Not sure why everyone is so excited. I don't see a lot of activity on GitHub and I am unsure if the MasterNode feature is still on the table.

Hey guys I am having trouble getting my wallet to sync with the network. I just did a manual transfer trying to initiate the sync and have had no success. Please any help would be appreciated

U can use ccminer SPmod2 or without SPmods if u dont have them.

OC can be at 150 core, 500 mem .. Power and fan as u wish .. :)

Hey guys, I'm hoping someone can give me some answers on what kind of stuff you need to set up a masternode. Obviously having the # of coins is first priority, but then what? Can it be done from a laptop, or do you actually need to set up some kind of special rig for a masternode? What kind of investment would it take to acquire said things? Thanks in advance!

Thanks, for someone not too technically inclined, what would one have to do. I understand what a static IP means, but from my understanding most "normal" home IP's regularly can change. Assuming I'd have to change that somehow. I'm not sure what portforwarding means, or how I'd go about doing it. Sorry, these are probably basic questions but I'm just learning as I go.

Currently, you can't and if I were you I wouldn't buy neither the coins nor anything else before the developer announces working masternodes. As it stands, it is somewhat unlikely he will ever finish them.

Look, I mean no disrespect, but I am a developer and I look at the code. Everyone can promise stuff, but the proof is in a working system. I simply have no time to follow chats where every once in a while something important is going on among jokes and cat memes. Marksteven has gone mute here instead of at least doing a weekly status update and he is no longer developing.

If your provider claims to give you a static ip, i guess its good enough, about the portforwarding, login to your router and check it on google.

Same here , the cryptopia wallet address is not working with that app . And its not signing up ..
Maybe ill stick with mining in GPU :P

Just make sure you select Master under branch, NOT ScorecoinMasternodeSource until the new code is officially released ! It looks like some miners already started using parts of the new code, the network has been acting weird since yesterday. Do realize that you might end up with invalid blocks so stick with the official code until the DEV releases the new one !

whos mining this? how are you doing it? i've tried downloading a couple different miners (ccminer and cudaminer). either the miner is like 3 years old, no longer available or defender is blocking it, saying it contains a virus.

We have an issue on the coincave.nl mining pool where we are discovering blocks that have already been found. This is then forcing the unconfirmed shares of the original block to be orphaned. Please fix this as we have spent time and energy to discover these blocks and now we are working back through the blockchain for the second time. This occured in a series of 54 blocks.

The issue is in the coin source, not the pool, check this link:

I think the dev should really get cracking and solve these issues that currently only happen with score, most other coins are running without too many issues.

I wish they would of closed the subject with a resolution...regardless whether its a coin source issue or an anomaly with the pool configuration the issue is a detriment to mining on coincave.nl...which I prefer over our other pools. From my experience with mining dutch they do not have this as an issue. It seems like coincave has an issue when the difficulty levels are +/- 300

The configuration is no different than any of the other coins, check TRADE or BAT, they run fine, so for now there is not much I can do from here. I have the impression that there is an alternative blockchain running that crosses the correct one frequently based on those rewrites in the debug.log.

It seems that somebody made a fork of scorecoin, with a minimum peer version, so that we cant connect,and they are mining beside!

I guess he will dump it to the market then, so be careful guys. i look what i can do, but there is not much to do at the moment.

At current difficulty, 668 Megahash needed for 1 block per hour. So calculate from that.

Very good ! I hope the dev can isolate whatever ip address(es) is causing the disruption. Another way to make sure for miners they are on the correct chain to use connect= statements in their .conf file instead of addnode and use listen=0 in addition to that. If we have a list of correct nodes that should work for the time being.

As far as I can tell from the code it should change every block using Digishield, old code was every 10 blocks (10 minutes under normal circumstances):

Yup! I am just guessing here but recent disruptions feel like someone is just trying to stall the network/blockchain. Transactions depend on a blockchain moving ahead like a conveyor belt. If it stops confirmations will stop and people will start dumping their coins at idiotic prices, only for the disruptor to pick them up. A word of advice to all, stop dumping your coins and let's get this thing rolling again!

I think you should definitely check diff retargeting for SCORE. If I compare the networkhashrate on Score and Trade, the diff of Score seems waaaay too high for current networkhashrate.

If you know what's good for you and your money, wait till there are actually working masternodes. True, you will pay more per coin, but as it stands, you might lose easily 90% if MN's never arrive. I am down 75% on my money, so go figure.

If you are looking for masternode coins, there are more promising projects out there.

You have to put it in the wallets data directory. For Windows, try putting the scorecoin.conf (NOT scorecoin.config) file in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\scorecoin\

You can also open the debug console from the menus in the wallet and type the following:

hey, thanks for the answer. score is one of the microcaps im really intersted in. especially with the upcomming masternodes implementation. does anyone have a good read regarding that topic? Are masternodes primarly implemented because of the coins that will be locked or do they have any other meaning? i know that dash masternodes have the abbility to vote for the network and enable private send. is there anything compareable with score masternodes?

no , scorecoin has no chainproblems. the difficulty atm is 683, so you need hashpower to move the blocks forward, so at the moment, it takes longer move the chain, also there needs more hashpower .so just keep mining and you will see that wallet is syncing!

Mark, it looks like this coin is slowly dying. Are there any developments at all? Seems price is fluctuating in a small windows for trading, which is fine . . . but at some point people who are still left are going to get tired of waiting. No MN. No updates on Github.

I worked together with Mark on one of these Projects. So, that’s how we know each other.

Scorecoin Development Status:
First, Masternodes are not the problem. They never were. Scorecoin is based on an old source code so when we started to implement new Features we ran into many incompatibilities. That’s why we decided to update the Source and implement the Masternodes afterwards. While updating the source we were confronted with a couple nice features which are already implemented on the recent versions of bitcoin, litecoin …
We have great Plans for Scorecoin and Mark is already in touch with some gaming websites, talking about new partnerships. That is why we want to build on something which has a solid technical ground for further developments. That’s the part that took us the most time.

Because of these major changes it is not possible to give an exact date for the next release, all tough I can tell you that we are on a very good stage right now. Still, there can be unexpected bugs in the final test phase which already happened once. For such a Situation, this time, we have prepared a “early” release of the next version with the Masternodes feature implemented on the (almost) old source code. But that’s only the backup plan! We will ask you if we get there. Let’s hope not.

Nice turn of events here!! Ok, so now that there is another team member, maybe investors confidence will return? Espcially if you guys stay active and push updates or interact on a regular basis. Price is going up and up, Devs are working on this coin.
Soon we will see a price of 0.20 USD like other MN coins. But since this coin has a business program like games etc with it,
than the price will go to 0.80 usd in a couple of month and next year above 1 usd.
I am going to invest since its cheap right now to compare with other MN coins.
The other positive side of this coin is that its already listed on Cryptopia exchange.
Nowadays to list a coin on Cryptopia costs 8 btc. Score has a great potential.
when the MN comes price will jump and we wont see todays price any longer.

I am glad to announce that we integrated Masternodes and Darksend to Scorecoin. It was an important milestone to get this Features work with our current Version. Source Code on Github has been updated to the latest Version (Master Branch). There is now another branch with version 1.0 which reflects the current client. We will create the new branch (2.0) and release the Windows Clients after the first full Masternode has been completely tested. The according set up will be done this week.
All further developments, as well as instructions how to setup your MN, can be tracked on Github.

They have said in the Discord that they are working on SCORE coin first. But I think this is good for holders of both coins. With Masternode integration, these coins are both undervalued. Any masternode needs static IP, since you have to specify an external ip + port for your masternode.

Updates like these are excellent! I caught some of the SCORE coin Tweets today, and it led me back here.

Once the development is complete, and Masternodes are operational, the community can look to really pushing the marketing of SCORE.

I admit, I did have my doubt some months back, but held on because I saw potential. And now you guys are getting there!

25k will be the amount for a SCORE MN, if I remember right. And with the current price, and looking at the former all-time-high, people can scoop up 25k coins pretty cheap. For now . . . ;D

What the hell does that got to do with anything? The dev is still working on it and had nothing to do with a pump. Trump coin ran up to 28k dump down to 2k and then ran up to 68k. We developed a web site for ScoreCoin and studied ways to promote your coin properly. We wanted to help as part of ScoreCoin community, since everything on your roadmap is delayed and your digital strategy looks unprofessional.

The demo of that site was hacked a few minutes after I sent it to you for review. It was incomplete and based on a WordPress theme that was not patched till that moment. Don't. This coin is a train-wreck, it's unlikely masternodes will ever be finished and even more unlikely Score will ever rise to a meaningful market cap. Wish I could get out anywhere near my purchase price.

Marksteven has not done anything on github in the last 10 days. There is an open issue, nobody did anything about it, neither he nor the other phantom developer. There is a pull request waiting (since two weeks) to be reviewed and merged, no work done on that.

It's simple as that: Marksteven does not have the skills to get a working crypto coin out the door and instead of trying, he is goofing around on discord and selling off his bags once the price goes up.

If you bought in at a higher price (like I did, unfortunately), you can kiss your money good-bye.

There is no need to have an update EVERY day, but the last commit was 10 days ago, not by him. The one before was also only a merged push request. Even when including that one there were only four commits in the last month. This doesn't seem like super active development

Honestly, I took a bit of a gamble on this one. I read the old threads and it isn't pleasant reading, but old threads are not what is happening today. Could history repeat? Sure it could. Could the masternode happen? Sure it could. If it goes pear shaped I lose my speculative investment. Shit happens. If the masternode works then I'm up 10 times at least. I consider that a decent bet.

Maybe there some problem with node connection either from the blockchain or from the end-users. Have to wait for dev to confirm this matter.

As far as I know he had no coins left after the first pump and dump, he even said that. I'm sure the price will rise a little bit once again after he abandoned the project long enough so he can debut cheap and sell high again when he makes new promises and doesn't deliver. I'm happy to be proven wrong this time, but I don't think I will. Too many promises have never been fulfilled

You need to have a static public IP, other than that no. But there are no masternodes for this coin. They have been promised since July, nothing happened yet. I would recommend you to search for other masternodes coins to invest

We decided to bring more structure in our future communications. There will be two updates monthly about the ongoing technical and strategical process. Time range for the announcement will be after the second and fourth week every month.
Meaning; the next update will be in between 13. and 19. of November.

On this very first update, in the new Structure, I want to share the current Stage of this Project and provide some answers to common asked questions;

We are in a finalizing stage regarding the next steps of Scorecoin. There are no any technical stoppers. These stage is more of a strategical nature.
Since we worked on multiple versions we need to decide which of them we will release. One of the mentioned versions has been uploaded to Github, Old Source with Masternodes. The main reason why we uploaded this, was because it was a clear undoubtable prove of work. And people asked for it. No matter on which one we will decide; the next version will require a hard fork.
What we want to avoid is some other hard fork in short time after this one. So, we need to make a wise decision here which requires time. Besides, some of us, including myself, have a full-time job!

But what I can tell you certainly is this:
First, there will be a release before 2018.
Second, we will never abandon Scorecoin.

Such rumors are mostly efforts to acquire cheap score on the market. If you want to buy a do some gambling on the alt currency market feel free to buy any other coin. Scorecoin is not a short term investment and we do not focus on the daily market value.

Just in case anyone is wondering why it is nearly impossible to mine Score I made a few calculations. As soon as diff drops just a bit it is most likely hit by a multipool or someone with a lot of hashingpower. If you check most pools or even your wallet or daemon it will tell you that networkhashrate is only around 1000-2000 MH/s, which is wrong. Networkhashrate is calculated based on a specific number of blocks already mined, as it is simply impossible to measure the real current networkhashrate. So we need to look at the values we DO have, which is diff. At the moment of writing diff is around 960. If we apply the following formula we get the true power that hit Score to get this diff:

(960 * 2^32 ) / 60 = 68.7 GH/s !!

That's (diff * 2^32) / normal blocktime in seconds (60)

I have changed the code for Score to reflect this value on http://score.coincave.nl so you get a real indication of what is going on.

Personally I took a gamble back when Score was trading for ~700SAT and I bought several thousand just before the original masternode release date. I can't speak for anyone else but I'm glad I'm out and I do not regret my decision at all - I'm fine with believing that this project does not have a bright future. I'm also fine with being proven wrong, and I wish Mark the best of luck with doing just that!

Just hodl your coin. Reasons why this coin will succeed and rise in value are:

-this coin is already on Cryptopia which is an investment of 11 BTC. one big step ahead of other mn coins.

-low circulating coin on the market.

-this coin has a purpose. Many other coins are just currency and they are doing well so Score
is both currency and will be implemented in games and businesses.

-Score is implementing masternode witch is also a good indicator of value raise.

-2 active devs, who have benefits, are working on this coin, even-though the work is slow but hey thing takes time. be patient.

And remember early investors are always winners when price raises and thats well deserved cause we took a bigger risque.
Full disclosure: I have 40 other masternodes, I hold 125K Score and I know what I am doing ... I live on passive income.

Here is the regular update to give you an insight about our current process. Since there were also couple questions, regarding Tradecoin, I want to cover them with this announcement too.

We decided to release a complete new version for both, Score and Trade, which will require a Coin Swap. This is a good thing! We will ensure a 1:1 ratio so its stays that way. One, of the many reasons, we decided to take this step is the closure of Nova.
So, we are currently working on a Solution to take both coins on a new Exchange. Of course, there is also a possibility to stay and list Tradecoin on Cryptopia.

I cannot give more details but as soon as we are done dealing with this, we will start the release as well as the swap. Both new Versions, including Masternodes, have been already tested successfully.

Next Update will be between 04.12.17-10.12.17.

There are people who are swapping new coins from dead coins in days. Literally. They will create everything, make an ANN, and get moving.

We have seen this time and again, especially in the last few months where swaps became a big thing.

So, why not here? A few sentences and a "next month" update?

The coins is basically dead. I have a few thousand I am hanging onto for the heck of it. But this news is really no news.

Create the new chain, create a wallet, create an ANN, clone an existing coin with MN's, upload to Github . . . . . . done.

I know a few people who would do it ;D

I think you are overlooking one very important thing here. The community as a whole has invested time and in many cases quite a lot of money, yet nobody is consulted, all decisions about changes take place without asking what the community thinks. Updates should also be a lot more frequent.

If you swap Score, you loose Cryptopia as well. It is very expensive to list Score again on Cryptopia. Make sure you dont loose cryptopia.
Anyways we are waiting for the update and masternodes. Please adopt PIVX wallet for Score and Trade, other wallets are not optimal,
and list coins on masternodes.online

ive been following this coins time by time since the first massive pump wich gave me amazing gains. yet he the dev didnt even deliver anything, except promisings and overhyping his coins with blatant screenshots from cmc that scorecoin is on biggest gainers!

Yes, I sold all Score long time ago. I just find it very scary how people here still believe in the project, that they will make huge money with it and Score is the next bitcoin. Im confused as to why people still believe in this too. I got rid of all mine a while ago whenever the dev decided to take a 1 month vacation (his actual words in the telegram). I see that since then nothing has happened.

it depends on which metode the dev team chosses. but as i understand it you will have to download the new wallet first then go to their webside where you get the address to send coins and there you put the address you have on the new wallet and they send the amount you have send them. thats a swap.
