Title: Telegram groups for Bitcoin

Would love to speak to some of yall when it comes to speaking about current bitcoin news and all things bitcoin so I'd like to know if anyone knows about a group on Telegram that is used for Bitcoin?

I've seen many groups which are used for altcoin trader, whale trading, and so on but am yet to find a group on just bitcoin but I would guess it's out their.

I have seen alot of ico do this when they have meetings. And acts as a staging ground in a way. :D
It would be a good way to meet new people then to get them to add you on telegram instead.

Telegram is not much used around compared to whatsapp. Maybe its good for better discussion as mentioned by opening. As its possible to have limited number of users, group for trading needs to be segregated for each locality.

Don't believe slack would be so good to do ongoing conversations since it seems more like a conference call for bringing people together for one time thing sort of app.

We have only used telegram once and do not fully know its features. We have only recently, about six months back, started using Slack for more than the occasional item. Recently we found a service that uses telegram to send alerts about changes in the Bitcoin price index. What is the benefit of telegram? Those alerts do not pop in the browser if the telegram site is closed. Is the main thing integration with an app on a smartphone? The alerts that telegram uses can be sent to an email, but why wouldn't the site/project using telegram just sent email alerts.

Basically, without deeply reading the telegram site, what makes it different than the 20 other apps we use daily. And, just to contribute to the thread here, this is the app that we sign up on telegram to use, it is not altering to Bitcoin price changes exactly, but claims that it uses algorithms to spot and forward "trading signals".

We claim no way that the service works or does not, but it can be listed here for others to evaluate, it is called Cryptoping, I am sure that it is not new to many here, I think we found it here and have not paid much attention since first touching it.

well telegram is a means altcoin to reach it's users, but you can find such telegram group specifically on bitcoin, though i have come across telegram groups for organisations accepting bitcoin as a payment method, that's all you can find.

Honestly it is really difficult to answer to your question as there is so much group on telegram that spoke about crypto ! Lots of people wil shill their own coin/group without necessarily interest. Best is to make your own research of which one could be interesting for you.

Funny considering those sites have official telegram groups for you to get the same news, without having to open a browser.
Within Telegram itself all you have to do is use search for finding groups or news you want delivered. So, kinda like RSS next generation.
Indeed Telegram has two types of groups: Read only for things like news, and discussion groups. There are also bots, LOTS of bots, many are free open source... Like the rest of internet, Telegram has lots of good and bad, you have to discern what is worth your time and what is not. I like how many exchanges and asic miner companies have official groups in there, but there are also scammers trying to impersonate official support. Of course ICOs and altcoins have heavy presence as well.

And phishers pretending to be official support from big main channels (ie. Binance, Bitmain). They are lurking waiting for people in trouble and then PM them trying to "Help" when you post a genuine issue in the main channel. Its usually safe to simply ignore all PMs, like on IRC, discuss your troubles in the public channel, and never give away logins/passwords.

It seems that I haven't found the existence special bitcoin telegram group, if altcoin there may be many, but that's ico group just brings together dev investors and bounty hunters, even though there are only local groups like in my country but it's also the crypto community, so in the group the broad discussion is not only about bitcoin

Telegram groups are now a lot of scams and a lot of links go wrong and I think now the danger of telegram being a scam link is that I hope be careful

Just be careful when joining those groups. You might be scammers lurks around on those telegram groups. And also be careful when following their advice. They might try to rip you off. Those pump and dump groups are not for everyone. Those who are not smart enough to know when to exit suffers the loss. And only those leaders of the group make the profit, while others suffer huge loss.

Lots of groups discuss bitcoin, but rarely do people only discuss bitcoin every day, on average they only use groups to see news about crypto developments including altcoins,

There's many Telegram groups for bitcoin are bots ( faucets mining ...) we can't trust there because you spend your time for nothing it is almost impossible to make money with a Telegram bot.

Just be clear that any trade or deal you doing on social media you run a huge risk of getting defrauded.
I don't know what the use of exchanges if they are not there for trading and purchasing so why are you interested in any telegram group.

There are a lot of telegram groups, chats, where the info about cryptocurrency is spinning, which is just not what you’re reading, but now I’ve stopped on one channel, it’s not mega popular, there are only 1000 readers, but there’s always fresh information and a conscientious admin. I will not leave the link, because I do not want to break the rules of advertising!

I am a member of many chat rooms and Bitcoin channels. But most of all I prefer to take news from the telegrams channel BitLenta, BitNovosti. But to be honest, they all duplicate each other, copying information. The main thing that records were actual.

To be honest, I now watch the news about Bitcoin only from the Crypto Veritas group, for the simple reason that there is always fresh news, and sometimes even offers to participate in airdrop or bounty, and even the admin is a good person, somehow you had to talk.

I love the telegram group where there are signals about trade, airdrop, and just newsreaders. I can’t even advise just one thing, as there are many of them, a very large amount. I always choose the highest in rank, which I track in a search engine.

I am also looking for information about a special bitcoin telegram, and I haven't found it for 2 months. At least I can discuss quickly and understand the latest news about bitcoin. Because on social media there are already too many users. I hope there is news saying that bitcoin will go back up to the moon, at least above the price of $ 10k. Thanks.

I don't know if there is any telegram group for bitcoin discussion. But yes, there is few channel or group they provide few signals about bitcoin and other alt coins. But I am not sure how potential they are. Actually this forum is best for bitcoin discussion, lot of knowledge sharing by users. We might learn from here as well.

Actually, what is the purpose of joining the bitcoin telegram group? What's in particular? For now, I prefer to join the telegram group of crypto traders who have successfully gained profits. Because you can share your trading experience and have a strategy. I think it's more interesting.

Some telegram groups offer free crypto signals but at the end of month the administration kicks everyone who doesn't agree about payment. Bitcoin groups are really mess, it doesn't worth to spend time there. VIP crypto groups are also leaked by free groups and they ask about paid groups after determined team.

I understand what you mean, such groups are needed to keep the altcoin community lively and updated and to curtail FUD and many others. But you see, bitcoin has evolved and not in that class. An average trader can tell people about bitcoin when people are stucked, more so, bitcoin is everywhere on the social media.

not just talking about bitcoin. But talking about altcoins too, because if you only focus on bitcoin, income to be obtained is also not
optimal. My advice is not good if you are fanatical about bitcoin, you have to be open-minded with altcoins too.

There are many telegram groups/bots that gives satoshi for task that you do. For example is BTC click bot wherein you can get satoshis for every links that you visit or joining groups. And those groupa are also related to btc which we can also get learnings for bitcoij or even get bitcoins

It sure is hard to see a Telegram group that is specifically dedicated to Bitcoin because nobody is running a campaign for them. All we can normally see are Alternate Cryptocurrencies groups and I think that is still a good way to spread news about your platform. There still might be some Telegram groups dedicated to Bitcoin and all we have to do is look for them. We can exchange ideas with them regarding our speculations and other things we can do to Bitcoin.

What about here? Mostly bitcoin topics/news/events are already here. What's the difference? I don't have yet bitcoin telegram groups. What could be the benefits of joining Bitcoin Telegram? Base on my observation in my Altcoin groups, it's just a group of a troll conversation. Not all but mostly.

I agree with you HV_, telegram is toxic place. I am there because some official groups of some projects, but after talk in
any of those group I receive at least 10 messages from people who offer their services, investment opportunities, for earning.
It's a really spammy place, I try to keep a low profile there and to ask just I need to know and I don't answer on any PM's.

I enroll up for many telegram groups, mostly wasting time and seeing messages for advertising purposes made me tired. I enrolled to at least 20 kinds of telegram groups and then deleted those group channels.
Telegram is now deforming, there used to be quality channels and users, now there are no quality channels.

yep, it's faster to get development information about Bitcoin in this forum or on social media such as Twitter and Reddit...
I join many telegram groups that discuss a lot of coins, not only Bitcoin. but what I don't like the most from the group on telegram is that most of the groups discuss things that are not related to the coin and many also just spread referral links.

To this day i have never found a telegram group that is specifically about bitcoin, and i am not surprised about it, because bitcoin is already famous and i'm sure many people understand about bitcoin in general
But I am also sure that because when discussing altcoin or trading, usually indirectly we will all discuss bitcoin, which includes price, chart conditions or bitcoin market conditions, so in my opinion there is no need to create a special telegram group that talks about bitcoin.

I would like a group with information about Bitcoin. Often I look for prices, charts, opinions in various sources so I find it tedious. I have seen that Coinmarketcap has a live chat for some coins but not for Bitcoin and other coins. Perhaps it is the same community that demands ant creates the chats. Well there is a demand raised by us Who dares to create this super chat for Bitcoin?
