This post is not intended to criticize gamblers, i am just curious what drives a gambler to really gamble even when the odds are against him or even reach the point where he'd rather lose everything he has than to stop doing his gambling addiction. I said the following because i have seen friends and some relatives on my mother's side literally lose everything they have like family, wealth etc. and only a few managed to stand up again. And some of that few still gamble to this day. And an uncle was found dead from a gunshot wound, whoever did it was unknown. But rumors say that it is one of all the guys he owed large money and never payed. While a friend(not close, just a neighbor) died from suicide because his wife left him along with his 14y.o daughter and 3y.o son. Now, I ask this because i dont get it. I just don't. I mean is it even worth it? If you ask me, i don't know. That is why i am asking. And the reason why i did it here is because we all know i can't ask a gambler with this kind of questions face to face because doing that would mean mean that I wanna start a fight. I mean that might how a gambler reacts to this kind of question. Please share your thoughts on this.

I do gamble every now and then myself, but I am for sure not addicted.

Although I know my limits, it's really hard to stop when you're down. You can't stand the fact that you lose money, and you want to play more to get the money back.

I think it has a lot to do with the uncertainty of the outcome of the gamble. There always is a chance you win it back, so you're chasing your loss.

First of all, you are on the right place on asking this kind of question since there are lots of people here tends to be a gambler or even experienced those things. Its sad to hear that those dying incidents and suicidal things do happen to them because they cant really sustain the stress and one have been gunshot because of big debt.Gambling is not bad as long you do know how to control yourself and you do know your limitations regarding on the funds you are holding.Just stick to one rule, only play on the amount you can afford to lose and never ever goes beyond that.

I gamble because I want to play, I like the risk and I like very much the change of increasing my profit. Yes, there would be bad days, there would be times that I would waste my money and I would lose more than I profit but those are lessons that I would just have to apply and very much make it an encouragement on my part. As in gambling its a game of chance. Sometimes you win, sometimes you dont., but the impoirtant thing is you have fun.

Well, that is mostly what i see on all the posts i see here, that people find it hard to stop when they lose money so they keep on gambling to get their losses back and more. But after a gambler tries a lot of times and fails, why does he still chase after it even when has has lost too much already?

Yes, I understand, a lot has also said that they love gambling because of the thrill, but is the thrill even worth all the things you might lose? Even when you know the facts? I really don't understand.. i would like to get deeper into this so i can help a friend who wants to stop gambling that always says that this will be my last gamble but then still does it minutes later or hours. i want to help him while he still hasn't lost too much.

I gamble for fun but sometimes fun can be very addicting and that leads to some pretty nasty things. I admit I got addicted to gambling a few few months back because I was drawn to the amount I could get if I got the jackpot price and later realize it was not a healthy thing to be addicted to. I stopped gambling just recently and I do sometimes gamble but I can now control myself from it, unlike before I can not control it.

The same reason why some people decide to play soccer, while some decide to go to college, others decide to go to medical school while some others decide to go the route of gambling all for one quest, to make money and that is the primary motive of everybody and if someone can get it simply by taking some amount of calculated risks and limited time, then there is no need for castigation so far he is meeting his needs through such endeavour and not stealing or duping others of their resources.

I gamble quite rare and only when there's some big games I gamble. I am also not addictive and can control my self.

Why do people gamble, because they want to earn a lot of money in an easy way, so they do an instant way, but the result doesn't match the desires and sometimes they continue to impose play although the results are very bad.

Gambling is business and it's always be like this in everywhere and anytime and any type of currency as long it can be trade even sometimes people gamble with a piece of gem.

You just have to watch out and be honest with yourself, if you notice that you're spending too much or play too much, it's best to try and quit. Gambling may not be for you then.

Yes people like easy and instant money, so they will choose this gambling. But this gambling also impress people to make them win in beginning days after that when people taste easy money. The gambling will start to show its real future. I used to gamble so much few months back and have lost hundred of dollar before when just trying to be rich in very short time. Obviously I used to gamble because of my greed before but these I only gamble which I can afford to loss for fun. I don't focus on how much profit I am getting, I just want to get maximum fun out of it.

I don't think it can happen for everyone as a gambler , because personally i myself is a gambler and making gambling much but still never doing gambling with that amount of money that I can't effort loss or i Don't have or I can't face .
So it depends upon you that how you want get your life with gambling and also after gambling because this is totally a matter of game and enjoy with the money only Gambling is not made for the earning. Purpose , It is only made for fun purpose ,so if you have control yourself then it is better for you to make gambling without worrying .
But if you will go for the gambling for professional earnings then surely you will loss all of your money .
Here i myself when started gambling then i lost all because i was making gambling for money but when i realised that i lost much and i have not setted any limit for the daily gambling then after that day i realised that we should remain in limit because ir we will cross the limit then we will cross our life enjoyment and will go toward money and tension of loss of money only .

Those people in your post are addicted gamblers with serious gambling problem.
You can't really say whoever gamble is addicted gambler. There is huge difference between people who are gambling with money they can afford to lose and people who are gambling until they lose all money, family and in worst scenario life.

You just have to know your limits.

Example:

Responsible gambler - you need new t-shirt which is 50$ but you have 40$ - so, you are 10$ short. Obviously you can't afford any money to lose and you won't gamble. If you have 60$ you can afford to gamble with 10$ and that's it.

Addicted gambler will take that 40$ and try to make 50$, if he lose them he will borrow(1) another 40$ or more and try to recover first lost. Or he will win 50$ and say "what the hell lets make more", probably lose all and return to step (1)

I don't know i think it's fun and also the money that's keep me in gambling.

You will know if you tried to gamble even in a demo account just try it and you will know exactly what is the feeling of being like a millionaire in one day. You will likely not going to stop it if you win too much, even if you stop for just one day, the next other day will be the same. Something will going to drive you like a crazy to go back again to play gamble. Try it if you are really curious about it. ;D

I gamble just for fun when I'm too bored with my activity and sometimes I find the profit too, thru sports betting I bet to the match that I can win.

Gambling is worthless, if you can't afford to lose your money and you can't enjoy it even you lose. Otherwise gambling is worth if you have fun and can afford to lose.

You can try gambling, but you need to control yourself, if you think cannot control yourself, just don't play, better to stay away if you don't want to be those people.

i was having some fun at first but things turned into a habits that's really hard to avoid but for me i play just to have or take some chances while
enjoying the game just minimizing my bankroll now to avoid certain loses.

I did chase my losses once when I won big. I got greedy and decided to up my bet size, started losing more and wanting a little revenge against the house. Imo it's the emotions that kept me going to chase my losses, the anger/rage. Now that i'm used to it I don't take my losses that heavily compared to before.

There are times when gambling is worth it when there are contests and +ev promotions around the corner waiting to be claimed. You can't help your friend unless you know him irl like telling his addictions to his family so they could help.

Everyone has great points and suggestions and i really am starting to see it clearer now, although i can say i have tried gambling locally and online when some of my friends gamble and they want me to gamble too like a dare or challenge. But after that I don't gamble. But even if they dare me, if I don't have an extra money or I'm not on the mood, i still don't gamble. So trying to do gambling to know how it feels is out of the equations now. Because after gambling a lot with my friends I still can't find reasons as to why people reach to such an extent that they don't care whatever the consequences may be. Gambling for me isn't more than a fun activity , a habit that takes a part of my daily life and consumes my spare time , but i nevet left it consume my life !
Gambling for me was never meant to make people richer , it's just for small profits . At top , i'll spend gambling money on a trip or hotel room.
But making it the major activity in my life ? Never .

Almost all of the gamblers gamble just because they want to earn an easy profit on it. Like me reason in gambling is to earn and other say its for fun and which is considered a luck or winning because winning gives fun. The whole idea is gambling is addictable games when we won and that is the main reason of playing gambling.

"Fun" and "Money" would be the main thing why do people or gambler do really like to play it. This is the fastest on making money in an instant and we do all know that and for those people who dont really like to hassle theirselves on making money then they would surely fall into this field on where they do believe that gambling would really give on the thing that they do seek but in the end they are really risking their lives if they do let addiction will eat em up.

As a gambler I'm interested to reply your thread, in fact it is very apprehensive if something bad happens in the gambler's life. The passions that make the gambler so frustrated, the uncontrollable emotion crumbling apart. I gambled just for fun, but when I lost my emotions messed up until it and lost all the money in my wallet. ;)

Yes but to point out really what gamblers want in playing gambling is the Money and the secondary is the fun that it may bring. Well gambling is not fun if you have no money at all. Addiction is the long term result of too much playing and it may worsen with time .

It would really becomes worst if you dont know how to control or avoid it. It is really on one self on how would you treat gambling, if you dont have discipline on playing it then for sure it will really mold you later to be addicted to it until the time comes that you will do unusual things that will really make your life mess up.

I feel sad as you said about your uncle's suicide, it is really worried thing. But every sad story have a big mistake. When we forget our family and do whatever we want to do then the end is very bad. Not only in gambling, we should see ourself in all point of views. But in gambling we get lesson deeply and this lesson always sad us. I also see many sadness stories about only addicted gamblers not a player of gamblers.   

I always play casual i don't want to get addicted too much in gambling since i see my self become poor in there and lose everything i just play gambling when i feel bored and feel that i can win or doubled my money and after that i don't play for a week nor month because i don't want to lose that profit i already made.

that's a very sad story you should also know everyone also has different thoughts. I am not a gambling addict who will still gamble despite losing everything and giving up losing just like that. I gamble for profit and if I lose I always manage my money to gamble so as can as possible not loss.

I think most gamblers gamble because winning even in the sense that you've already lose gives you a sense of contentment and pride. Taking something back that you've lost or even winning something gives you a different kind of feeling. Some even gamble to have fun and relieve stress. There are thousands of reasons why people gamble.

Yeah too much playing can lead to addiction and you can't have fun of your motives will always profit, so you have to consider all things not to over react with such emotional thoughts here. That's true an addicted gambler could not feel fun at all if he's out of money and how worst is you touch your wealth just to play fun games from gambling. I hope people realize that you can gamble provided you mostly play it for fun and enjoyment and not just with a objective that you will play and win at the end of the day. If this is the case then yes there are full chances that this person will get addicted to it and chances of losing the amount will be more than earning it. first of all the fun part , you can't imagine the joy I have when I'm playing poker or watching a sports match that I have placed bets on
I also play some -EV games that I enjoy , but of course I gamble less in these games
the second part is money , since I play some +EV games I was able to make some money from them and I'm not talking about tens of thousands but still good to have good time and win some money

First time gambling is due to friends influence or out of curiosity.  Then the next would be of different reason, wanted to win a stake and earn money or just wanted to entertain.  Gambling is not bad as long as it is moderated but, the same with other stuff, too much of it will give us negative effect.  Same thing as being hooked and at the end addiction.  I myself gambling because of entertainment and profit but I make sure I am on top of it meaning I can control myself.

Not really, but yes I was kind of indirectly influenced by many people and also from movies. Mainly the fun side of it attracted me to learn more about it.
Sports gambling was legal online betting platform, which even made me think about it more. But I don't gamble always, its just for fun. Not addicted to it really, but it comes in my mind sometimes quite often, but I can control the desire.

Well the reason why i gamble is because i am enjoying playing poker,  it is the only way for me to enjoy my free time after work in short it is my leisure.

But I think you forgot that gambling can take some simple form like gambling for fun or just points. I gamble with bitcoin and I don't count it as something serious, for me it's just a way to spend my free time and chill.

I gamble but i live a life of moderation, so i play only just to relief stress and boredome. But the truth is we should really  avoid gluttony and other vices which may forget our work, friends, family and studies.

If one addicted then better avoid gambling completely and shouldn't try even for fun purposes because it may again slowly lead them to addict to these games. i'm into gambling because i use it as my pass time since i'm just a stay at home mother. when my kids was at school already me and my friends play majong or tong its.

I only gamble just to make fun and if i profit from gambling i will considered it as additional bonus to my playing. Whenever i have free time i only gamble a couple of my money that i afford to lose. Gambling makes me happy too whenever i feel sad but i'm doing gambling with moderation because if i'm too addicted to it i might lose all my money.

I also ask this on myself. Why do I gamble? I use to be addicted to gambling but now I can control myself, I do gamble once or twice a month. It took me years before I answered it. First, I started gambling in a young age and my sole purpose of this is only to earn money nothing more and nothing less. My younger years was blur, I'm rebellious and I think only for myself. Yup every gambler main intention is to win big money and settle in their life without doing any work. I gamble cause it brings me excitement, and I like it. I like almost all gambling games, with more money I would gamble more then I gamble now, but I know my limits, or better to say my financial situation. Gambling should be fun in the end, and I try to look at gambling like that. I lost money many times, but that is money that I would spend in any case, so I don`t worry, but many times I won a lot in gambling and I gamble cause i wish to feel the same again, and more trying and playing means more chances.

I gamble for fun and entertainment. I try not to let it get out of hand by setting rules for myself. I set an amount of money that I can gamble with each week and I stick to it. If I reach my limit by Wednesday, I can't gamble any more for the rest of the week. This seems to work for me and I treat it just like a form of entertainment that you would spend money on like video games, golf, concerts, etc.

So reading a lot on your comments, I realized teo things; a gambler gambles because they love the thrill(the unknown or uncertainty it brings but mostly the good side of the thrill. Meaning you love the thrill but the winning part) then the greed, which drives you to chase for your loses and when you get even or win a little, you gamble more for the hope of getting more out of it. I know gambling can give bad impact on my life and I will never do such a crazy thing like that. I mean as you said on above even now i still gamble, the reason i do that it's just for earn a little profit. how if im lose, of course i will stop and not try to push myself to keep gambling because i don't want do something bad.

I don't know why I even gamble sometimes when I get drunk my urges for gambling is too strong. Every time I hit rock bottom and build myself up again I knock my self down. Before I hit rock bottom completely I am doing everything in my power to change I could possibly have lost everything I'm just lucky everyone knows now and I can be supported by someone. Sobering up from alcohol was easier than getting clean from gambling, I don't get that either.

Where you read or saw gambling promising a profit for players? But it will always give a good profit to site owners for sure.

It will only give you fun if you play this game without expecting any profit from it because if you're expecting a profit and if you lose your money then you will not get any fun instead you will be worrying about your losses.

Usually playing fun with small amount so i will not regret if i am lose
And will use bigger amount if to get some profits

Thats the good thing of playing for fun because if we keep doing this, we wont really lose alot of money just like everyone else. Sometimes when we gamble with a small amount we might be lucky to double it which means we can use it the next day to gamble so it is a good thing for us even if we dont play for profit

I am not a regular into the gambling but whenever  I have enough free time, I prefer sports betting just for fun and enjoyment. I do sports betting most of times and just for recreational purpose.

Let's face it. Even if we all say we are gambling for fun in the back of our heads we are thinking that we want to win. Regardless of our motivation to gamble,

All true :).  there is no harm in thinking and wish that we want the roll even though we are just playing for fun.  Aside from that  it is more fun if our wish of winning the round came true.  We won't get frustrated if we only gamble with the amount we can afford to lose thus the fun will never leave the scene.  Besides we can have fun over frustration and laugh at our reactions if we do not take gambling seriously by not aiming to  just win.

I play for pleasure. I have no dependence and purpose to make profit from each game, I just like the process of the game and I can stop without any problems at any moment in order not to lose all the money.

I gamble because it's my choice before since I'm bored at home, looking for something to have fun while having a chance to win. As I do have background in gambling, it's very easy for me to adopt online gambling and with bitcoin everything went smooth as I don't have to register any information with casino's. Same with you, I choose the gambling as my entertainment because it is my relaxation and my past time. I did not use the gambling in finding an income because I know that if this happen I'm become addicted in gambling. i am playing gambling is because i want to spend my free time in table round with my friends and since i am not too often to gambling, maybe in a month i only played not more than 5 time. i am agree with people that considering playing gambling as their way to get fun thing in their daily life. maybe we are boring in our activity and want to release the stress but if i can suggested, its better to do another activity than just playing gambling because we can loss our money.

Gambling is really good in entertainment though there are ton of peoples that the gambling is source of their income , though the professional one can earn it but not always, it could lead to addiction and it could ruin your life. It is a very good choice, because by assuming gambling as a pleasure then it will avoid us from the nature of dependence. So gambling will only become a game for a moment and will not make us interested to always play it. It can make us from losing the money we have because if you think gambling as a serious thing then we will lose much money and our life.

I gamble for entertainment or for fun because i know from myself that i could not win a lot of money in gambling. The only people who get rich in gambling is the dealer and the owner of a casino because all of our losses will go to them. That's why i only play when i have a extra money and when im bored.

I have an uncle who I can say has an addiction to gambling. He would lose so much money in it and blame everyone around him when that happens. Those people who can stop to gamble after they loose very big money and even a car or home, they are just sick, it is addiction and it's totally special kind of gambrlers. I'm not one of them. I'm gambling because I like the process of the game and I hope someday to win the pot. Of course, I am independent of this pleasure and can control myself.

For me i'm gambling because i want to put my luck in this game's just like in winning in lottery.in my own opinion gambling is not a sin  or uncurrable illnes it is only a matter of recreation to refresh yourself in a moment for all anxieties in office works.so for me gambling is a sport that can active your  mind and body and at the same time you can earn if its your lucky day.

I like to gamble for fun if I have spare money I try not to gamble solely for profit but if I do win all the better. As long as you set yourself limits it is not bad. When you start to gamble money you don't have that's where problems start.

I think I have already addressed my concerns on the previous thread. But just to reiterate, people come from different walks of life. There are those who gamble because they have nothing else worthwhile to do, because they have too much money that they do not know what to do with it, because they have been influenced by friends, because they want to impress their peers, because they want to multiply their money in the littlest amount of time to help sustain their families, because their gut feel tells them so, or just that they are so in love with the idea of gambling. Whatever their reasons are, know that there are reasons that will definitely blow your mind. They are definitely uniquely packaged thereby realizing how much people can sometimes bet on their lives.

Same here, many of us gamble for the profit and it leaves me wondering why some people gamble for the so called fun because  atg the end of the day you are loosing money for money and nits a fair deal rather than loose money for  some fun.

There are people who gamble just for fun, people are usually rich people who have a lot of money. There are people who gamble for money and profit, people like that are people who dream of wanting to be rich in a short time. If I can gamble, I'll use it to make a lot of money and profit a lot. But I will not gamble forever, I will make business capital to look for other businesses and not rely on gambling. Gambling is something that is uncertain and illegal in many countries, including my country. So I guess it's better to find another job or business that can make my parents and family happy.

I know that, even I would sometimes fool myself, I just say I gamble for fun but in reality I want to be profitable.
My problem is that I am weak in implementing my game plan, I cannot wait to win in the long run as I am just like a typical gamblers who always want instant profit, now it makes me realize that I don't have a chance to become a professional gambler because I don't have the patience.

Nothing wrong in checking whether your lucky or not but for that, you shouldn't overspend your money or check your luck every day because that may lead to addict to these games then you may start losing more money on these games. I mainly gamble for fun and check my luck once in awhile not every day.

Ome thing I know people gamble not only for money but also for seeking entertainment. If some people become more problematic in terms of money because of gambling then they still playing gambling no matter what, well that is already addiction that are hard to stop.

Upon reading your post, I could say those people you know had develop an addiction in gambling. You know addiction is already consider as mental illness, people with this problem are having hard time to stop because they experiencing hard times or irritability everytime they are not gambling so that what drives them to make way to suffice their gambling addiction. I am also a gambler but not addicted to it I have limitation of when to stop.

Life is like a gamble. We need to risk something and bet what we have to be able to have the chance of achieving something. I'm not really into gambling but I don't see anything wrong if I or other people will try it because it can be my luck day. I just play small bets for fun and I don't go to casinos.

For easy money obviously and I don't know why gambling is really addicting to me even this gambling already cost me much money on it, I keeps coming back into it. I used to gamble because l need extra money for everyday  ,expecting to win the game for the needs of my kids. I don't have income so that l need to look for an easy money. I gamble for fun and entertainment. I try not to let it get out of hand by setting rules for myself. I set an amount of money that I can gamble with each week and I stick to it. Indeed, that is why I never consider gambling as one of the way to earn profit anymore. In the past few months I used to play gambling just not for fun but also to gain profit either. Unfortunately, instead to earn I lose a lot of money, though I win once before but it wasn't enough to win back all of my loss. And only thing comes on my mind and it is to stay away from gambling.

I strongly agree that gambling games are only used for entertainment only because gambling games are very risky and if we rely on gambling games to earn revenue then it is the wrong action. We have our own different opinion about gambling, and most of the people are not thinking that games in gambling is just for entertainment, for them it is a living, they take it seriously and that is why there are so many people on this forum are asking on how they can cure their illness which is being addicted to gambling. It is indeed entertaining especially if you are just using the free satoshis that they have and not your money, because at least if you are just using their free satoshis, then you  are not going to worry about losing your money, what you are thinking all of the time is that if you are going to win or not, but either way you have fun. Actually I gamble just to have fun. If i win and make a profit then it will be luck and bonus for me. But when I lost, even I was ready for it. Because my main purpose is to gamble just for fun and to get rid of boredom.

Personaly, i am gambling for fun, it offers a magical feelings full of happiness and hope. The fact of having an easy opportunity to make a fast fortune is so attractive.

Honestly, I'm very concerned to knowing about that, surely the life of people had a different and various conditions also that can be influence to them. It's good from that.. we just take a lesson, because of every cases there must be a lesson that we can take to be more careful of the path way that we choose.

Well and not necessarily also all the gamblers will experience the same thing like that, they certainly have a different life differences. And I think that's more vulnerable to happened something like that.. it's for gambler's addict who has been fatal/very dependence.

i couldn't agree more with you lol , i have seen a lot of people deposit into online casino for the sake of money laundering it's indeed proven work. but there always a consequence especially when you did it in large amount of money. having fun always be everyone purpose but unfortunately it's always leading to an addiction and yeah nothing good in the end when it comes to gambling.

I can understand your concerns and you feel why would any one put his life on the line, but it's something that just can't be explained easily, for some it's a quick gateway to become rich, for others it's a passion a thrill they never get from anyone else. For others it's a way to get over a broken heart and find peace In a game that loves you. Gambling is addiction or mind disorder which make you its slave. People often enter into gambling because of 2 reasons:
1. Just for fun and to try their luck.
2. To earn money in short term.
Mostly what happens if you win initially than you got excited and play again n again to earn more and got addicted.
Or If you lost first round, you got a thought of recovering lost money and then exit. But it never able to exit after that.

I would rather tag it as fun than easy money. Yes, it is easy money. Although, the same way it can be so easy to win is the same way it can be so easy to lose everything. A long time ago my friends drove me into the world of gambling. I started with the casual games of 5 draw poker and texas holdem. Afcorsee before that roulette was my entrance into this world. From that days I learned a lot from my games and I also had time to improve a lot. I started to gamble cause society and implementation into my friend circle and from the first moment when I stepped into that world, every game had brought me joy. I gamble cause it makes me happy and it is my little distraction from my ordinary life and family. I can step into this world and get lost in it no matter if I lose or I win. With the joy, there also comes that little need for the profit that is not always guaranteed cause gambling is risky. Some even call it a business. In modern times crypto gambling is presented to us that also gives us the better odds from the usual casinos and because of everyday improvement of the luck games I'm proud to be an ordinary gambler.

Very rare times to see people gamble because of their stress. I think we have another option to not use bitcoin to gamble. we can use altcoin for example, dogecoin to playing gambling. I mainly gamble to forget about the constant stress and frustration state i'm living either because of the shitty work that i have or from family problems . That's actually the main purpose why we are gambling, we want to have fun but we should also understand that the risk of losing is bigger compared to our chance of wining, with that in our mind we will be able to minimize our exposure and we can focus on a more important things that would give us a good chance of financial success. It is entertaining, yeah, but to the point where we are losing our money? It is not entertaining anymore, sometimes we have to think if we have to continue or to stop for us to avoid losing more money in the long run. I agree in some point but my mind oppose the other point.  It is true gambling addicts will surely continue to play gambling games, and so is the one who is not addicted.  People see gambling as form of entertainment, stress remover and of course a "sideline" to earn a profit.  These kind of people have their reason to continue playing gambling games, for example a person who work in a toxic environment have loads of stress coming into their mind.  If this person finds moderated gambling to free him from all the stress, he will continue to play so that he can start a fresh day in his job the next week and it is beneficial to him.

At my early years, I gamble because I wanted to earn in just an instant. Basically, I get addicted to it before because of the money involved. I've got my ups and downs before and It keeps me on going because of my ups. I don't care about losing since I believe that I could win it back (Guess I'm wrong). But today, I gamble just for the sake of fun and entertainment nothing more and nothing less. I've learned my lesson, but It is really hard to turn away from gambling in just one snap. I'm trying to go from occassional to zero.

You can't tell to people that they will stop gambling and then just to create profit since gambling is highly risk at all well earning profit from there is very hard since the only way is to spending money even you put too much money there in the end you will get lose earning is bit fun but lossing i don't even think so. Nothing wrong in it, if we have a purpose in gambling, but if we have a purpose under our budget then gambling can't disturb us. Because in gambling everyone has these Two main purposes to Earn Money or Entertainment. I usually gamble just to be entertain and sometimes our way of dating together with my husband or there are times qith our friends like a group date. But we all know how to limit ourselves even if we are winning or losing we always have alloted time to play. So we don't call ourselves as a addicted gamblers.

Well, but you already said that you have limits everytime that you start gambling, and that is the most important thing that you should do. You can not gamble if you do not have limits, you could end just gambling your entire house.

Certainly yes, everyone of us have a different purpose of why we gamble.
