hey.. i am new here...now i am start a tradding bt i dont know which coin best for tradding...anyone can suggest me...

ETC, ETH, XMR, XRP and LTC are the best coins to trade at a moment and even if price goes down do not panic and hold them till the right time comes as if you get panic then you will be surely selling your coins at huge loss.

Theoretically the best coin to trade is high volume, high number of trades and high volatility. IMO i look at these factors but i also choose a coin that i like/believe in. As i am not a great trader sometimes i end up with a so called bag of coins. If it is a coin i believe i just relaxe and wait for the price to come back instead of panic selling it.

Which coins do you believe in?

Currently for me holding Bitcoin is best for trading as its going high day by day can give some good profit but still if some one want to do trading in alt coins then can give try to these coins also ETH, XRP and LTC because currently on good note and giving some good profit but do this all with carefully as much you can afford to lost good luck

currently i think bitcoin is best coin for trading and the second coin is Etherioum is best of trading but mostly people like bitcoin because bitcoin increasing its price too much faster day to day and bitcoin trading is very much easy simple than other coin so i prefer that bitcoin is the best for trading. 

I am afraid that's a question that no one can answer (even those who think they did). There are no specific coins to trade. You do your own search, and you choose what coin to trade. That's how you will get experience. And don't take anyone's advice – they will troll you for their own benefits (or amusement).

Depends on your purpose, is it for long term or short term.
Some famous coins such as ethereum, dash, monero, byteball or zcash will give you profit if you have big capital to invest as the price already higher than mostly altcoins.
Some new coins on ico process or presale such as quantum could be profitable as well due to current price still cheap and many investors join in the project, it will give you nice profit obviously.

Since you are a newbie, I suggest for you to do a research first on the best or top 10 altcoins as of now. Then if you have done doing that, weigh which of the coins you feel like there is a big chance for you to make profit.

Check the coin from coinmarketcap usually the top 10 coins is good to trade,but make that only as your references, you need to do research to know which coin to trade sometimes not famous coin can make bigger profit, the key is to find the trend coin because all çoin based on market demand so there are no best coin to trade

If you want a stable coin and if you know some patterns that you can apply in trading then bitcoin will be the best for you to trade but if you are planning for some diversification then altcoins will be the best, you can look for the top altcoins but do not invest all your money in top altcoins because just some of them will succeed so it is better to do some research first.

XRP, Crb, and ETH. Those are great coins you should buy them. I suggest you to buy multiple alts since altcoin trading is very unpredictable work. Also will cover your loss if ever one the your alt crashed. For newbie like you. Poloniex and bittrex is good exchange coz they're simple than other exchange. You can CRB on livecoin and hopefully it will hit other major exchange soon.

And I agree as these are the top five coins in terms of capital and trading volume. These are facing bright future ahead and expected to soon accelerate its price that can make their holders happy and smiling all the way to the bank. Of course, when one is already into trading he can get exposed to other less-known coins which also got potential to churn out nice profits. Just be careful with the pump and dump cycle not unless you already know how to play the game.

Every coin is good but all depend on your strategy and money management. If you don't have trade plan I suggest you make it happen first, please. Never forget to try on demo account and maybe with little fund you have. A good strategy will bring you profit in every coin you choose to trade. I suggest trade on eth, xrm and ltc for day trading. If you are a beginner then altcoin is a very interesting option. But if you look at the current state then trading bitcoin is a smart choice. You can take advantage of the current bitcoin price increase. I recommend you to buy some bitcoin at this time.

If you are a day trader then selecting on top coins on marketcap would be the best choice since you can able to make money out of it if you do know how to trade it actively since price are volatile on those coins and do have good volume but if you are a long trader then i would suggest XRP,VSLICE and theres so lot to mention.Just dont forget the guidelines on choosing one and on how to trade with them.

I suggest you should not focus too much on the top coin because you are just a newbie, you do not know too much about trading and you have no experience, you will have no way to deal with the large fluctuation of the top coin and your psychology will be easy to panic selling, so the top coin trading is not suitable for you. You should focus on the potential coin, maybe top 1x-2x, fluctuations from these coin are low and sometimes there will be strong pumps, you can profit from 20-30%

yeah you are right that altcoin trading is good for new trader and if they get knowledge and experience in trading then they can trade with high point and high balance because if someone are expert in trading then no worry about to lost your money.

For now who mention to choose XMR or monero is not a good to buy since graually is decreasing.. unlike before that actually increasing to fast.

I think for now bitcoin is the best for trading.This is becoming popular.
It is be known as one of the latest coin promoting a high standard of currency.

BCN XRP DGB I think there's not a special coin for trading because depending on their market circumstances, I suggest to often see in ANN altcoin thread to see the information but if you can read candlestick it will be better.

We can't easily predict what coin that has a potential to pump and have profited by just looking at the graph in an exchange site because the history of the transaction there has no pattern or no relation that can help us to predict the best coin. Choosing the coin with tons of funds gathered during the crowdsale is one of the nice way of choosing potential coin so that the devs has a lot of backup funds that can cover once hard dump occur.

It really depends on the demand of that coin, but if I were you I'll keep looking at market in different exchanges to keep you updated so you would know where and which coin you would take risk for your investments. yes that can be correct as there are a lot of alt coin having very low price but still they have good potential to their price and therefore we can expect that the price of these altcoin can increase more and more and can therefore give you good profit, you just need to choose the right cons for investment.

Any coin that are listed as top 10 alts according to their market-cap are good for trading for example ETH, XMR, XRP etc and coins like DGB or PINK that sometimes get pumped are not good for both short term and long term trading because they won't have enough daily trading volume to make any profit. You will loss holding some shit coins in your bag.

If you don't know which alt to trade, then you should stick to top 10 coin on coin marketcap. If not, look at the one which has a lot of trading volume on exchange. If you want bigger profit, you should search some hidden gems in the alt coin section.

There are pros and cons in your strategy. I agree if we are looking at daily trading volume, we may easily find out highly established altcoins. But at the same time we may wrongly find some highly manipulated coins like ripple or steller. I am saying these because these are two coins from same company and not based on decentralization concept but being traded similar to all other crypto currencies.

This is good tip because I was going to do some search for alt coins now just going to check some good and well established coins because currently few are pumping which can give big shock which is not good enough I have some good profit from XRP but now leaving this as its going very quickly which is not good for the time

Yes check which is top 10 and which got more volume in exchange you can buy that coin. Now lots of coins have arrived in the market, and some altcoins are growing too fast. Just 1 or 2 days you will get up to 50 - 60% profit. If you buy that coins and hold for some weeks, you will get almost double profit.

I think we should not focus only on one coin or few coins in the market. Rather there should be versatile trading when it comes to coins. This is because there nature to rise quickly and sadly to dump with a blink of an eye. So in any way it is not that easy to sustain or rely on only one or few coins. Studying the coin is very first chapter in my case. I would atlas track the progress for 3-5 days and will also check its past trends and how it did in the market. The altcoins that it worth to be trade of is Litecoin, Dogecoin, Etherium, and so on. You could check also the other Altcoins on an exchanger site, and you could see the list of altcoins there and also their price history. In that way you could decide what Altcoin you are going to buy to be use in Trading.

Actually,  all of altcoins that has a huge volume but shitcoins are better for trading since all of them have many investors, their market won't volatile easily and their market can dunp and pump thus no one can tell which is better and which is worse.

If you have high investment like 1 0 btc then it's better if you trade those with a well established coin like xmr , etc , eth , ltc , doge etc. If you have a small amount of bitcoin then trading with these won't give you much prodit so instead you can trade with useless coin but remember too many risk is involved.

yeah I am experienced in the Bitcoin trading but I can't suggest you for the particular altcoin to buy or sell . Here I will suggest you to buy those altcoins which are stable but at low price and my second advice for you is that never become faster in trading ,always use  constant thinking of mind for buying the and coins and always sell your coins more than the rate of the altcoins that you bought . Most of the traders got feared when the price of altcoin get down but you should not and always have patience in your mind until the price get increase .
I am using this simple strategy for the trading in altcoin as well as in Bitcoin and never got any loss .

I suggest you to start study the market first. How this markets works and how to trade on exchange. You can't just jump into market and buy anything you want. That's the common mistake of a newbie on trading and I've been through that. Its hard because i lost a lot of money. But i learned a lot. Trading is a risky job. You might lose your money if you don't know how to analyze. I suggest put a little amount first and you feel comfortable then go buy huge. You don't need to be full time on trading. Alts are on dump right now so its not a best option to deal with them at this moment and i suggest that trading with bitcoins might be better for now since as i see the stats right now its having a quite good flactuation where we can earn if we just follow its track and do some short tradings with it. But of your afraid for its flactuation then might be good if we just buy those huge ICO coin who's been added newly on exchanges since they've got a high potential to be pump up in near future.

Find a coin and research about it. Look at the volume and liquidity of that atlcoin. Check their market cap, their purpose and their time of release. It is better to invest in altcoins that have existed for a long time. But put of most importance the knowledge you have on a coin before you even buy it. Well yeah I agree before we chose any alt coin to trade it is very important to find the history of that coin because it will help you find the ideal one for the investment you are going to make. The best option is to check the currency birth time and growth from its birth. This will make you enable to invest in the right coin.

You can do that if you are going to invest in ICO's but for me its too risky that investing to other altcoin that already in top rankings. Or live for a long time that i think much more safier than investing in ICO's that it takes too much time to research and check the history of altcoin..

It is not that safer to trade traditional coins because there is still a chance for you to lose some money and be frustrated because trading is trading and it is normal for the market to have up and downs and it is not guaranteed that you will not experience down when you trade traditional coins. I choose the altcoins that has large capitalization of markets, they had survived on exchangers for long time,
so the altcoins will not become shitcoins/scam coins​,
i took reference from http://coinmarketcap.com/ and  do not trading the new altcoins
 it is more dangerous than old altcoins.

As you are a newbie in trading, you should learn some basics firstly, then you can start trading.
Better to trade coins that have the biggest capitalizations, because these coins always fluctuate. Steem, ETC, DASH....

According to me if you want to check that which coin is best or not then you can do this by just going on coinmarketcap and you can check the demand and volume of all the Cryptocurrencies and it will help you to decide which coin is best to trade or not.
I always Prefer to trade those coins which have high demand and high supply also the coins having their own wallet because it's very Risky to trade those coins which have less demand and they don't have their wallet.

Top 10 in coinmarket cap would be better to trade with since that coins are not easily to be dump and the strong crypto coins who's existing right now. And for the top 10 listed i love to do some short trades on the top 1 since the flactuation of it is pretty cool and profitable for little while right now.

All coins gave fluctuations, will you catch the right moment for buying/selling depends from you and how well informed you are. For me best coins are cheap one, but if I'm rich I would trade with bitcoins, with less money I would trade with zcash, dash, eth, but with money I have now I trade with ripple, bitshares, today I bought some shift also, but J hold more then I trade it's safer and you can always have an exit strategy.

Absolutely. With Bitcoin too, it went crazy down in April due to fear of BTU, but now mid-may it's crazy high. You gotta have patience and trust the coins you invest in. If you don't trust the BTC or altcoins, do NOT invest in them.

OP, at first tell me what do you mean in word "best"? You want such coin which will be low priced when you buy and high priced when you decide to sell, am I right? Everyone acts like a newbie in trading, if we trade blindly like you. Better for you to learn analyze of information, read more and after those two, you won't ask this question again. Every coin is best, it depends on how person trades with them.

Probably you very correctly answered that in the first place you need knowledge of a person who undertakes to trade, even then choose the object of trade and each coin has its own individual characteristics.

haha, it never happens. We buy a coin at low price thinking we bought the best coin but as soon as we buy it, it goes further down, making our decisions the worst one.  And what more a newbie trader do in panic, is sell the coins in loss making it a total loss and then declare trading a scam.

When it comes to long-term investment xem/nem is the one altcoin also Maid, and Bay, good for  long term.

no specific coin though. try tonreaf threads about upcoming coins because there are more profits to be claimed there. or just run through bitcointalk. i've earned quite some amount with dgb this past week. if you want a more secure but slow movement try the old coins like etherium or doge

It is always proven practice that we collect facts about the coins that you are going to invest into, will ensure profitful trading. But for me I guess trading in 20-25 alts is quite a huge portfolio and I guess it will be quite difficult for many of us around to maintain such a huge portfolio. I recommend a maximum of 15 as I personally don’t go above it.

I personally think that ETH has a lot bigger potential than BTC , cause it has more usages and more control transparency as a decentralized currency + smart contracts system + many companies are currently implementing ETH in their own ecosystem. But i would like to invest more in some of other cryptos. I am looking forward at Ripple, NEM, Stellar and also new ICOs coming out as Bancor (which is my personal favorite), Monaco and so... If you look at the charts almost all of the alt coin market had a very good rally and if you were able to invest in any one of the coins you should have made a good profit,even coins like doge who were not moving for a very long time had a big rally and with the price so high i am not sure which coin is suitable to invest right now.Look for a correction and read the charts and plan on entering the coin.

I'm trading from a long time now and I feel there is no other coin which is better than Bitcoin in terms of trading. If you can predict with a good amount of luck then the fluctuations will help you in trading. Increased my investment near to 30% from only trading in some months now.

I agree that there is no better than bitcoin in terms of buy support (price stability).  But when it comes to profit, there are lots of alternate cryptocurrency that can give you more profit than bitcoin.  To know the coin, you need to research the market, read several coins and look for a coin that had been around in the market for years and had been long idle.  Just make sure that there is an active development on this coins else you will lose your money buying dead coins.

The 'best' coins to trade  are coins which:

1. Price movement can be predicted easily, with solid roadmap and transparent milestones.
2. Coins with clear and serious purpose, and experienced and capable dev team.
3. You may want to avoid coins with no price movement, Litecoin was such coin for a very long time, until SegWit news.

If you are looking for easy trading way you sure take the advice and it is alright. But if you are willing to take the time and the risk the better way or the better coin is the low class coin because just like bitcoin it sure will develop and its volume will increase and develop also as soon as the support for it increased and the investment for it will increased also. I only agree with ethereum is the best coin to buy because it is more likely the next bitcoin in the market and its price says it all that it is a good coin and the smart contacts is one of the booster of ethereum and also because of the news of the companies that already invested in ethereum. it will be long time of the trend, many people said it will become $30/ETC in 3 months

It is not only collection different coins but you have to run then as well. The number of 20-25 is too much it is not possible for a single person to maintain it. Honestly speaking I don’t find it a true one how could some give time to manage all these? If in real someone is managing this number then we must appreciate the management skills of the concerned person. I will love to get some tips from him/her for the portfolio management.

You need to have diligent research and study on your own. Although you can see a lot of good advice and opinions here, you need to equip yourself too. What will happen if the coin you holding drops down? If you're just copying, you will panic and might sell at heavy losses. But if you are updated with the coin itself and there are good news coming plus the technology is impressive, you gotta hodl.

I think that new coin is very good to trade because the price is very unstable and it can go up and down for 50% in one day. Try to follow the news in the announcement thread too

My phenomenon is a bit different from the others. Many of you may not like it but some of you may agree with my opinion. I don’t find anymore charm in the price of the Bitcoin.

Though it is doing really well but I don’t consider it suitable for trading anymore, because I feel there are fewer users of the bitcoin then the investors. The bitcoin is actually losing its purpose, it was meant to be in a circulation for the buying and purchase of goods and services.

Yes there are currently a lot of project of Ethereum moving around. This is really a very good sign for not only the ethereum to going towards more success and achievements but as a whole it is a very good sign for the alts. Also it is good for the atls users so that there be a competition in the market to discourage the monopoly.

Mostly the top 10 coins are good for trading. If you are looking to day trade, look for coins that have good volume and continuously moving. Nowadays  there are so many coins threads in the altcoins section of forum. But i always check ICO/bounty threads beforehand  beware about campaign rules for specific coins. ETH getting more popular due to Bitcoin High Transaction fees and Delay in Confirmation of Transaction making other users to use ETH for their small value transaction and just wanted to be long on BTC. So it is really good for trading in ETH, you can see that yesterday ETH was 0.105 btc and today it is more then 10% down to 0.09btc. so this much of volatility in ETH trading.

How you can be sure that ethereum is still trading low. In quick time, it has reached very very big price levels beyond 0.1 bitcoins hence I'm not seeing it trading lower. Though I have invested in some of the top 10 currencies so that to mitigate the risk and beside it I invest in the ICO’s which are more likely profitable. This strategy is very helpful for me.

There is no hard and fast rule for which coins are best for trading or which aren't. All depends upon present situation and performance of coins. You always need a plan how you should enter and perform in cryptocurrencies market. My suggestion is you should divide your total budget into 3 parts. Parts can be equal in starting and later on divided into different ratios on the basis of performance of first month.
So first part of your budget goes in bitcoin and nothing else.
Second goes to established coins like ETH, XRM, XRP, etc

trading new coin indeed always advantageous, since it was first listed on the exchange is usually the bounty hunter always throw their coins. that's when you get a low price, and try to hold a week or more to get a higher price. I always do this on new coins :)

Bitcoin is primary crypto for trading, if talking about altcoins, Ethereum and Litecoin are my primary altcoin option to trade.
Personally I also consider Monero and Dash, and indulge in them. Recently Zcash has attracted my attention, but not sure to get into it.

I respect everyone's opinion here but I would advise OP to do his own research before actually investing in any coin. I have burnt my hands when I followed others opinion without doing any research in my early days. I am not saying that everyone is lying but I want to highlight that if any trading pair is working for someone doesn't mean that it will work for you and me too. The best way is to start trading based on our own research will less capital and more frequency. Make sure that the coin which you are choosing has large market capital.

I don't think there are any particular coin is present which I can say as best for trading. Trading is something which doesn't follow any rules and you need to be open about everything when it comes to trading. At one point of time, you may feel monero is best and at the next, you may feel ETH is best. It's all dynamic and you have to keep track of their prices to be a good trader.

However, if you think about long term, then bitcoin is best and now ETH and byteball also coming up so fast. But for short term or day trading, any coin can steal the show at any point of time.

I think the best coin for trading is eth and nem. Trading eth because the price of eth is on the upward trend and is showing signs of reaching $ 400, if we invest short term, surely we will get a pretty good profit. I havr purchased LDOGE coin in a huge amount at the price of 13 satoshi. Bit now the selling price of LDOGE is 6 satoshi. I am ready toohold the coin for longer time, but am seeing that the price is falling each day. Will it be profitable to hold the coin and will the price be increased?

From my experience, this is what you should do:
1. Build your strategy
2. Calibrate your strategy on historical prices for multiple coins(you will have some variables in your strategy rules which can be fine tuned)
3. Test it OUT OF SAMPLE(extremely important)
4. See which strategy in which coins produced the most ADJUSTED return/risk ratio and order them

There you go, the strategies with the highest return-risk ratio is the "best" for your strategy/model.

If you can't pass the 1 point, then you will need to go back to drawing board and build some rules which defines your strategy.

in fact no one know and predict about the future of any coint, therefore we can only expect about the increasing price of a coin. but still it is too much important to study the different aspect of a certain coin where we want to invest our money. we should study the last trading history of the coin from the beginning we should also study the investment of the people in such coin the volume and so many  other things to study because such things can be helpful to find out a right place for investment.

You can start with alt coin trading but before buying altcoin you should really analyze which coins you choose and you should not immediately spend your money because many of them are not directly successful in altcoin trading. Maybe you can try to start in ETH, Xrp, or LTC

With his advertisement maybe that coin will pump and can attract a lot of traders. But it's main used will be for marijuana businesses, it's illegal in our country so I'll stick to ETH.
