.

EDIT 2: Turns out they send payment through the 'Pay a Seller' PayPal method rather than the 'Send money to friends and family method. The downsides are these:
1. There is a percentage transfer fee. I was supposed to receive $45.59 they sent $47.71 but I received $44.83 because of the transfer fee.
2. It is reversible. PayPal state they don't offer payment protection for 'Pay friends and family' on the other hand. So that should be much harder or impossible to reverse.

I have two questions please.

1. Can you send PayPal payments in GBP?
My account is GBP and seeing as you're a U.K. company I feel it might be cheaper for both of us to avoid double conversion.

2. Can you send via 'Pay a friend or family'?

I believe the reason why it's manual is because they aren't keeping a huge stock, so they take your order/coins, then sell them and give the money. At least that's how I took it based on previous posts.

Seems a likely explanation, I expect this  sort of business would work better the larger they get.

Someone (not HiRiBi) recently just reversed three PayPal transactions after I sent them Bitcoin. Claiming that 'I took' the money from their account and they did not make the order. I am still speaking with PayPal as this just happened yesterday.

However I advise everyone to avoid trading via PayPal if the person you are trading doesn't use the 'Pay a friend and family' method. I don't know why HiRiBi would refuse to pay via a hard to reverse method if we are sending them Bitcoin via an irreversible method.

Also dissapointingly they said they cover all fees, seemingly ignoring the very point I raised above telling them I got less than the quoted amount because of PayPal fees.

They covered most of the fees, but I still lost like 1% of total amount transferred.

There are many ways to reverse F&F transactions as well. Not sure why so many people mistakenly take it as being "safe." It's no safer than sending payment for goods.

Try to cash out PP via 3rd party as soon as you can, then forget about chargeback.

We chose this currency in view of the preferences of most customers. Maybe in the future we will have the opportunity to add other currencies, we are working on this.

That doesn't solve the issue. They will attempt to recoup the money and file a lawsuit against you if they can't get it. That affects your credit rating and creates a lot of complications.

Can you tell me how one would reverse a Friends and Family transaction? PayPal explicitly states that it's not covered by Buyer Protection (the reason it's free I guess) and I remember seeing a few posts on the PayPal community page about people who said they were scammed on eBay after the seller requested they send via F&F and they did so, then the seller dissapeared. All the replies were along the lines of "your money is gone".

Please though if you do know how Friends and Family transactions can be reversed, please share. Thanks.

1) Why does HiRiBi need to ensure everyone uses one currency, if they don't want to? Does something prevent HiRiBi from sending different currencies to different customers on a case by case basis? I use PayPal myself, it requires in the region of <5 clicks and 1 minute to effect such changes on each transfer. For example Amazon a US company, well aware that USD is the most popular currency in the world, still gives currency options for local customers. Being flexible is a good thing in my opinion.

2) What difficulties? How is it hard to process F&F payments? I have used it myself, I didn't see any. Please tell me about them.

I have used PayPal for 6+ years now, as a buyer and seller on eBay and sometimes to transfer money even internationally, and I fail to see strong reason in your points.

Please enlighten me on what I may have missed. Thank you.


That's understandable.
There are two possible fees that I am aware of. One is a Pay for Goods and Services fee, the solution for that is to use F&F. Another is a cross border transfer fee that is country dependent. One possible solution; I believe PayPal provides a chart of the fees. You could create a box for users to enter the country of their account and from there calculate the fees.

But now we don’t yet consider the possibility of payment in a different currency except USD due to internal features of the service.

You are absolutely right, but if we are talking about hundreds transactions per month?
PP strictly controls fraud with FF payments. As I told earlier, at the start of our service we tried this type of payment, bit it was hard to proceed so we change to regular payments.

Did a transaction for 4 ETH 15 hours ago, but still haven't received payment. Phone number listed on the website seems like its no longer functioning - no response to emails either. I'm not sure if others have any other experience with this, but it is highly possible after 6 months that Hiribi can file a chargeback. Turns out that crypto is irreversible, but USD in PP is completely reversible, hence no seller protection. So you wouldn't be able to reverse your ETH or BTC transactions. Not saying this is what it would be, but it is highly likely.

I did get most of my money back. Just two payments are on hold at Paypal. Hopefully they get resolved soon - its been two weeks. I think Alex (from Hiribi) was very very helpful, they helped me get the new rate, because ETH had climbed 10% in the time window of the payment. I do appreciate that part. Only wish the payment schedule was better organized.

The issue is they are essentially doing manual exchange middle-manning. So they have no idea when someone is going to make an order to sell/buy and it's hard to collaborate that. We see the same thing with online gold sellers (like in games).

But there is something i would like to ask you on bitcointalk, So other's can read it to and make a dissision to do bussenis with HIRIBI.

I would like to know why every time a transaction is made to my paypal account it comes from a different paypal address, this rise red flag to. Also there is a risk thet the buyer can claim his money back in between 180 days. So this alerts some red flags agien.

He sad that i need to be very carefull because the payments are coming from different accounts and on the transaction it state ''growhacks facebook'' and my other transaction it state ''Webpage prebuild seooptimization'' and ''photoshop help'', why it does not say i sold bitcoins on the transactions ?? First of all we will answer on this question: It’s done for safety reason, PayPal do not allow any trades linked with Bitcoins, you should read PP rules before call them, so now your account can be in risk. So that’s why we put a lot of different payment details so PP can’t do nothing to you, so basically you got your money not for selling BTC. By this we are protecting all our customers and us.

Is anybody else having issues with their service lately ??? They are failing to process my payments since yesterday, and they have not responded to my email yet.

Also, the last 2 transactions I made have never been confirmed on their website checkout page as they did in the past, so it seems like some technical issue with their ordering system.  :-\

The service has been really solid so far, but the system lost track of my transaction a couple of days ago and I'm still waiting for a resolution in the form of some transfers or a refund.

I'm so sorry i said it's a recommended service.

I used the Paypal account for my business. After i exchanged my btc for about 600$, that was about week ago, Paypal put it in pending and i had to send them emails and then calling them and going into a lot of verification shit and still my verification papers is still pending.


The only payment method they provide is the Gaypal, they know paypal is against btc and still forcing us to use it !! and me being stupid gone with them.

If they only had to use one payment method it has to be with no doubt "Perfectmoney", and this is why i suggest Perfectmoney

-No documents required (unless you want to lower the fees from 2% to .5% while receiving).
-NOOOO LIMITS AT ALL.
-BTC is not a problem, in fact, you can even create a BTC wallet for your account.
-Best thing is that it doesn't allow a transaction to be reversed (NO REFUNDS) and this will add a huge credibility to them.

and they also won't get their stealth accounts banned by paypal again.




I don't really advice anyone of using their service until they use Perfectmoney and prove they are credible and trustworthy.
If you aren't afraid on your Paypal account then go with it.

I've  been using Hiribi and now, my business paypal account is now permanently limited for breaking Paypal TOS. In 180 days (If I'm lucky) I'll be able to withdraw the balance.

Hiribi does pay what they say they will pay,but the source of the and purpose of the funds definitley breaks paypal TOS.

I now find myself having to issue refunds to "buyers" for chargebacks for various issues ranging from "Item not received" to "Unauthorized Transaction". I can imagine my paypal balance dwindling in the coming days.

Oh, I've also been banned from ever having another paypal account ever again.

So if all of this sounds good to potential customers, please, by all means use Hiribi for "Best rate on the market"

I have done several successful transactions, however for my most recent one I did not receive a confirmation email and have not received the PayPal payments either. Almost $500.

I emailed customer service almost 3 days ago and have not received a response.

Received a reply from CS saying it was complete and I double checked. Turns out it was my mistake. I guess my previous transaction was very slow, this one was very fast, and I combined them together in my last withdrawal without noticing because I did not receive an email confirmation like I usually do.

I've done about 10x .1 BTC transactions with no problems. I don't think there is much chance of them reversing the deposits because they do many little deposits totaling the sum, and I think it would be extremely suspicious to PayPal if they were to reverse all of them for just one of the .1 BTC tx.

I did contact CS once before because there were a couple of payments in the $30-40 range that were disputed and they replied promptly then, so I don't know if that prompt response time was a fluke or this slow one was. I do hope CS if faster in the future though.

I followed their instructions to refund the payments, and then the payments were re-submitted to me with no further issues.

Final verdict: Recieved payment in just under 24 hours, PayPal payment came in stealthy as to not let them believe it was a crypto payment.. Because it was a non us verified PayPal account that sent the money PayPal placed a 24 hour hold on payment.. They released it exactly 24 hours later..  its a good trustworthy service.. Even tho btc went down I still got promised amount.. All in all took 48 hours after i sent btc to get payment 24 hours hiribi and 24 hours PayPal.. I just tried them and all went well.. I don't c how they can limit your account.. The item they said they bought from me was nothing that would get u limited.

I'd done several exchanges with Hiribi over the last several months, and rarely ever had any issue aside from PayPal randomly holding some payments for 24 hours. However, my last Hiribi transaction has been terrible! I feared there was gonna be trouble when I got so many tiny transactions, as that itself might look suspicious. (Months ago, the PayPal transactions were usually much bigger, like $50-$100, not mostly $5-$20 like was the case this time.)

Even worse, though, I had 2 unauthorized transaction cases opened against me! PayPal did automatically close 1 in my favor, citing no evidence found of an unauthorized transaction, but the other is still open. And now, PayPal has limited my account! They want an invoice or supplier info--what am I supposed to give them???

I've emailed Hiribi a few times as my situation has developed, and as of when I'm writing this, I've gotten NO RESPONSE from them. They've usually been good about replying within 24 hours, but not this time!

Has anybody else had bad experiences like this?

I've said that before ,besides, other members and i've also warned from dealing with them until they support Perfectmoney, But Mankind problem is, they don't learn from the previous experiences.

There is no chargebacks problem with hiribi, but with pp closing accounts for TOS violation. My account has just died, may it rest in peace. Emailed hiribi and waiting for resolution on outstanding funds from transaction.

I've finally heard back from Hiribi support, and so far, they seem willing to help me out. I'm waiting for more information from them regarding the transaction that was flagged as unauthorized, before I then try to solve the limitation issue.

Months ago, exchanges above $1000 went through fine for me. Not this time, though. To anyone considering this service, I would exercise extreme caution, and don't try to exchange huge amounts, especially if you're not already transacting regularly big volume in your PayPal.

A friend of mine had his PP account limited today. The last Hiribi transaction he did was in November.

I had ordered on January 23 for 350$ worth of btc and hadn't heard anything from them after i ordered. but in the past couples of times i ordered they always remained silent on there end...but They always payout in the end and this time was no different, I awoke today to find 457$ in my paypal. My recommendation for those getting there account limited is probably due to them not having similar payments going through there account. Also as you can use there Bitify Page to buy from them with escrow but you want get as much in return but hey its your money  ;)

Oh i also noticed a couple of days ago on there website they have notifications and at the bottom of the notification in little green writing was "Paypal Stock Limited" so that might explain why it took so

When you make random medium payments like 150$+ paypal puts the payment on "Hold" for 21 days, leaving the customer with the Hold, and the only tip from paypal is "To get your money released in 7-14 days, ship your order quickly and mark it as processed by clicking Details below" which is impossible since there is know item to ship  :-\ unless there some other work around?.

are we allowed to make another buy/sell transaction during "hold" period?

On Feb 9 Paypal review and cancelled this transaction coz PP found the payment may be the result of suspicious activity. PP sent refund to Hiribi (santiago cook). I've lost 37.94 + PP fee. me and 2 friends each did several btc sells to hiribi with no problems. in total over 7000$.

New problem i got a hold on part of my recent payment....but its not a 21 day hold or 24 hour hold its for a item dispute " Item not as described "  :-\ its only for $14.41 but still wtf this is a new one.
ps: the customer wants a partial refund of $15.39 and wants to keep the item...okay wtf ???

For the record, I've done several $1000 transactions with them and they have always fulfilled. Recently my PayPal was limited and am trying to get more information to resolve it one way or another. Hiribi has usually had speedy replies whenever I've encountered minor issues, but this is somewhat major to me...hopefully their ability to respond continues...

Looks like scam. I did first exchange several weeks ago and it worked great. Now I have 2 exchanges "in process". 1 for 6 days, second for 3 hours. No reply from support at all. Beware.

Yeah I actually have one open against me right now for $0.57 and usually the claimant ask for a refund and then you refund them, then Hiribi pays you back in couple days after notifying them via there support email  ;)

PS: I even called Paypal on this 0.57$ claim and the even said they would cover refund and close the "investigation " in claimants favor in few days,they told me that looking into matters under 35$ is waste of resources on there side and its better to make the case opener feel like they really are getting the best results, so These have no real consequence in the grand scheme of things i have like 5 happen out 2000+ paypal transaction with them so its also fairly uncommon. anyway hope I was of help  ;D

I would wait unless you have more than 500$+ in your account paypal tends to treat cases more seriously if the amount in the case in rather large in regards to the amount in the account upon the time of the case being open ;)

Update 2: After speaking with Hiribi support they fixed everything and sent the money fast as always, I think the website glitched when they added the Gold Club Ads to the website ;)

Now, my account limited as well with the same reason as stated above. How did Paypal know payments received are in violations of their terms of services?... since there is no such thing as

Maybe a number of my previous Paypal unauthorized transactions and disputes actually lead to this limitations...as advised by hiribi support, i just refunded all disputes..a few of the paypal disputes actually described their problems like they can't download music album after subscribing to the premium membership, their premium account hit limit when they just started to download the music track...the users that filed disputes and leave those messages are actually screwing us.

I believe Hiribi business model is something like they want to offer paypal as the most convenient way to pay for their service, we Hiribi users are the receiving end of the paypal payments,
so we assume all risks and profit at the same time, while Hiribi receive payment from us in the form of Bitcoin.

This service is awesome! I have got many payments in few hours and havent got any issues yet. Thumbs Up!

Paypal reserves 180 days for refunds to be successfully processed. With that in mind, these folks will almost surely pull the plug right before that. If a sender claims the account was compromised, there is a 99.9% chance that a buyer will get the funds back within 20 days period.

When something seems too damn good to be true, it usually is :)

I have been working with Hiribi for quite long time. Few pp accounts had been limited permanently. After 180days, I can still withdraw money out from those accounts.

The keys to work with Hiribi is to buy good accounts and sell usd on it when u receive it.

The accounts close them because they ask for money claims opening disputes. And not only that, in the comments they mention web pages such as www.keep2share.com and allusions to premium download account services, something that is prohibited by PayPal and as you can see everyone in the world Alex does not give explanations. I could use other methods of payment and it does not, for something it will be. They will continue to fall accounts.

and the login times I would advise against this service.
This company is using stealth accounts and now the accounts are waking up and clients asking for refunds, hiribi ask that you honor the refund then they resend funds via another account but keeps you in a never ending cycle until you get limited.

Basically even with 5-20% extra they offer it isnt worth it in the end.
At one point I condoned this service but when I started learning how it worked and could validate it was grey area. I stopped using the service.

PayPal can limit you anytime. You just can do your best to avoid this.

Registration:

If you did not have PayPal accounts before:

- Not every country can accept receiving payments. Check this possibility before creating an account.

- While registration you have to use the real name, contact information details and other data. In a case if PayPal require the additional info about you and your activities, you have to provide all documents.

- Do not create multiple accounts with the same information. By User Agreement of PayPal, you can have only one account (Personal and/or Business) that associated with you and any kind of information about you (eg: phone number).

- Check closely all filled information while registration because lately PayPal will give you changing some info but it will mark your account as suspicious.

- You can create any type of PayPal account but as we send funds like “goods and services”, it is better to create the business account.

- The information that you provide has to match with the country of registration. For example: do not use UK phone number/address/credit card/passport/etc. if you create French account.

- Avoid using proxies, Tor browser, IPs from another country or public Wi-Fi areas to sign into the account. If you must use a VPN using a dedicated VPN source. In the future, try to use the same IP that you have while creating the account.

- Enter the full info: do not skip the question or interrupt registration in the middle of the process.

- If you create the business account, choose the occupation that you know. By PayPal terms, they can ask for details about your business anytime. You have to provide the details of your activity and it will be good if you can prove it.


If you had the PP account before or want to create multiple accounts:

- All tips that were provided before are actual for multiple accounts.

- Do not use the same IP and MAC address for each account.

hypothetically if they send from stolen paypal it would all make sense. user sends bitcoin, they have their money. then they use many stolen paypal to send in small increments which are unlikely to be charged back. if there is a chargeback or problems, the user is fu**ed, hiribi gives a sh*t. if user is happy, he comes back. hypothetically spoken!


another scenario could be, that hiribi is something like XCOINS.IO, where it bring paypal-buyers and bitcoin-sellers together. but on the hiribi site is no way to BUY via paypal, also hiribi also sends you an apology-email when there is a paypal-chargeback. and this email comes from hiribi faster than the one from paypal itself. this means hiribi themself control the sending paypal-accounts, not the particular sending paypal user.


i cannot imagine any way they sustain to pay such high rates
