there is no harm in buying bitcoin, from now because it's still a good time to buy bitcoin, because in the next few months bitcoin will rise high in price

If you really want to buy bitcoins then buy it now and do not wait for the next week as may be you will see higher price by that time and at that point you will regret for not buying at a right time so without wasting any time and thinking much buy bitcoins and keep it safe in your wallet till the end of the year and that would be the best time for you to sell your coins.

Dont wait next week, just buy it now if you have capital to invest unto it. Because bitcoin will really gonna be 10, 000$ this year. Were many of the communit of bitcoin are holding and waiting for that moment ton be happen including myself too.

No one can judge the accurate price of bitcoins as its not in control of anyone but you can come to decision looking at the upward trend in the price of bitcoins and most of the people are hoping that price will reach to $10k price at the end of the year and if it really happens then you will be getting best returns on your investments even if you buy now.

Buy now! Probably in the next few weeks prices will totally go up some more. This isn't the end of this price increase, it is only the start. Prices became stagnant because of the problems with the network regarding unconfirmed transactions. Wait till segwit is fully activated and you'll see that the network speeds up and prices sky rockets by then. So I really recommend to buy and buy and hodl!

Why you want to wait for next few weeks? I don't think we will see any significant dump on bitcoin's price anytime soon, just buy bitcoin when it is still under $4500 which you can consider as very low price compared to what many crypto experts have predicted for bitcoin price by end of this year. Price might get easily over $5k by december this year so you will make some profit without any doubt if you just buy bitcoin right now.

I think you should buy now if you do not want to see Bitcoin prices continue to rise while you are not buying any BTC. I think there is no limit to the price of BTC as the countries are gradually adopting it, the transaction time is improved, more and more people are aware of BTC, many people search and buy it more. Especially his last remark, there will always be a new opportunity! It can go both ways, up or down, if you are not in it for the really long term. If you have the time do some research first. If you don't master technical analysis like most of us including myself, I'd say look for some technical analysis videos or articles out there of people who do (or claim they do :) ). Go for your buys close to the lows, i.e. close to the most likely support area. We could read predictions about bitcoin price in the future and they all said that price is going to rise more and more. So logically it still is a good time to buy it. We could also see how bitcoin price is rising and we can assume that predictions are true. That means that people would need bigger amount of cash to spend on buying bitcoin in the future.

I think after reading all the replies in thread OP would be in a good position to make decision to buy bitcoins or not and who knows he would have already bought some coins by now and if he is waiting for the price drop to buy at lower price then I doubt that it will happen in coming days as most probably there are full chances that we will cross $4500 within one or two days.

I'd wait till November fork and buy a possible HUUUUGE dip.

If current price is affordable for you then you can buy it now or else wait for the price to go down in coming time but I don't think that it will fall now as price is increasing and we may cross $4500 in some more days and if it does then you will miss an opportunity of buying at lower price which is at a moment.

I think there the november panic could happen, but that it don't assure that the value of the bitcoin will go down, and if this happens no one will sell his bitcoin with a low price.

I think you can buy bitcoin but its up to you. The final decision is yours . ButI suggest invest only you can afford to lose because even the price of bitcoin as of now continue to increase they have possible the price decrease. So if you invest always be ready if price decrease . You can buy bitcoin anytime, from now tomorrow and so on there's no problem, because bitcoin will always rise from time to time, do not delay putting bitcoin on investment as long as you have money, and you can trade bitcoin in altcoin, bittrex or poloniex for example , this is just my suggestion.

It is up to you if you will buy now or not but if you will, I suggest you dont buy using all of what you will use to buy. That way in case if it dips, you can rebuy again for a cheaper price. If it dips again, you can buy again so dont spend it all in just 3 to 4 times of buying. Buy on many entry points so that you can get more profit if in case a dip occur before a pump. When a pump suddenly follows after your first buy, then dont buy, hold.

Do not put all eggs in one basket, if you have much money, consider to divide your funds into several entry point, such as 35% to buy bitcoin at current price and another 35% if bitcoin price get corrected. When this becomes successful we'll be getting an assured price increase from the current price. The same happened when the earlier segwit took place leading to a increase in price.

Low price? Current levels are just $70 away from the all time high we touched yesterday, so what's exactly low about current price? From current levels to the $5000 level is just a 10% upwards movement, so nothing special about it. If everything moves up like how it has been in the last weeks, then we could break through the $5000 level before the end of this week. Either aim for a higher target, or don't invest at all.

This reminds me on comment's two years ago, and some threads with same sentence: "Buy now or regret later!" Who didn't buy back then now regrets, same will happen in couple years when we look back on 2017.
If someone buy a lot of bitcoins dumping little amounts when price is very high and with same money to buy again in dips can be easily be done, I think risking 10% of investment to make more profit is minimal. Many people are doing that, and good ones pick the profit almost always.

I don't think it would be a good idea to buy bitcoin now as the price has gone really high and affording 1 bitcoin itself is really hard it has become a lot harder than gold also it has become really famous. Purchasing bitcoin now is a really big risk as you might even get a loss if i was you i wouldn't risk buying bitcoin

People were looking at the $1000 mark as being far too 'expensive', and thus didn't buy. The same happened with the $3000-$4000 marks ~ just look at where the price is today and think again.

I suggest you wait till the price goes lower because right now it is quite risky investing in bitcoin while the price is this high it almost reach $5000. If you want to earn good from here better wait till the price drop again maybe before the year end it will have a bad drop then pump again

You shouldn't wait for lower price. People like me waiting for the $1000 when it was @ $1500 dollar mark ended up crying because it goes higher and higher. If you are dealing with large amount of money buy now, the demand is going high so as with the popularity.  Don't end up regretting.  ;)

I think to buy bitcoin at this time is a less precise time, should be the right time to buy it at the time of bitcoin price at $4000 i guess.
