If you are saying the truth, then you have to be really happy with current market situation.
To be honest, I was dreaming about having at least the bigger part of my wealth stacked in cryptocurrencies, but i have only few % of it :(
It is also not worth for me to obtain more ( convert ) because the bitcoin price is waaay to high for an investment not on long-term.
I'm going to wait a little bit longer to see more attractive price, and probably I will try making my supply even bigger than it was before.

I don't really have much money in cryptocurrency at all. I had some money but most of it dissipated when some of my investments went sour.
Most of my money is in other financial instruments.

I should start investing more into btc/crypto because there can be a lot of great money there. However the liquidity of btc/crypto is still very weak in comparison to the alternatives (CDs, ETFs)
Same here--it's hard to lose money in the stock market nowadays, as well.  I do wish I'd kept the 1.X bitcoin I had last year, but I got burned on a loan and spent the rest of it.  I probably would have made more gains in crypto than the stock market.  Alas...was not meant to be.

But no, I do not have most/all/even half of my money in crypto.  And it'll never be that way.  I see bitcoin as insanely risky and I'm nearing old age, and thus I can't risk it.

At the moment 'NO'. And I don't think one should put all their money in btc/crypto either, two reasons come to my mind, one, it is very risky, you can lose a lot too, and secondly it will be quite expensive to use. So may put all your saving in btc or put 50% of your wealth in btc, but not the amount you're gonna need to use tomorrow or the day after. Because I feel to earn some valuable profit with such big investments, it has to be long term and for that, it shouldn't be all of your wealth but all that you can live without for a while.

I have almost 0.01 bitcoin and I know it is a small amount but since I started saving my satoshi around December last year, I am actually quite proud to achieve this amount which is now more than $10.

To put this into perspective: it is more money than in my bank account. I am over 30 years old. I never made much savings. So in a way, if I even just continue saving a little like now, it is most of my savings. (To put into another perspective, minimum wage in my country is $184 dollars, and my job is almost $240).

My target: have 0.24 BTC to match my salary!

I started investing to stock market in my country and after a year, I stumbled upon to cryptocurrency. When I learned about the basics of it, I just transferred all my money from stocks to crypto. This huge decision for me is now making me more money than the stock market provided. I still have ample amount of money in fiat but I can say that 30% to 40% of my fortune is in crypto right now. Understanding the risks is very important and I have exit plans in different scenarios that might occur in the future.

I don't think that every user makes their entire investment on bitcoin, because it is really annoying at times when price falls unexpected. So it's good to have our investment in different forms to compensate the lose with one another and be profited on holding it for a long time period.

Most of my savings are in fiat or investment funds and as it was a long term plans I dont intend to break them and put that money into BTC or altcoins. So whatever I earn in BTC, I just keep it in BTC for my future. So it might be like 1-2% of my total savings.

No , not you are alone . My one of friend of India have invested his full life savings in the bitcoin  .
Recently the posw coin got famouse then he decided to Invest his bitcoin in the posw coin and then he Invested about 3 BTC ,now he had 10 BTC for his Investment profit .
Since he had not told me before the Investment but after the bulk return profit he told me about his this story of Earning .
So here now I am also looking to turn my all saving into the bitcoin but currently the price seems very high , so I am waiting for the perfect timing .
And why not in the cryptocurrency a word is big famous in my friends community " risk is a part of earning , if you will take risk than you will make money " . :)

If you're asking if anyone is as confident in Bitcoin as you are, the answer will be no 95% of the time. People know to not invest more than they can afford to lose. Also, if you lose your credit card, there's no worry because you're covered. If you lose your wallet's passphrase to someone else... Irreversible loss.

we are all confident in bitcoin as a technology since we see the code and many understand it, we are confident in bitcoin as a payment system aka as a currency that we can use to pay for stuff online. but none of these have anything to do with the price and going all in (95% in) bitcoin because that is about price and price is not something to me sure enough about to do such a thing although history suggests that an all in has been a good idea so far.

even better for me, i didn't had any fiat to begin with, and all my money were generated from altcoin and bitcoin, i keep them here they are much safer than in any bank, i do have a bank account though..

basically 100% crypto but i did dump here and there to buy foods and other stuff that require fiat, still dreaming of a world where i can pay with bitcoin only or some altcoin too

I guess all of us dont put all of our money in a investment on cryptocurrency we can see the succes in this aspect but still risky and you will never do to invest all of your money if the btc price quickly go down your money just gone all.

I do not put all my money on Cryptocurrency, because I will have a problem when I do that, I still need fiat currency for my daily needs, payment for bills and weekly budget.  I also diversify and invest in different venture outside cryptocurrency.  Probably around 20% of my fiat is allocated to cryptocurrency though I admit it gives me the best return of investment.

I put almost all of my money in bitcoin because i believe that i will not regret it because the price will reach $2000 soon. So i decided to put almost all of my money and buy a lot of bitcoins when it was around 900-1000 USD price and now it is getting closer to 1500 USD mark price so i think bitcoin is doing pretty good and soon i will double my money and enjoy it 8).

I suppose it depends on your jurisdiction or your willingness to participate in evasion. Bitcoin is not an interest bearing instrument, so there are no taxes to be paid on interest. If I buy something with BTC, the merchant will slap sales tax on the cost of the purchase. If I exchange my BTC for fiat, I may or may not be liable for capital gains tax. Taxes paid or not applicable.

I think there are a lot of people put all of their investment into bitcoin or alt coin because it is very profitable for now, most of the coin I saw got a good rise and some of them rise 20% in a day, but I don't put all of my money to crypto because I don't like to take risks I only put the amount that I can afford to lose which is not more than 50% of my wealth

Hahaha you are lucky to have done that, Mr Richie rich lol. I also had wanted to do the same allocation from last September but my finances suddenly became very tight, so was restricted not to make the jump, which I till date regret it. But I do hope you are profit booking, or having some strong alts though I don't like alts, some people made good money on them. Lastly must say you took a risk and that's going to make you rich and rich.

sometimes i get scared about how much of my money is in bitcoin and then start selling a bit of it to balance things out.
i had a plan a couple of months ago to keep my total worth in 50% bitcoina nd 50% fiat but after all these months have passed i am still in about 90% bitcoin and 10% fiat and no matter how much bitcoin i sell these percentages don't change!

If you are keeping track of the price value of bitcoin it landed on the $1400 value I think you are happy with the result of it rising it's value, but as of now the value fluctuate back to $1397.37 well I don't know the real reason for this but if you are considering that your decision in making all of your money into bitcoin a good thing? well for my opinion I think you can have a bit of a problem if the impending facts have happen number 1 the fork will occur, or regarding the halving if it will still happen like that, but it is good that it not happen, 2 internet connection will be shutdown and be a mare history in the face of the earth that O am praying not to happen, will be a great treat for you!

technically as young bitcoiner, i realized that sometimes u cant even afford to be broke in banks. u have to maintain balance for ur money to still have interest. Where as bitcoin, broke is broke rich is rich. It's easy to transact and many ways to withdraw it. True that it takes time for confirmations but isnt it the gist why blockchain is created? Most of the money i spent was with bitcoin so i have no problem having all my earnings in bitcoin.

Although bitcoin grows strong and stable, however, it is still a virtual currency, there are always certain risks when you invest in it. For many people, perhaps they think that bitcoin is safe, however, I think they were wrong, it always sought to hide the risk of collapse, especially when the altcoins grow stronger. I never invest too much in bitcoin.

No, I don't have all my money invested in btc or any other crypto currency. Maybe around 10%-20% only because I still have other portfolio like stocks and mutual fund investment locally. For me, if you are really into investment, you need to diversify. That's the first thing I learn when I started investing specially in stock years ago.

It doesn't make sense to go all in on anything. That's the biggest mistake one can make in his/her financial life.

Always make a portfolio, divide your wealth in various assets. Bitcoin maybe one of them. It maybe the major one or the minor one. It all depends on the risk you are willing to take.

I am not much of a risk taker so I keep it around %10.

That should be the principle of a trade or investor. Meanwhile, I put 20% of my savings in bitcoin since I see its potential to rise more than we could expect. It's just a matter of time in order to reach that and I don't see any reason for bitcoin to volitile again as I see too many good news in crypto currency.

I'm not also buying that we should put all our money in bitcoin or any other crypto out there. What if this bubble burst? What will happened to you if you have all money in there? Safe to put around 10% as other poster said above, at least if you got busted, you still have money left for you to invest to others like real estate or stocks.

As far as I know, the bitcoin you are holding now, regardless if you earned it, is not yet taxable if it is in bitcoin form. At the moment you convert it into fiat, then that money is then taxable. Correct me if I am wrong, I just read this information weeks ago from this forum.

I agree that we also pay taxes if we purchased something from a merchant, that is if the merchant/ business is registered legally, which is called the value added tax. Bottom line, we are still paying tax in an indirect manner.

I don't know why anyone would have all of their money in any form of crypto, but for some people I've seen they have a good chunk of their money in Bitcoin or other cryptos and trade them relatively constantly. Not exactly the best move in my opinion, but if it works for them I won't argue.
Right now anything I earn from cryptos I'm keeping in a crypto form, no point trying to convert it right now. At least not while you can still ride the bull trend.

Yes, as of January this year I am 100% in BTC and 9 other alt coins, and have more than quadrupled my investment. No one coin is more than 25% of my portfolio. I left the stock market which is tougher to get such big gains in. This was a gut wrenching decision for me, but I understand most block chain technology better than stocks. One reason I like the alt-coins is you can essentially get in coins at the VC stage. With stocks, by the time the stock IPO's all the easy money is made. VC's make the big big money. Sure, many of these alt-coins won't make it, but it only takes one.

I truly believe we are upon a blockchain revolution, and I plan on riding it as far as I can. Chaos seems to be rising in the world and that helps the block chain revolution take off. Now that being said, if things start to look a little too bubbly I will scale back some into to Fiat. But I have a pension coming my way when I retire so I can take more risks then most. Good luck everyone. You got to be in it, to win it.

Nah, I woulodn't put that much faith into all the business relating to cryptos, I understand that some people do swear by it and say that the banks are out to get you or something but I just don't get how people could put faith in this when they know the bubble for these cryptos and Bitcoin is going to pop at some point. When is the question that we don't know the answer too.

I would advise not doing this bud, you wouldn't want to lose everything you have, banks may not make you money but you're not going to lose all of your hard earned money in a bank so -- yeah.

Good luck though, wish ya the best.

I'm nowhere near close to have most or all of my money in cryptos of any kind. I have some wealth in them but it is far from being anywhere close to a significant chunk of my net worth. There is no reason to be that involved with cryptos, and there is way too much volatility to have a large amount of your money in anything like Bitcoin and not being playing the market 24/7.

Then again though, I have a lot relatively speaking, so maybe I'm overestimating what others have invested in their own right.

i have like 80% of my money on cryptos, mostly because the crisis in my country (venezuela), i have a work into the informatic world in an small company, so i use my montly sallary for normal debs, since i know crypto world, i have been trading and earning even more from trading than my work, off course small profits but from where i am, thanks to inflation, thats a lot of money, i earn 40$ in my work and i earn like 50$ montly trading,  i think it work for me, having a job and trading has a "proffesional" hobby to have a decent income of money.

my opinion is: cryptos are the new way to introduce normal people to the exchange world.

No much, government bonds are nothing but useless IOU, the stock market is nothing but a casino where only the big fish makes money, gold and silver are stagnant, cash and anything similar loses value every second, real estate may be an option but you need big capital, so there are not many options.

Nope, and I don't think I'll ever do. The reason being it feels insecure. I actually want my money (most of it) stored in my bank, I like the services my bank offers and the security around it. Also I don't wanna risk Bitcoin prices going down, which means all my fortune is suddenly worth 20% less. When I have 1000$ in my bank, I know for sure it is 1000$ and not 800-1200$.

It is not a wise decision to store all your asset into one investment as you always need a back up plan if and when those investments gets back fired.Let me tell you a story ,hope you remember the financial meltdown ten years back, people have invested a lot of hard earned money in stock and when the stock market got hit by the recession majority of the people lost their shares and just think what if they invested everything into it,they should have filed for bankruptcy. So always diversify your investments for a better and safe growth.

Thanks to my stake in NEM which is completely unsold, about 33% of my net worth is in cryptos.  That could rise to 60% or fall down to 20%.. I'm betting on a rise because of the technology the coin possesses. Some would say I'm insane to not sell it now, then again my co-worker said I was insane last spring when it made it's first rise to about $30K in value. Meh.. to me it's almost like it's not real since I never invested a cent of my own money into it.. I got a stake for free.

They're like little penny stocks.. stock have no inherit value except the value they are given... technically you can say that about fiat, gold, or anything, really. Supply and demand.. value is in the eyes of the beholder. Wealth is really an illusion.

I do know that cryptos trade on a global market, and 35 billion dollars is a drop in the bucket on a global scale... that's about the market cap of Nintendo, NTDOY stock right now.. one company among hundreds which have far higher market caps... 35 billion is nothing.  There is tens of trillions in debt out there, hundreds of trillions in assets, and that's not even counting other countries and other currencies. However, until the large scale ability to exchange cryptos for fiat exists without massive delays, the market for cryptos will be somewhat limited. We need more exchanges that do fiat, and they need to get their act together and hire some people to handle their load so stuff gets done within a couple days, not a couple weeks.

Like it or not, if you want cryptos to take off, you have to play with the big boys. They are the gatekeepers. Right now exchanges feel a bit like rolling the dice keeping coin in them right now, and it shouldn't feel that way. Another MtGox type scenario is what we want to avoid, for the good of this technology.

1. No one ever gets rich by "diversifying".. Warren Buffet doesn't "diversify"..

2. Fiat cash sucks and is one of the worst things you could possibly hold because it is guaranteed to lose value by its very design..

3. I have a LOT more BTC than cash but I have very little cash.. But, of all things I own my BTC is probably like 7%..

I'm out of town for work and have barely enough $ to live on. I brought my BTC for emergency purposes only.. I will go hungry and out of smokes before I spend my BTC.. I will only spend my BTC if it's the only way to get me home..

I have 30% of my money invested to cryptocurrency.  I can see that there is a lot to profit in venturing in this industry but I am still a bit cautious to not put all my eggs in one basket so I only invested part of my money to crypto and others to investment outside cryptocurrency.  At least if one fails, the other can redeem it.

Even thirty percent seems like too much dude, I hope and pray that the amount of money that is in crypto is in less volatile coins such as Bitcoin, as the others are disgustingly more volatile and could show that 30 percent of your money can vanish in one day if the crypto bubble blew or something along those lines occur.

Also, if I may ask the people that have a large portion of their money in cryptos do you store the coins in a wallet or on some sort of exchange for long term holding? Also, long term or day traders when it comes to the cryptocurrency that you own.

Risky but it could pan out well if ya get lucky.

Having only bitcoins and some altcoins, closed most of my bank accounts 2 years ago, CC too - just keep on account for recieving payments from my clients.
Im converting back to fiat mostly amount i need for 2-3 days, or if i need to take flight will use prepaid from bitwala.io
Trying to pay us much possible with bitcoins.

So sometimes im hedging i little - going to alts lately mostly, not shorting BTC anymore. Within this two years i see how much my mindset is changed, im buing stuff i really need and living very simple, mostly traveling around the world.

That is great for you if you living your life with bitcoin mostly because not all of us can do that and try to live and pay things using bitcoin because i think it is too early for that but good start and the best thing you did is you closed your CC so you don't need to worry about getting in debt. I also agree that you get some altcoins because they are the next bitcoin so it is best to invest in some.

I'm not living with bitcoin only but the majority of my money is on cryto's. I just use my salary for my daily necessities and convert all my saving to BTC a few years ago. I'm very for the result of my risk investment here. I almost triple my savings. :)

I was able to profit from the Bitcoin that i bought and now all the Bitcoin that i have are just my winning even if i loss them all i will never exchange all or most of my money for Bitcoin, it is better to be safe than sorry later because the more Bitcoin i have the more urge i get wanting to gamble.

No, I have only ~20% of my money in btc. I'm still prefer to keep biggest part of my savings in fiat. Not because that I don't believe in bitcoin future or something else. Fiat is just more convenient. I just need to go to ATM and withdraw my cash if I need. If I would keep my money in bitcoin - I would need to deposit it to exchange, then withdraw fiat. It requires more time and also it costs some fees.
I don't have plans to keep al my money in bitcoins, but probably I will increase part of my money which I keep in bitcoins to bigger percentage.

Normally, I have around 10-15% of my portfolio allocated on bitcoin, since I don’t have any altcoins at the moment. That is relatively small compared to some of what I am reading here because I always try to play it on the safe side. I don’t want to expose myself to too much risk and that percentage is just about where I am comfortable at right now. Things might change though as more and more things are going in favor of bitcoin with a lot of investors looking at it as another option.

It depends on the amount of risk you are willing to take, if you are not comfortable taking too many risks then  diversifying seems like a good choice, but you must understand that the average people is not that diversified either most of their money is in their houses, cars, and bank accounts.

Yes do not put all your money in cryptocurrencies because the future is still not that clear so it will be a high risk for you to put all your money there. If you want to invest in cryptocurrencies then just put a little bit of your money for long term and i think that is enough for you to earn money because bitcoin price are pumping high and soon it will get a very high price like 5000 USD.

It doesn't really matter how much money, it is what you can afford to lose that matters. If you are young or it is play money then it could be worth the risk. But of course these coins are highly volatile so the risks should be known.

Yeah I would agree there, there is still a lot of risk with putting all money I'm BTC, other than legality there also is the price risk we never know if BTC drops dead. With that said even if someone puts 'all'  his money in Btc it would not be practical as how is he supposed to pay to someone who doesn't accept bitcoin, as bitcoin isn't accepted in A LOT of places.

It seems you are right on what you believe in at this moment.  Though the question is, until when we are right with our prediction that bitcoin price will go up?  Bitcoin price won't forever increase, once the market reach its maximum saturation, price will either be stable or worst decline.  I hope you can cash out your bitcoin at its peak.

This is to make sure that I won't be touching my BTC for a very long time..

well, it is basically a fiat is still very dominate in every activity we do. Because fiat direct deals about the Government, where the Government has always set all things in the transaction or the rotation of their wealth. But at least you have a chance to get an advantage in the bitcoin, as if seen from all the data that is in the future of the bitcoin has a pretty good potential. Though perhaps there will be some changes, but I believe they are saving some of the bTC will get many advantages

Great diversification. That is a good money management because you are not risky and you don't invested all your money savings into bitcoin because there is a chance if you put all your money in bitcoin then when you need money for emergency, you need to sell your bitcoins first for a not high price which is not a good one to sell. Keep diversifying your money and at the end of the day you will be satisfied ;D.

Still have some bank accounts around the world for recieving fiat from some clients but converting them always almost instantly to BTC. Considered this long time before but after selling my startup, went to traveling and dont ever looking back - feels cool.

Some holdings - in DCR, STR - something like less than 1%

Maybe. But not advisable to put all your money to cryptocurrencies. Me, i put half of my earnings on cryptos and the other half is going to my wallet. Bitcoin and other cryptos are volatile. You know how risky it is. But crypto is a form of investment. Only if you manage it right. Also only few people are succeeded on crypto.

But being just confidence will not guarantee no-losses. Do or die is not a philosophy of a good investors, they want to do even some are dying. Probably bitcoin is an lone opportunity you may go with 100%, if you are not believing into diversification, could you get me any other investment opportunity except bitcoins where I may go 100% for better returns.

Even I am already saving only bitcoins, I am not suggesting anyone to go 100%, we should not break the basics. The prime principle of investment must be diversification. When we are sticking with basics, we are having minimum guarantee.

I'm not 100% in Bitcoin, not even 100% in crypto in general. It's just too volatile at the moment to be used as storage of value, even if the prices are just going up mostly.

Most don't have a large amount of their money on BTC because it is too new and too risky. Who has a lot of coins was a super early adopter that kept his/her coins "forgotten".
The new altcoins that are been created in these days has attracted much attention, with investors trying to figure out which can be the next BTC... maybe this one way to earn a lot... or lose all::)

Ethereum is growing alongside it but they are not the same animal , differently designed for different purposes but that's not to say anything necessarily  bad about the altcoins..

I think doing it is risky big enough because all your money is in cryptocurrency and if that's crypto has a decreasing in price the auto you will experience big loss. eventhough if price up you get bigger profit it's better to have in safe zone with half your money in crypto.

I agree with you that investing or putting all your money will become a very risky move because we can't be sure what is the next move of the market so it is best to just invest a few amounts of our money and do the safe method to minimize the risk which is buying regularly so we will not be stuck at a single price and we can buy to the average price as much as possible.

yes you are right that it will be good for those who have all the money in bitcoin because of the high price of bitcoin, but i think it is much risky to keep all the money in bitcoin as at this time the price is very high and more profitable but if the price of bitcoin decrease to great extend then i think their all money will be gone. So in my opinion we have to keep half money in bitcoin or crypto and half in fiat.

I can not understand any reason that can make the value of bitcoin suddenly increase dramatically in a short time. It made me so surprised. No event of great magnitude can make the value of bitcoin change fast. It makes me feel confused, and meanwhile, why are people still buying bitcoin continuously while its value is too high, I really do not understand.

Bitcoin price changed fast because of the demand. Many investors got interested on it because it is now well known. As for the reason why many people are still buying it even though the price is high is because they are hoping that the increase in value will continue and by that time, they can sell their Bitcoin on a higher price.

Japan has embraced Bitcoin and they are promoting it heavily there. Also institutional investors don't want to miss out and are throwing some cash it's way. It only takes an extra $3 Million a day to push it's price higher. Also Russia and India are starting to be less harsh towards bitcoin and may allow it soon.

It's really hard to call the top or bottom in Bitcoin in this environment with Japan becoming a heavy buyer now. I dollar cost average by buying a small amount of Bitcoin daily. $5 daily is a good start. Don't think about the price rather how many micro-Bitcoins you can stack. $1500 per Bitcoin is a pretty high and it costs $300 more than an  ounce of GOLD! Don't think it will get much cheaper, but I do suspect a drop to $1000 to $1200, but we don't know for sure. Better to buy a small amount daily to keep your savings in Bitcoin. Of course diversify in a little Gold and Silver, Real Estate/Land and/or small amount in conventional stocks like REIT's, Mining Companies and other industries.

If you have 1.000$ total and you do have it in bitcoin, there is nothing to be surprised about. But If you have 100.000$ total and have it in bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, this is extremely risky.

Well described the risk of investing all the money into bitcoin. When limited amount is invested into the cryptocurrencies and even if something worse happens it won't affect the user. Same if the entire earning is invested we don't have any other choice to live further, because bitcoin is unpredictable.

I think most of the btc mega rich got into it when it was extremely cheap.  Don't know many people who cashed out their stocks, sold their houses, sold their businesses, etc and bought btc with it.

of-course it will be more risky that you have all the money invested in bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies because if something happen and the price of that crypto become extremely decreased then it will greatly affect your financial condition. i think you should invest wisely in any cryptocurrency or bitcoin like invest some of the portion of your income and keep the rest in the form of fiat then in such cases you will not be affected by dump.

But having $100,000 invested could also potentially be very rewarding as the block chain is in it's infancy. The question is not how much it will be worth in a few days or months but how much will it be worth in 3 - 5 years.

I do not know why it is so difficult to understand, bitcoin can be exchanged like any other currency in the world, also the big price swings comes from the fact bitcoin is not as big as those fiat currencies and that makes bitcoin more susceptible to changes in its price.

$100,000 is relatively small for billionaires and not really a big-risk sort of investment, sort of like just loose change for them. And if I am one of them, I would definitely get into bitcoin right now and maybe allot about a million dollars and just let it stay in there for at least two years. The potential to double that money is quite high given the performance of bitcoin in the last 18 months or so.

If you have bought bitcoins when the price was still low then your really lucky some people are now regretting to have not bought bitcoins when it's still early, now they're waiting for it's price to go down which is very unlikely to happen.
I think the price will continue to rise, to bad i haven't any bitcoin cause im really broke.

I would never convert all my 'spare' money in btc, I'd rather have a few different type of currencies in case something would ever go wrong.

But it would also depend on the amount you are saving up in btc. if you have a million dollars spare, I wouldn't put 50% of it in bitcoin to be honest, but if it was a smaller amount I would.

It is better to be safe in cryptocurrencies rather than going all in on investments because it is very risky for the people around there who are greedy especially if they don't have any knowledge about the investments because it will often lead for a loss rather than earnings. It is better for them to just spend a small percentage of their money for investment to be sure that they will not get a huge loss.

Not yet, since I live in a country where I have to spend in only in fiat (even for online expenditure), in this case, I have to keep my wealth in fiat. However, I have maintained a cold storage and I hope I would make good savings in the long run. I wish I could use bitcoins in offline areas in my town but it seems that it will take some more time.

Maybe the right term if applied to me is, currently, if possible Im adding my reserve crypto due to the obvious fact that bitcoin and some other alts are experiencing a noticeable price increase. But not to the point that all of my assets and majority of my resources are in crypto.

Just like the normal flow, some portion for crypto related things, some portion for real life and anything else. What matter here is the essence of diversifying all methods we have in order to gain profits for a long term.

But atm am starting to believe investing in digital assets like bitcoin is the way to go.

xrp make over two hundred percent increased in price for the past one week so having your investment share in altcoins is  good for now. You can also share your investment in a long time coin like creditbit, eth, litecoins with at list 50% of your risk capital and 50% in bitcoin. That is what am doing now.

No matter the current big Bitcoin price its not very good idea to put all funds in Bitcoins or cryptocurrencies in general. It's never good to keep all eggs in one basket. But it's good to invest extra money that you don't need or earn some Bitcoins and collect it in the wallet, with time this is a very good investment.

Well, the good thing is that you don’t have too and since your earnings are very high I doubt anyone in his right mind will sell their bitcoins with the only exception if you want to sell just to buy more bitcoin when the price decreases.

Isn't that a bit too risky? Having all your money invested in bitcoin? Yes, the rewards will be a considerable amount if it skyrocketed. But what if, the reverse happened? Instead of skyrocketing, it crashes to 100$? (Of course, hypothetically.)

Btw, I haven't invested money to bitcoin, yet. Since I am still a student who are still in the care of my parents. But soon, I'll invest my money. But not all. Maybe a fraction of it.

Actually, many people or maybe already most of the people around the world for sure are already into giving or investing most or all of their money into cryptocurrencies because of the news that come up which mainly inhibits the potentiality of cryptocurrencies to grow in price compared to regular currencies. If you will sum it up, it will truly mean that it is worth to put up your money into cryptocurrencies that is why for sure, not only you have that experience of having your most or even all your money into it.
