Just in case you wonder about my newbie status: I have another account at BTT that's connected to a different project.
It's a very serious one that consumed a lot of developing time (not mine). This one is serious as well, but might be called a scam by one or another. Thats just fair and a matter of perspective. In any case I dont't want to harm the other project and stay anonymous. Thanks for understanding!

Additional Information about Distribution:

• 25% of the supply of 100000 STC are distributed via an airdrop. You have to pay a little fee of 0.01 ETH to participate to keep out spammers. The first 250 participants get 100 free STC (worth 1ETH/0.01 ETH per STC - ICO price)
• 25% of the supply of 100000 STC are distributed via a direct token sale. The minimum amount to invest is 0.1 ETH. The exchange rate is 100 STC/ETH or 100 STC/0.1 BTC. You can buy as many tokens as you want. The direct sale will be locked as soon as 25000 tokens are sold. If any tokens are left they are given to the lottery participants.
• 50% of the supply of 100000 STC is distributed via a lottery system. For each 0.01 ETH you get 1 lottery ticket. As many tickets as needed will be sold. Beware: A ticket does NOT represent a token. It just represents your % chances to win in the lottery. A simple example: Asher, Julie and Donald participate in the lottery. Asher bought 10 tickets. Julie bought 100. Donald bought 890 (well, he can afford it). You mean the gas recommended for the transaction during the ICO? If yes: It depends on you and how fast you want your investment been sent. If you want to participate in the Airdrop a higher amount is recommended to be fast. Otherwise, especially for the lottery, it's not necessary to be fast.

Yes, of yourse! I hope it gets a good marketcap so we will maybe be listed on major exchanges later on. And if the ICO raises some money I will use some of it to get listed ASAP on smaller exchanges! A straightcoin with no purpose but its own value needs trading to prove it's value, correct? ;-)

The amount of 0.01 (equivalent to 2.24$ current value) is for transaction fees and to keep out spammers. You could get 100 coins for it, the price via direct sale is 0.01 for 1 coin, so it's a 100x multiplier. And in case you send it to late (low gas fee or whatever) you get a lottery ticket (at the normal rate of 0.01 they cost). Fair deal? Straight, eh? :-)

I think people generally invest for the probability of the project success even though it's extremely low especially on ICO.
But in case of useless token, i dunno why but people keep trading and holding for no probability.

So this straightcoin is a next social experiment. Interesting.

Actually most ICOs of the past, no matter if there is a working product behind it, just a promise or nothing at all, turned out pretty profitable if you join in early.

Yep its not an airdrop you just bought it at a very cheap price. any road map, future plans? dev said its gonna be a whole new code let me do the math 0.01 x 250 = 2.5 ETH or 0.21750005 BTC

I hope you can remove the 0.01 ETH fee if you really want to airdrop your coin. Asking for a fee on an airdrop will raise a lot of questions and people will doubt if the project is legit.

This is not airdrop I think, more precisely this is in the name of investment bonuses, airdrop it in can be completely free. ;D

The airdrop is nit the only way to distribute STC. The fee is less then 2$ to prevent spamming.

After the ICO we hope that enough tokens are sold and distributed fair and we get listed on smaller exchanges. Lots of other tokens based on ETH chain have no "real value as well. They just promise the will do some great stuff someday. Some will and develop great projects, most will fail. Therefore I don't promise anything. The value of a token or currency is the hope and belief people put in it and that leads to a demand.

Thats not a good reason, you cant give a better requirement for the airdrop to avoid spammers instead of asking for sending few bucks to your eth wallet. It is a fishy thing for an airdrop, of course it is not recommended for everyone to join the airdrop imho. 

I admire your honesty, but the honesty will keep the investor away for you project  ;D

I love the way use the word still in your announcement thread. Fact is that no one liked it the first time it was round nobody like your first announcement and no one's going to jump on this now.

There is no premining at all, but also no possibility to mine yourself. The total supply is fixed to only 100000 tokens.

As we want a fair distribution to many participants we diceded to extend the time you can join Straightcoin till all airdrop tickets are given away. Aroud 190 are still eft. For as long as the airdrop will last lottery tickets can purchased as well. Although we have sold 400 already, theres mainly one larger investor so we hopt to get more on board so it stays fair.

The 25000 STC that originally were distributed via the direct sale for 0.01 ETH for each token are distributed via the airdrop for the extended distribution period. Every participant of the airdrop who has sent 0.01 ETH as a fee will get 200 STC instead of 100!
The lottery sale will go on as well. As soon all airdrop seats are used, the lottery will end as well and your tokens will be sent.

Funds are sitting on that address not moved yet much hard to say anything about this situation. Lack of communication from OP creating so many doubt I hope they will make fair distribution as they promised.

You will only get your coins after all 250 seats are filled. It says it right there on the website. Thst could never happen though. There have been 185 seats open for a long time. Almost a week and Dev is silent. Not good.

You are not everybody. Some like it, some don't - to say it straight! It's totally fine if you don't, but almost 100 participants sent the minimal fee to join the airdrop and a bunch of lottery tickets are sold as well. If it takes some time it is ok. I don't want a quick buck but a fair distribution, so I hope some more will join soon.

We need a bigger audience to get to the 250 accounts otherwise it will not go live.

Well, the thing is, the Dev basically promoted this coin as something with no promises. In that regard, he was honest and up front.

Still, it looks like this thing is DOA.
