Who are you?  What is your legal name and country of origin?  Can you prove who you are?  Why should I buy from you?  Do you have references?  You joined only two days ago, why should you be trusted?

You say your name is Dave, but you have a hidden whois on your domain.  Why?  Why would you try to hide anything, including your business name and contacts?  I can only think of one reason.

Hey, thanks for the questions, I'll do my best to answer them. I'm Dave, my country of origin is the US. Of course I can prove who I am, you can't do anything without ID these days. I can provide plenty of references from happy customers who have encouraged me to branch out and take some public orders. (I primarily did custom private builds for friends, and their friends). I'm a long time lurker, and now I've joined (YAY!) Why should I be trusted? That's a tough one, I guess no one can be trusted until someone finally does trust them, so if you ask me the whole system is kind of flawed.

Having a hidden WHOIS on a domain is standard protocol for anyone who doesn't want 40 or 50 emails and phone calls per day from indian people claiming that they can "rank my website good in google searches", so there you go, a second reason. If you have any more concerns, please let me know, via PM, here, or by just giving me a call! 804-657-7595 ask for Dave! Thanks again.

Okay dave you still never gave your last name.  What was that again?

And to counter your statement above.  I own thousands of domains.  I don't get 50 phone calls a day from "Indian" people, the emails auto go to spam.  None of my contacts are hidden including my personal phone number.  So again why does a legit business have hidden whois?

I don't see how my last name pertains to any of this. The products speak for themselves, I'd be happy to tell any of my CUSTOMERS my last name. And, you must have the luck of the irish to not get those calls or emails. Thank you for your concern, and your concern for others.

Yeah, no... That's quite bs.  Anyone not willing to give their info is a scammer until proven otherwise.  Sorry but that is the way of the internet.

Definitely will have some up soon, I just want to use a lightbox so we can have some decent pictures. It's covered in the FAQ why we don't have them currently.

Yes, purpose built, pre-tweaked for maximum hashing. They arrive ready to mine out of the box, just add your worker and go!

$2,399 for 3000 kh/s on 7970s  1.2505kH/s/$

3000 kh/s is pretty high estimate.  What is the average kh/s these unites generate.  You can't tout optimal for layman miners.  When they see that the rate is subject to other factors like pool or stratum support, room temperature, etc  they will be pissed.  You should back off your number by 10%

Example, I get 2500kHs on average.  If I just use the mining hardware comparison numbers (which are probably overclocks or best numbers) I could say I get 2600kHs.  And my hardware totals $1700 with S&H.  I get 1.529kH/s/$  plus I can expend by 2 more 7950s.  So that would net me 3800kH/s for $2300 or 1.6522kH/s/$.

I think charging + $400 per machine is a rip off.  You can build 1-2 machines an hour.  If you charged $2199 for them then I could see the value.

The difference is, we don't use cheap parts. Our GPUs are running us $429 EACH, so theres $1700 right there, our power supplies are $250, add in the rest of the components, and shipping, and guess what? I'm building for around $100 profit.

I am however interested in your part list, if you can get that much hashing power for that small price! PM me.

No need to jump all over the guy - I've seen shadier people with worst sites.
A couple of pictures of what we are buying would not be amiss, but I enjoy the idea of buying pre-built and tested machines - and you accept paypal so +1 vote of confidence from me.
Good luck

I wouldn't be willing to give out my info to random people just because I was selling something either. The internet is a scary place. Identity thieves, nut jobs, ax murderers...

If I was him, for all I knew you could be some guy who'd find me, stab me to death, and rob me of all the mining parts I bought.

This was my exact reasoning for being reluctant :)

Handling all of that as we speak. Thanks for pointing that out. OS is Windows 7 by the way, as it's easier for most novices to grasp.

You claim 100% transparency but there is not even 1% transparency right now. What you have is just a template website on which you added minimum info and
mouth full of classic business bullshits and salepitches. What are you asking for are thousands of dollars, no less. Anyone feeling like actualy sending you money
better drop it to some local charity or homeless persons.

We've received numerous orders and we're working on them as best we can, that's why we haven't been around very much today. Good to see lots of people concerned for the well being of others, but I can assure you, we are not BFL or anyone else, we deliver.

1. Wait a sec here, these use $35 Sempron 145 CPUs and have 4 GB of RAM and can still hit 3,000 kH/s? Are these Litecoin only?

2. Also, the ASRock 970 EXTREME4 AM3+ AMD 970 motherboard, it has:

   3x PCI-Express 2.0 x16 Slots(one run at x8, Or two run at x8, one run at x4, Supports AMD Quad/ 3-Way/ CrossFireX/ nVidia SLI ), 2x PCI-Express 2.0 x1 Slots, 2x PCI Slots

How do you put four video cards into a motherboard with only three full video slots?

3. If there is no case, what do you use to hold it all together?

$1099 dollars for a basic desktop computer with 1 GPU...........

so the keyloggers come free?

let me guess due to demand delivery is 3 weeks.

where as alternatively anyone can buy the GPU fit it into current system and within 1 day of searching the forum for the best settings they have an equal/better miner without risk/delay for under $400 (price of GPU and maybe a PSU upgrade)

i do like the entrepreneurial spirit, but this product really does deserve a facepalm..

$1099 dollars for a basic desktop computer with 1 GPU........... Custom built fully expandable PC specifically for mining. - Fixed that for you.

so the keyloggers come free? Absurd notion, you only make yourself look foolish by accusing people of things like this.

let me guess due to demand delivery is 3 weeks. Nope we're right around 10 days.

where as alternatively anyone can buy the GPU fit it into current system and within 1 day of searching the forum for the best settings they have an equal/better miner without risk/delay for under $400 (price of GPU and maybe a PSU upgrade) All very true statements, but not everyone wants to do that. Also our baseline unit is able to upgrade all the way up to 4x GPU units where most home PC's are not.

i do like the entrepreneurial spirit, but this product really does deserve a facepalm.. Opinions are like..... nevermind.

As always, if anyone has any problems with any orders they've made please, feel free to make them public, I will address them just as I would in private.

post up a parts list from scratch for $400 to get 700 khhash....

a new 7970 is $400.
then the ram... $50
then the CPU... $40
then the MOBO.. $80-120
then the PSU..$70
then some kind of case... $50
maybe some extra fans...
etc
etc
etc

I know I spent $700 or so to get a 700khash machine up and running.. and the hours of driving to a store, buying parts, driving home, installing parts, installing OS, drivers... miners.. getting settings all right.. finding perfect clock speed/memory clocks..

its a LOT of work to get a new miner going, espescially for one that does not already know the exact combo of parts to get the job done properly.

Now there's a good idea! I have some units that will be delivered early next week, I'll have them post pics.

Also, I take the time to call and thank each person for their order, gives it a bit more of a personal touch, as I like building relationships way more than making tons of cash, which is my the rigs are only slightly over cost of parts.

I'm probably not gonna call people, but I like giving personal touches to businesses, it makes them more fun to run. I'm doing the same, I sell the units a bit above part cost, with a subsidy from my testing/burn-in period. As well, if you know some kind of language like Java or the C-family, you may want to look into making your own setup interface, that's what I'm doing so that it is as easy as possible for a person to sit down and start mining.

It's cool to see other people starting this industry up as well :) You may want to ask customers to post pics once they receive their units, that's what I am intending to do.

Cheers!

Yeah, our rigs are designed to be basically plug and play, just add your worker and GO!

3. If there is no case, what do you use to hold it all together?
Unicorns Blood right?

These units are just made from normal PC parts, they're not ASIC's or FPGA's so they're pretty easy to build and ship. I'll have customers post some pics of their rigs when they get them in a few days.

Just talked with this guy earlier today after placing my order. The personal call was a very nice touch. Talked shop and even discussed personal cryptocurrency opinions a bit. I learned that I placed the first BTC purchase order, which I'm super proud of. I've had a great experience with this company so far. Will post pictures once I get my machine.

Cheers,
Kleeck

50% markup is actually pretty average for standard retail pricing after manufacturing.

FFS people, leave the guy alone. He's providing a goddamn service and you're all jumping down his throat like he OWES you something.

He's running a business, and YOU ALL KNOW how hard it can be to get miners up and running. If we want Litecoin to be adopted, we need to foster independant shops like his because we sure as hell aren't going to do it ourselves.

Seriously, some times the trolls here really get to me.  >:(

You couldn't even buy the 2 GPU's in that model for $700. We use Sapphire 7970's @ $419 each.

The cost for that unit is $1217 (seen here http://prntscr.com/1280nv ), factor in my shipping and packaging costs, and my time, and then think about what's left.

I can't stress this point enough... WE DO NOT USE CHEAP PARTS. And all of our models are able to be expanded to 4 GPU's if you swap out the power supply.

My markup is slim, and I appreciate everyone's support who has given it, and I especially appreciate all the orders! I'll be adding some pics of the builds today.

Same thing happened (and is kinda still happening) on my post. People seem to be able to build 2x7950 or 2x7970 systems for less than the cost of the GPUs themselves, I don't quite understand how they get those numbers.

I've priced it out before, but here's my estimates for my line (likely similar to Crypto's)::
Motherboard: $80-90
RAM: $30
PSU: $110
CPU: $40-50
Graphics Card: $740 (I do 2x7950 builds)
OS: $100
Case: $90 (doesn't apply to Crypto)

Not sure how people do such cheap builds, but I would certainly love to see their parts list, I could really slash prices on my miners :)

I think they may be considering just the cost of the GPUs, perhaps they have some spare Wattage and PCI-E 16x sized slots. Not sure.

AMEN!

I use the 970 extreme 4 MOBO so thats $100
And my power supplies in the TNT models are 1250w Seagates, so they run around $230.
2 of my models actually do come in a case, but most people opt to have them open air anyway.

Yeah, I thought of going case-less as well, however I wasn't sure how shipping would work. I chose cases with good ventilation and a side panel that can be removed, so non-reference-design cards can ventilate from at least two directions very well. 1250W Seagates, talk about longevity.

Milk Crates with a mounting bar over top, keeps them nice and cool, and allows plenty of space.

Alright, I've spent all weekend building and tweaking the orders, some of you should get your units Tuesday, I've provided tracking numbers via email. Next set of units will be done testing and will ship Tuesday afternoon!

Cheers! And thanks for the orders!

PS: I've caught up on the builds, however I'm having a hard time getting my hands on enough 1x to 16x  and 16x to 16x risers w/ extensions. So new orders please be aware that this could delay your delivery!!!

Having a hidden WHOIS on a domain is standard protocol for anyone who doesn't want 40 or 50 emails and phone calls per day from indian people claiming that they can "rank my website good in google searches", so there you go, a second reason.

Okay dave you still never gave your last name.  What was that again?

And to counter your statement above.  I own thousands of domains.  I don't get 50 phone calls a day from "Indian" people a day, the emails go to spam.

I agree. I own domains and get phone calls & emails. Most of the emails do go to spam but a few don't, spam filters aren't perfect. I might hit you up, once the member reviews come back.

The spoon, and the pickaxe can have a case added for $40 extra, just add it in the notes if you order, I don't recommend a case though, open air (storage crate) is the best way to keep these units cool.

motherboad: old asus p5ld2 i had $0
RAM: 3gb DDR2 already have $0
PSU: $134
CPU: P4 already have $0
Graphics Card:  2x7950  $578 - link (http://www.umart.com.au/pro/products_listnew.phtml?id=10&id2=248&bid=2&sid=130347)
OS: free Xubuntu - link (http://www.cryptobadger.com/2013/04/build-a-litecoin-mining-rig-linux/)
Case: milk crate free  ;)

u forgot:
HDD: 4gb USB stick already have $0
x1 Riser cables $10
bit of wood for GPU mounting bar $5

Total for me: $727

both cards are running at 550 kh/s each overclocked (litecoin)

If you don't have stuff lying around should come to: ~ $788
(CPU RAM and Motherboard like this second hand $55) +  $6 for usb + $728

so it is possible you just have to be as strict with ur budget as possible & use things u already have - for true dedicated mining rigs, the cheaper it is the quicker it pays its self off

second hand stuff also has no warranty though, you would probs get better speeds under windows with the 13.3 beta drivers as well but is it worth it for $100 os + newer CPU , ram etc?

I originally accepted BTC, however it's too hard to turn into cash to buy parts, so it doesn't fit into my shipping time frame, waiting 3 days to get the cash when someone pays with BTC.

But for the price of 4 7970's you can get 6 7950's. So your point is not valid.
7950 is more hash per dollar. And also wattage.

err are you high TS?

$1,199 for a 7970 rig???

you can get a p45 mainboard, 2gb ram, a celeron for $150. Then a 7970 cost around $400 on newegg.
including psu it would only cost around $600

then  look at your TNT $2,549 - 3000 khash

5x 7950@ $300 = $1500
Mobo+CPU+8gbRAM+HDD = $200
1200W Coirsair AX1200 = $265
DIY rack $30 maximum

total $2000

7970s are $419
The PSU to handle all those cards (Seasonic 1250w GOLD rated) NOT JUNK is $259
ASRock 970 extreme 4 $99

etc.
etc.

Anyone could build these or build and sell them, I've remained open about that. The bottom line is I don't build JUNK. Most home mining rigs are junk.
Plus, the rig you described with 7950's would have no real hope of hitting 3000 kh/s

Again, this is more of a service than anything at the moment. Are we researching other alternatives (FPGA, ASIC) of course, but for now, this is what we do.

Thanks to everyone for all the orders so far!

The bottom line is I don't build JUNK.

That is some serious bs you are telling!

You are selling this heavy overpriced stuff in plastic milk crates without even fixing everything!

Unfortunately someone bought this crap and posted a picture.
He got so embarrassed for even posting pictures of it so he removed his post :)

Why not use 7950's for lite coin mining?

4 7950's would hash around 2000 kh/s 4 7970's will hash around 3000 kh/s.

Mind sharing what bios version and/or gpu clock and memory setting you used to get 750kh/s of these 7970 dual-x OC?

I only get 715kh/s on mine with 1015/1425 with cgminer and have it run stable without crashing for days.

Using default bios that comes with the card - version: 015.025.000.099.000000

My biggest question.  I like that you accept Bitcoins as a payment option, but your selling Litecoin miners.  Shouldn't you be accepting Litecoins as a purchasing option for your rigs.  And yeah, possibly a pic and spec sheets would be needed as well.  Your price for a computer with a 7970 is quite high, unless you have alot of good hardware inside.  But there are no details on what is inside.

We've been very busy with orders, I'm working on the site for the next couple of days, so I'll be sure to make those improvements!
