On the DHL site it looks like the mistake was obvious and the package never left China. It just got to DHL base and was returned to sender the next day. This is enough proof to make them send it again and/or demand compensation. You're losing mining time because of their sloppiness. If they make another mistake with the address just make a screenshot again and start posting it everywhere on the forums, social media and so on.

From what I can see in the OP, this guys post seems correct. You should be able to ensure they resend your order. It'd be pretty disgusting if they don't do their bit to sort this for you. Bitmain are huge, I can't imagine they'll hide from your attempts to contact them for too long.

Your best friend here is getting the word out there EVERYWHERE. Forums, social media, calling in news stations, maybe even getting lawyers involved. $10K is a fair bit of money and hopefully it gets resolved mate. I'd keep contacting them constantly though (which I'm sure you've been and are continuing to do so). Post on their social media pages too

It's clear it has been returned to the shipper. The tracking link from DHL is enough as proof. So bad they seem to have very poor customers support but a very good "i take your money" service. As the poster above says, try with twitter, sometimes with companies, you have a better support on twitter. With the big one, there are guys sitting on chair 8 hours per day and checking twitter and facebook

on facebook you can't reach them or post on wall, on twitter i tried

I keep hearing more and more stories about this regarding Bitmain. It sucks because they can operate and make profit as a legitimate entity but choose to scam to get in that extra greedy.

When they first came to market people seemed to love doing business with them. I guess compared to BFL, they were a breath of fresh air. They actually shipped stuff!
But the community mave have created a monster. With their statements and actions about their controlling so much has power and with the forking crap, they seem to be getting more and more arrogant, coupled with the business practices being reported especially as of late.... the handwriting is on the wall. They have only one place to go......
Time for another player .....

I am not a fan of that site because of all the dumb coins that is being listed in that site only to pump and dump and just get the money out of new traders,so it is not a very big surprise, but i am not sure how they will scam you other than that.If it is true you can start a scam accusation against them.

@OP sorry to hear about your pathetic situation and the mining time you are loosing because of their ineffectiveness to take care of orders.

It seems all this big names in the cryto industry have planned to always take customers complains for granted immediately they notice some anomaly they see that as a means to absolve themselves from responsibility and because the amount involved is small compared to what they handle. No matter what happen, his on earth will someone keep client waiting for 10/days without a response? Twitter is where I would go to next.

They better do reply to OP or they will start to lose a lot of customers thanks to their behavior. It is a known thing that they delay the shipments of antminers to the users but this is the first time I see an order never shipped from their side. Maybe big part of their staff is in vacation but since they are located in China I doubt that. There they only have 2 holidays, February Chinese New Year and October some sort of independence holiday.

This is a big opportunity for their rivals to just come up and show that they are not like Bitmain.

A company with such reputation shouldn't really be acting like that, This is very shameful on their part, they are so incompetent in their business dealings and am sure this will not happen if they had serious competition to their business, When monopoly exists in a business, it only results in incompetence. I have read about delayed shipping from a lot of customers and its very disheartening.

Is there another way to pay than Bitcoin?
This is the problem with paying in Bitcoin these days.
You never know if you are gonna get scammed.
I never thought I would say it, but we might need PayPal for Bitcoins (escrow).

shit this scares me I'm about to pay for an order with them tmrw.

But yea we should make something "like" paypal, not paypal they are biased towards the buyer most of the time same as ebay.... Which if you know how the system works you can abuse it easily. I've had people say some ridiculous things to try and get their money back and a few times it worked in their favor.

sorry man, but they returned those miners themselves are not even logical, i am thinking of if your mailing address is correct well; if they could not go to the correct address they return those parcels to the senders, ie bitmain itself IIRC.

even bitmain has asked you give numbers to try resolving it

Ok it looks like the ball is on the side of Bitmain now. Let's see how they respond and resolve the issue. I understand the OP's frustration here and $10000 is huge amount of money. And I'm sure that OP has earned the right to demand and get answers from you guys. This kind of messed doesn't look good at your Bitmain's image as you are the able to provide the most power effective Bitcoin mining solution on today’s market.

Let's see how this things turn out. Again your reputation is on the line here, the OP has already posted enough and the forum is now waiting for your quick reply on this.

How will posting on different forums even help his money will be gone and for bitman they may lose 200 non potential customers which they don't care for. This can be a mistake i would suggest you not to lose hope they might have many issues with this pre order , i understand you are losing the crucial mining time but it's better than not losing those 10000$

Hi,

Our customer support team works Monday- Friday (Beijing time) and so there was a delay in their response to your messages, all of which were sent on Saturday and Sunday.

Our customer support team had already responded to your messages as soon as they were back in office i.e. yesterday or Monday.

As explained in their response, DHL can not deliver to the address you had submitted or the address you asked to change the delivery to.

Our customer support team is waiting for your response with an alternative address that DHL can deliver to.

Please let them know if you have any additional queries.

Regards,

Bitmain

The waiting game is on. I really don't know if the user: BITMAIN, will be able to resolve this impasse already generated by the company, Bitmain. If finally this is resolved, OP should make them pay for breach of contract and making him lose valuable time and money. These big companies of late now act as if they can't be cut to size.

Let's watch and see how it goes. OP, if this isn't resolved I will suggest you alert all the Facebook pages on Bitcoin of this scam. Take the fight even outside bitcointalk. Enough of this bad customer care services from these companies.

from my perspective it sounds like to me you provided them with an invalid address OR DHL screwed up and tried to deliver to a wrong address OR Bitmain misprinted the label and sent to the wrong address.

Does not look like they are scamming you, until the day they tell you they won't ship you anything then yea they would have scammed you but it seems they are responding so that's a good thing.

Either way, Bitmain wrote to you and said this, As explained in their response, DHL can not deliver to the address you had submitted or the address you asked to change the delivery to.

Our customer support team is waiting for your response with an alternative address that DHL can deliver to.

Have you done this? Have you provided them with the correct address?

Seems like they have some issues with support, but they are a pretty large company- so read their terms of service carefully.

It also seems that you should probably recheck your address and resubmit.

Bitmain isn't scam company, for them that 10K usd doesn't make sense. All the problem comes from their support, they throw same phrases with no informative meaning. Sad fact is that usually problems aren't solved until scam accusation thread isn't opened here. Seems these days they even hang on that. I think problem will be solved, just more patience (yes, it's very hard).
Btw what about to use aliexpress for this? It would be better for safety.

it should never been sent back to bitmain after it left there warehose . Dhl should not reversed it. Unless the address was unconfirmed because of a lame delivery driver to lazy to read . This sounds like u should be compensated . Since they recieved there items then u should get them to send u another one or some type of reimbursement for this . What does the account say in bitmain ??? Thats why I always confirm my address double and triple check on everything on ebay all my accounts and you get those where they ship and billing address I always have my bank have my billing address updated always. This looks like you need to be sure u have your address confirmed with a billing bank like visa . This removes this risk of loosing 10k damn good one . They must be laughin in china now about how they get all these free btc in these forums scamming ppl . Send btc to this address lol  to them in china .

Hi bitcoinfuck,

All our customers receive the tracking number automatically soon after the order is shipped. You were unable to receive it because it was sent to you automatically for the order that was returned and couldn't be automatically sent again by our system for the same order.

Our customer support has now informed you the DHL tracking number for your package, which was shipped on 14 August 2017.

Please let our customer support team know if you have any further queries.

Bitmain makes great products but the are not honest or ethical company.
they do many dirty tricks.

they once cancel my order after i send them the money via wire transfer
I'll never buy from them again, now i pay more and buy from resellers rater than from those crooks

Damn I wish they'd make my order right.  Any suggestions for how to get this sorted out?

Six weeks it's been sitting on 'unpaid' and 'expired', even though I did pay them on time and their support staff, in a message, has confirmed that.

At this rate it would faster for me to fly over there and file my complaint in person.  Starting to give it serious consideration.

Good luck with your situation.  Next time, I'm buying from Canaan.  This is ridiculous.

i think you won't be confirm at all, going there won't solve anything.  your best bet is to call them and tell them to solve you ticket asap.

and if they don't do it, you leave bitmain a negative trust here, and flood on there forum regarding this

Still waiting for answer from BITMAIN, But without any result.
Bitmain removes S9 from shop. Does this mean that they are not going to produce S9 anymore?

Definitely.
Today I receive mail from Bitman that they are trying and problem will be resolved in 2 weeks.
I don't understand what they are trying to. They have valid order and they have S9, it only needs to send to certain address.

this story was actually very close to my episode with them years ago, they have not improved since then? I did leave them neg rep if anyone bothered to click (as many people don't care about .org trust system)

I will never go direct with them again, I actually buy from users here lol

some people have been compensated or bribed to remove neg rep, I have had no such compliment.
